When using my VA loan for the first time I had a lot of questions and really needed a company that would explain everything to me so that I felt comfortable. Fairway did that and more. I just sent in the required documents and they took care of the rest. I was able to track where I was in the process. The team was patient and very kind and professional. I felt confident in what they were doing and in the end bought a beautiful new home. If I buy another home in San Diego, this is the company that I am going to call!

Patrick was as great of a loan officer as I could have hoped for. Before being referred to Fairway, I was planning on going through a mortgage lending business that my family had started, where I would have received incredibly favorable services and pricing. The seller of my property had requested that I use Fairway and after speaking with Patrick for the first 90 minute phone call, I was quite comfortable moving over to them, given his product and process knowledge. The more I worked with Patrick, the more I learned how communicative and available he is, at all times. If I ever had a question, he had the answer or found me someone that did. On top of all that, the rate and service time that I received from Fairway was on par with the significant friends and family treatment that I was going to receive at the other lending company. All in all, I will be going through Patrick again and I am strongly recommending that you do as well!

Patrick and his team were amazing with me. After having worked with a different lender, Patrick and Cole turned my bad experience into a great one. They never lead me to believe something was going to happen and they were always honest and straight forward with me. Their communication is great and they return calls or emails right away. They are proactive in getting everything that is needed done and ahead of time if possible. They made sure they tried everything they could to help me out. Although I had a hiccup (my fault) at the end, they were great and understanding of my inexperience with the process. As a new homebuyer the Sciutto team made the lending and homebuying process incredibly easy. Early on I had made the error of already looking at homes before being pre-approved, which made making timely offers a bit difficult. The Sciutto team, recommended to me by my realtor Scott Tafoya who knew Brian personally, moved quickly to not only get me pre-approved but also help break down my budget and what ultimately I could afford. As an independent company the Sciutto Team was able to be a bit more flexible and seemed to have my best interest in mind through the whole process. I worked at first with Trey Lake, who was extremely knowledgeable, always available, and always happy to answer any questions about a potential loan, what the monthly would be, and so on, and thoroughly explained the benefits of buying a house now vs. later. He even offered to drive a pie from San Diego nearly four hours after I jokingly lamented not being able to make the Thanksgiving pie giveaway, which I believe says everything about his commitment to customer service. I was pre-approved for a thirty-year conventional loan as a single individual, which was arguably the reason my offer was eventually accepted on a condo. After opening escrow I was immediately contacted by Jake Kludt on the Sciutto Team who was able to accommodate my schedule and expertly broke down the entire loan for me, which made knowing what my monthly payments would very simple. For closing, I worked with Ashley Benson who was incredibly helpful throughout the process. We had a few issues with the seller that eventually extended beyond our initial escrow period, and still Ashley was able to quickly accommodate this with little issue on the lender side. She made the stressful closing period very easy with weekly updates that kept me in the loop regarding any changes and was always available for any question, document, or issue that came up. The appraisal was scheduled and completed quickly and I was pleasantly surprised that once the loan was completed the closing team was able to get the paperwork done within a few hours, which lead to closing being finished within days. Overall, I was very satisfied to work with the Sciutto Team. The excellent customer service, great personalities, and willingness to explain and clarify any question really led me to actually enjoy going through the escrow process. Brian Sciutto himself would call me at least once a week to check in on my experience with the team, and at closing he was very clear that our relationship didn't end at closing but rather would continue through the life of the loan. With the great experience I've had so far this was great to hear, as I'm glad to continue to benefit from the professionalism of the Sciutto Team for the life of the loan. I definitely would recommend working with them!
