Fidelity Investments Fayetteville Rd, Durham

One star for the fact there is a local branch. The staff is very friendly but not sufficiently trained to help when i needed a bank or certified check from my brokerage account. One employee had no idea what i was even talking about. It then took two people and my showing the employees their own Fidelity Investments website before they were able to tell me that they could not help. However, when I call and speak with Fidelity reps on the phone, the service is always courteous, accurate and complete. i am a phone only customer from now on.

My experience with the Southpoint office was great while I transferred money into the firm but once the money was there, my experience was very poor. I never had just one advisor/person to connect with. Mistakes were made which caused delays in transactions. I was not comfortable. My go to person was in Florida. There were multiple problems. I am no longer with Fidelity.

My overall experience at this office was poor. The representative was new and did not engage me in any form, weather about investing or opening a new account. I was hoping to be able to sit down, or at least interact better, with a representative about opening a new account as I had many questions. He gave me very basic information and nothing more. If I had not familiarized my self with what investing is or had a friend who can answer my questions, I would have walked out of the office within minutes because there were no upbeat personalities and felt no one had my interest at heart. I felt I was just another person walking through. They also seemed to lack knowledge of all the paperwork required to open a new account; was never challenged on who i was, no identification asked for. I hope future costumers have a more positive experience than I.

I needed to visit a Fidelity office several times in the past year and the team here has been very helpful. I came in without an appointment and was able to get what I needed quickly. Thanks!

I am not quite sure what happened to Margarita but our experience has been quite the opposite. Our representative/adviser was always professional and well versed in the particular investments we required in our retirement. We have been tremendously pleased with the service provided by Fidelity.

I love Fidelity. I can get someone on the phone 24/7 and have always had good service at the Durham office. I love that they are not paid by the number of trades that they make for you and thus do not suggest churning your accounts like other brokerage firms. (eg Merrill Lynch)

My wife and I stopped by March 18 and it was closed "due to bad weather". It was the only store in Durham closed. What a joke. This lets me know how unprofessional these guys are. I'm taking our investments somewhere else...no longer trust these guys.
