FIRST COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION Park Ave, Beloit

I rarely give a bad review, and I always try to see things from others' perspectives. However, I've dealt with Jack Gill twice at FCCU, and both times Ive had to walk away from him. I dont understand how someone could be such a smug, condecending and arrogant human being without any provocation. The issue could easily have been resolved had he just appologized for his mistake, rather than continue to place blame on my son who is a credit union member. I have several accounts with them, and am now questioning whether I should move to another bank or credit union. I'm not sure a third encounter with him would end as quietly as the first two. I'm very disappointed in his behavior, to say the least. I would expect more from someone in his position!

This bank is a bunch of thieves. They charged me an over draft fee of $32 on top of a reoccurring payment before they even open so I don’t have time to put money in the bank that day. Staff is rude. They know what they’re doing, this is the worst bank I’ve ever been at. Closing as soon as possible don’t bank here.

We've been a member of FCCU since we joined in Monroe over 25 years ago. They don't charge the fees that other places do, and that helped make our raising a family a better experience.

Awesome and easy to work with. Best rates no questions asked. I have received my last 3 car loans right here. Including a refinance with my wife’s car as they offered the best interest rate locally. A loyal customer for sure.

I live a distance from any of the branches of First Community Credit Union, to assist a family member. If I have any questions in regards to my current banking needs, or inquire on future needs, I can call or come in and speak with someone. Highly professional and friendly staff that take the time to explain any questions I may have. I definitely recommend First Community Credit Union for your banking needs.

I’ve had my bank acct at this credit union for a couple of years. Everyone is polite and respectful. I recently purchased a vehicle. The dealership gave me an outraged high interest. I asked my credit union if they were able to refinance my current loan to a lower rate and of course they said yes. They ran my credit I was approved for a great rate. The process was easy. Highly recommended.

We just joined First Community Credit Union of Beloit when we bought our new car. Loan went through smoothly and we have set up online banking. We are happy with all the services and have made our first payment online with our checking account. I have called for assistance and received prompt attention and help. Very Satisfied customer.

Great credit union. I have had issues in the past with other credit unions so I was rather leary of doing business with them. However Amber made the process really easy. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

First Community Credit Union has been the easiest credit union to use. I simply have direct deposits taken out of my check and deposited into my account. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Thanks for being great at what you do.

I have banked with First Community for years now and can honestly say that this branch gives the worst customer service all the way down to phone etiquette. I also know many other members of this bank that have visited this branch that agree. If you live in Beloit or the surrounding areas and bank with First Community, I HIGHLY recommend making the drive to the Janesville branch where you are guaranteed friendly service. I am a financial supervisor for a few businesses and I deal with other banks frequently and never have had to deal with service from them like I have from MY OWN PERSONAL BANK. I will be closing my account with First Community and will be banking with a friendlier local bank such as Blackhawk. I would recommend ANY Blackhawk location over this one First Community location.

We are fairly new to this credit union within the past year but we are beyond happy with all of the benefits and resources available to us for being their customer and belonging to their credit union. The customer service is so personal we give them a five star of excellence!!!!!

I love this Credit Union ! Their workers are pleasant and their website is very user friendly ! I only wish there were more ATM'S around Rock County, other that the Beloit Branch location, which gets very busy.

I seen I'm not the only one with this issue but these guys are greedy thieves. I have transactions pending and I would have been okay except as soon as an auto payment hits my account, these pending charges become OD FEE OD FEE OD FEE OD FEE at $32 a pop. They are going to end up taking nearly my entire up coming check. I guess I don't really need money to raise my kid, pay bills, buy food etc. Soon as my vehicle is paid off I'm done with these corporate scumbags.

I have had my account with FCCU for some years now. I have never had an issue. If I have questions they are always helpful in answering them or getting someone else that can help. The tellers are always friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend FCCU to family and friends!

Other banks and credit unions are unable to compete with the rate I was able to get through First Community Credit Union of Beloit. I checked before and after I got my loan. First Community Credit Union of Beloit offers customer service that is helpful, timely and friendly. The App is easy to use and allows me to access my accounts from anywhere. Highly recommend!

Everyone treats you like a good friend, going out of their way in any way they can to assist you with your needs. Their rates are very competitive and the extra services they have available through the mobile app have been invaluable during the pandemic.

Ive been with First Community Credit Union Of Beloit For 3 years now!! All of the tellers as well as the people in the accounting department are extremely helpful & kind!! Ive had excellent experiences with everyone at this branch!!

My family and I have been using First Community Credit Union for our banking needs since I was a child. I love their service. Everyone is always so friendly and attentive and has the answers I need to any questions I have. Even during the changes that have come with the COVID pandemic, employees have worked to make it possible for us to have a Notary when needed and fulfill other needs from the convenience of the drive thru window, since we couldn't enter the building. This prevented a complete stop to the needs of our everyday life. They have gone above and beyond while still caring for the our safety and theirs. From children's first accounts, to free checking and loans, we choose FCCU.

It's funny I have only ever spoken to people from the credit union over the phone. I have never been to any of the branches, but i have 2 loans through 1st Comm. When ever I call people ate very pleasant and helpful on the phone. I have never spoken to anyone that has had a bad attitutde,. Its great to deal with people that treat you with respect.!

Lobby has coin machine for bank members and non banks members (small fee for non) which is great compared to fees at Coinstar. Great service reps both inside bank and via drive thru. Great place to go for a first time loan-willing to work with you and great rates.
