Fifth Third Bank & ATM 10th St, Palmetto

I have multiple Fifth Third business accounts and overall have had good experiences with the company as a whole, with the exception of this Palmetto branch. Every time I have tried to go to this branch there is some issue. They choose to nitpick and try to find reasons to not do their job or help you. They are rude and act inconvenienced by your presence. If this is the only location you would have access to, I would go to ANY other bank before doing business here.

I would give less stars if I could. Been getting calls from them for a fraudulent charge on my card. MY CARD and ACCOUNT I CANCELLED in December 2018. I went INTO the branch in Palmetto Florida (2 TIMES) and closed my account got the money that was left in it and signed papers. APPARENTLY they closed the account but NOT the debt card..WHO DOES THAT...IDIOTS. I called this morning to find out about this call and text and to inform them that it was closed in December 2018, some lady with an Asian accent said she needed my social security number to look up my account (the closed one)...yeah NOT happening. She said she couldn't look up my account (the closed one) without it. So I asked her if she would give out her SSN over the phone she said yes...well good for her I won't. So I called the Greenfield Indiana (the branch in my hometown) talked to Veronica who was able to look my account up without my SSN isn't that amazing. She told me that the account was closed but that Palmetto Florida didn't bother to close the card...AGAIN...WHO DOES THAT. The work ethic in Florida is beyond STUPID....she told me I had to come into the branch and close it out since I wouldn't give her my SSN over the phone. That would require me to take off work early AGAIN to fix THEIR mistake. I HATE FLORIDA businesses...they have NO customer service and are AWFUL to deal with

Really like this bank, the tellers are really nice and pretty fast service. And they are pretty helpful. They are slow sometimes and it takes a while for deposits and checks to be process but better than most banks in this area

I love the Palmetto Branch. Everyone there is super friendly and eager to help. Ysabel has been especially great.

Every time I need there help or service .its been provided right away.. Without waiting.. I like that..

Walking into this bank is spooky--the employees always outnumber the customers. I notice this in all their locations here in the Sarasota/Bradenton vicinity. I know they are big up north, but this area is obviously not one of their business hot spots. Everyone is always unfailingly friendly and helpful, though.

WARNING!!! YOUR FIRST CHECK WILL BE WITHHELD FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS! IF YOU LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK DO NOT GIVE YOUR FIRST CHECK AT THE END OF THE MONTH! THIS COMPANY WILL NOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS TO HELP YOU! EVEN HOMELESSNESS! THEY DO NOT CARE! Basic bank at it's finest. Do not trust them. Infact, if you REALLY want to have a laugh, check out their rating on the better business bureau.

The deposit option on your ATM of your palmetto location does not work more often than not.

Said it opens up at 9 am and I needed to open a bank account and cash a check got here at 9:12 am and its locked not a good start
