FAIRWINDS Credit Union W Colonial Dr, Winter Garden

A couple of days ago I attempted to make a post but was unsuccessful, my second attempt. I would like to give a big thanks to the entire team of the Winter Garden branch for thier outstanding customer service, and making me feel welcomed and appreciated. From the management staff to the newest person on the team the professionalism and customer service is outstanding. What prompted me to post today was the customer service friendly long term team member by the name of Ally who has assisted me not only a couple days ago, but for the last couple of years with consistency, kindness and professionalism. The Assistant Manager (AM), Michelle is extremely helpful. She used to be my local branch AM (Vista Lakes). Because I established such a great rapport and because she goes out of her way to get things done, I've stuck with her after her moving to Winter Garden.

Michelle and her team are amazing, super friendly and Michelle always has a solution to offer no matter the issue. This team here treats you like an individual, they call you by name and provide red carpet customer service!

The tellers are very friendly and Ally goes above and beyond to provide great service! Thank you

I can't say enough for all the help that Michelle Assistant Manager and Hannah my Loan Officer did in making my auto loan process quick and efficient. They both are a pleasure to work with. Very professional, courteous, and responsive to all our needs. I am very grateful for all their help and look forward to along working relationship. They truly understand customer service!!

Came into a local branch today. Michelle was so awesome and attentive to every knee that I had. All of the representatives in this branch are super friendly and cordial. My favorite branch in Central Florida.

Such a relief going here after going next door to Truist. Truist had terrible customer service and no one could confidently answer anything. I'm closing my account with Truist and starting one here for sure. Big thanks to the lady at the front and Jeffrey E for being so polite and professional!

This location provides excellent customer service! Everyone there smiles and greets you when you enter. We personally worked with Sara Vest and I highly recommend her to anyone. We needed a car loan and she helped us find the perfect car that exceeded our needs, was very attentive and provided quick responses to our random questions throughout the whole process. They really have your best interests at heart.

Terrible experience with Ciara at the Fairwinds on west colonial in winter garden. Deposit the same check every other week at this branch. Every time I get Ciara as the teller she is very unpleasant and acts as though doing her job is an inconvenience. I deposited a check that was a slightly different amount then normal but the same company. As I drove away I noticed that the slip had a 10 day hold on the funds. I went back around and waited again. I advised her there was something wrong. She said I tried to tell you that I was placing a hold when you drove off. I advised her that i didn’t understand the hold nor had ever had one and she should have advised me of that before depositing it so that I had an option to ask for a manager, take the check elsewhere etc. Instead of listening to what I had to say she became combative and more unprofessional. She advised me that she would have a manager check into it and call me back. I asked when and she said by the end of the day. She then asked how much I needed? That didn’t make sense you put a hold, no reason given, won’t get a manager and then suddenly you can release some. I advised her I needed a manager now. She didn’t say anything and just kept typing after waiting almost 10 min I advised her I could not wait any longer and I needed a manager to contact me ASAP. I NEVER GOT A CALL. I contacted another branch on Kirkman and spoke with Michael who was wonderful and asked him and his manager to look into it. He advised that maybe she put a hold on it because it was a little different amount but then advised me that a normal hold is 3 days and she put an exception hold of an extended period of time which he didn’t understand. So not only was Ciara the teller unprofessional, but I also feel discriminated against as she put an even greater hold on my funds that isn’t customary with no explanation or making me aware of it from the beginning . Ciara has always been unpleasant when we have gone to the bank, however her unprofessional behavior has caused us to no longer want to bank with her establishment. I am appalled at her unprofessional behavior and even more appalled that I never received a call from anyone at the bank. I will be looking for a new bank on Monday !
