Fifth Third Bank & ATM E Jefferson, Detroit

Robert is the RUDEST and MOST UNPROFESSIONAL teller I’ve ever experienced. To make such a low wage, he’s very condescending and thinks he runs the bank. VERY NASTY ATTITUDE. There’s an older black woman, whom is also a teller at this bank…SHE LOST MY DRIVERS LICENSE AND DENIED IT. It seems like she must have some form of dementia due to the fact I HAD TO STOP HER FROM PUTTING ANOTHER CUSTOMER FUNDS INTO MY ACCOUNT. Terrible location full of unprofessional staff.

I miss Omar and miss Trudy the new staff is terrible and rude and charge your account and won’t let u know I’ve banked here for 5 years now I’m ready to leave after today

There is ALWAYS a delay in service. At the drive thru, there are no vehicles in line, yet, waiting 15 to 20 minutes. There are three people in the teller area, however two servicing customers currently present! This office, as others in the city are NEVER customer focused. Shame. Must move money out!

My god. It took me over a 40 minutes to make my car payment. Get more help !!!!! Or faster people working there. I would give it zero stars if I could. This is why I HATE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK

They need to shut this bank down. It would be faster driving to any bank in the state of michigan than coming here. It's a joke.

If I could give them a negative 5 I would. This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered while trying to take care of business. Particularly Trudy and Omar, they are the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. The other teller (who always has a frown on her face) it’s just rude. Loud, gossiping about the customers talking about people’s business where other customers can hear is unacceptable. It’s sad and unfortunate when you try to do business in the city where you live & work that you get this type of treatment. Whenever I go into a fifth third bank in the suburbs I never encounter what I have experienced at this location. I’m closing all of my accounts and taking my business elsewhere. Now I have to be inconvenienced because they don’t know how to treat the customers. Smh!

I've been banking here for a year and I've had nothing but great experiences every tIme I need assistance. They had the exact kind of savings i needed. They offer a prepaid debit card that you can transfer finds to protect your account when making online purchases. Alli of the staff is professional and friendly. They have many ATMs you can use without getting fees. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the security door. It always confuses me but I understand the need for safety. I highly recommend this bank!

Horrible customer service at this branch. Tried the drive thru once and had a negative experience. Thought I would give it a try again, considering this is the closest branch and I have a small child I do not want to take out in the cold. The second experience was way worse than the first. Waited 20 minutes (only person in line) just to be told they don’t have enough “big bills”. Then they couldn’t verify my signature. Was told to come inside anyways. Just close the drive thru down if you don’t want to service customers through it. The only friendly banker is Trudy, the rest are rude and unprofessional, they make it seem like they have a problem giving you YOUR money.

staff here is always pleasant and professional. never a long wait and i'm always in and out quickly. thank you for that, fifth-third.

Opened an account there this week everyone was very helpful and friendly would recommend and all the tellers are nice
