First California Federal CU E Shields Ave, Fresno

I have made several deposits over the years there to friends and family that have accounts there. Good customer service and very clean. I needed a change with my current bank so I came here to open an account. Very good experience.

I don't have to wait in line long. The tellers never try to sell me anything. I used to be with city-bank and they were always trying to sell me some service. Every time I deposited a check, they would talk to me about some service they had.

I am extremely disappointed with this bank. Ever since I have opened an account with them in 2014 they have caused me nothing but trouble. I have only banked with them because my car loan was through them. They do not do ANYTHING that you ask them to do. They were supposed to send my statement of facts to change my last name on my car registration to the DMV, NEVER DID IT. I said whatever and just went ahead and paid off my loan with them. I specifically asked them to have the title mailed to them and I would pick it up there. A month later I find out they received it and mailed it off. I NEVER RECEIVED IT! Do they care ? NO. Do not bank here!

Elite Alert: December last year I was told I could get a $200.00 secured credit card and would need all together about $300.00 to complete the process, today (01/27/20) I was told I'd need $1000.00 minimum to get a secured credit card. I mentioned that earlier I was told $300.00 but again I was told $300.00. So much for helping the immediate neighborhood it depends I think if you r like or not. I'll never use a credit union nothing but picky and greedy self serving elitist.

I liked it because it's clean the staff is very helpful easy access for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Easy to find on the corner of Fresno Street and shields. Nice and cool inside.!

This bank is nothing but a thief. This bank and branch charged our 83yr old relative $2,511.00. in overdraft fees this last year. This is a disgusting and horrible way to do business that NO-ONE should support. Withdraw your account and certainly do not EVER do business here. We are contacting adult protective services to see if their banking practices violated state and federal laws which protect the elderly.

Worst Banking Experience Ever. Can not keep up scheduled dates as promised. Arrogant upper management. Loan manager (Anthony) will access your personal account and withdraw money without your consent or knowledge in a show of power to customer. Do not know how to deal with discouraged and or frustrated customer other than by means of arrogance. Takes them forever to get a computer generated appraisal, task performed in minutes by other financial institutions. Felt more like a personal backyard ran institution than a federal financial one.Sad; lower level employees are friendly and courteous and will go as far as possible to help customers. Definitely could use an upper management reform.

The absolute worst service and the most antiquated banking processes. To ask them to assist with anything that has to do with your account is like pulling teeth.

I had two auto loans since 2014 and everything was excellent experience. I am in the process to refinancing my home since I trust the way they handled business previously.

This bank has poor customer service. When you have problems with your account they can't really solve anything!
