I'm not sure what happened with this company but the past 2 years they have done a total 180. Customer service at the Taylor branch is like going into the Secretary of State and getting stuck with the angry old lady behind the counter. The bank tellers are rude and really don't care about any issues that you're having because they make you feel like you're bothering them by asking questions. Fifth third has gone downhill the past two years

I had called early this morning to try to get my account back opened up. I was told had to see an bank teller so arrived at the bank at 9:25 this morning and was sitting there for a bout and hour and half or longer waiting. There was an couple that had appointments at 10 am but they didn’t come until around like 9:55am. When came to be my turn the bank teller Anthony Thomas did absolutely nothing but asked for my ID and then handed me a card with a number to call. To remind you I’ve been going to this bank on @ 9691 Telegraph Road for awhile in Taylor Mi 48180. I most definitely will not be returning to this location. Especially since the person that always took care of me which was Kenna. Other then that I never had any problems until today. It was an inconvenience for me.

I went into this Bank and was attended by a cashier who was sick as a dog. Now I am sick also. Thank you 5th 3rd. Stay home when you're sick.

The service in this location is ridiculous. I had to wait over 2 hours just to have someone assist me in closing my checking account. When I first walked in I was told it would take 45 minutes. After an hour I asked a worker at the front desk why is it taking this long and she gave me an attitude. She suggested going to the Dearborn fifth third bank location instead of helping me out. I'm absolutely disgusted with this bank and would not recommend it to anyone.

Hands down the Best bank and my favorite people to deal with ❤❤❤ keep up the good work. *update since i cant write another review* for the person complaining about the banker getting you sick 😆 you take that risk breathing bud &rude staff where? The absolute best staff here anyone saying they are done going here BYE lol they aren't losing anything except your Bad ATTITUDE. 😝😂❤

My husband and I received a check with both names on it and both signed and deposited it into the atm but kept wondering why the check wasn't showing and its been 4 days now no one called my husband to inform him they could not accept the check, he have a full relationship with this bank and money in his account and we have deposited checks with both names on the checks before 3 to 4 other times and every thing was deposited with no problem and now it's a problem. So only because we called to find out that they are mailing the check back to us. If there is a relationship with this institution, why not call the customer first before mailing it or check the account to see that they have cleared checks before with both names on it.

My daughter was directed to a company that Fifth Third recomended for a card reader for her business called World Pay . She used their reader for a very short time prior to the pandemic and never used again . They had a lot of fees that were not told to her and now they are holding her money which is almost 2300. We have been calling this HORRIBLE company just about everyday and was advised she needed to send a lot of proof she was the owner of the reader before she could get her money . She did that and was advised they received and would send to management . She still has not received HER money ! Do you think the bank would be willing to help her since THEY sent her to them and she is a CUSTOMER of theirs ? NOPE!! All we get is new stories every time we talk to someone . I have advised her to pull her money out of the bank since they are completely unwilling to assist her in getting her money back . I will continually put down this bank as well as World Pay and advised not to use either . If you can’t step up and help your customers then how loyal should a person be to your bank ?! We tried speaking to a supervisor but get turned down on that also . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE bank and customer service and further action will be taken !

This bank has a rude staff and does not open on time. A women arrived 5 minutes AFTER they’re scheduled open time, then walked out of her car and glared at me as she locks the door behind her. Two other cars pulled up assuming the bank was open but it still wasn’t. I gave up and found the next nearest bank. Very unprofessional, for a bank especially. This woman lost Fifth Third another customer.

I haven’t banked with these guys since they added monthly assessment fees to my checking account more than a decade ago. I was just discussing banks with family and was reminded of the trauma I endured with these guys. I have yet to find another bank who charges clients a monthly fee for checking. I wish this review could extend to the entire company as a whole. I recommend Citizens Bank because I haven’t had any unwanted surprises.
