Junior was very very helpful, this is my first time financing a car and they talked to me and told me about everything that I was approved for and even when I called they told me that I could ask to see other cars from other locations to see if I could get approved for them it's was pretty easy and got to leave with a new car. I will be coming back to hopefully finance again and will recommend for people who are like me!

Do not waste your time nor money on this excuse for a company. In November of 2021 my boyfriend and I had purchased a car from the I-240 location. Despite the appalling interest rate of 20% everything was perfectly fine, including the customer service. Earlier this month (01/22) I refinanced my car for a better interest rate. Express Credit Auto had been completely payed off by my bank. On Friday as I was getting off of work my car would not start. They had activated the kill switch on the VLM system in my car. I was aware that the V system needs to be removed upon pay off; however there is no time limit listed to do so. I also work M-F 9-5 so getting to the warranty depart is incredibly difficult. No where in the terms and conditions signed does it state they may activate the kill switch after the car has been payed off. I had to tow my car home that night, which came to a $175 tow bill. They refused to pay the tow bill because of the “terms and conditions” ;however, the terms and conditions only states that “they are not responsible for a tow bill in conjunction with a warranty repair”. This is not a warranty repair issue but a very clear mistake on their part. This issue needs to be resolved.

For our current BHPH customers with a VLM, if your vehicle is paid off, the VLM has not been removed and the device beeps at you when you engage your vehicle to start, contact AAF for another code at 405-772-7777. Also contact our warranty department to set up an appointment for removal at 405-947-3120 for OKC and 918-591-2790 for Tulsa.

I loved the experience and my car! This was the first car I ever had, being 27 I was pretty excited! But as of today I can't stand this company! When people fall on hard times due to pandemic and other personal issues, don't expect them to care! They want there money and if not right then and there they turn your car off!! Single mom of 2 heart patients asking for a little help & they have left me without transportation.
We do payment deferrals for our customers all of the time and we are proud of the assistance we provide! Some of the reasons why someone may not receive a payment deferral is but not limited to, documentation and other sources is not provided to verify situation, excessive deferment requests, we do not defer first payments and many other reasons. Managing payment deferment requests and having to tell someone no is rarely meet with any customer understanding. I've read these reviews and the responses to them. I got a vehicle from them in August of 2020. Very shortly after, I started to have problems with it. I completely understand the difference between new and used vehicles. The issues that came with my car should have either been repaired before putting it on the lot or fixed when I brought it back in complaining about them. The customer service and public relations is a joke. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. It definitely comes off as though they receive absolutely no training in customer service and how to speak to people over the phone. This has been the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle. Furthermore for whomever it is in their company that responds to these reviews, based solely on reading their responses says alot of their character and how they care for their customers. If you are receiving bad reviews and the customers or customers representatives are speaking out on their negative experience you should really take that i to account and do what you can to 1. Make it right and 2. Make sure future customers dont have the same experience. Not ridicule them or try and turn it around as if they are in the wrong and Express Credit Auto and Auto Advantage Finance are just the absolute best and can do NO wrong. You know you are in the wrong by doing people as you do. A person should not have to feel such regret and discourse over purchasing a car to get back and forth to work, school and so on. Their is obviously a pattern here. Please address it. You'll have far more happier customers if you do so. Or continue the behavior and overtime build a negative reputation. I understand that change is one of the most difficult things we face but what worked five years ago may not work today.
Mr. Fitzwater- In reading over the notes in your account you have been communicating with both our warranty department and our account management department. In fact you have communicated with multiple people in our account management department over the last three days. You called into our account management department on 03/17/21 to say that our warranty department was refusing to fix your vehicle and refusing you service. When they tried to ask you questions to help you, you hung up. Our account manager then tried to facilitate things on their own and called warranty on your behalf. The warranty department had not spoken to you since Nov 2020. You finally did reach out to our warranty department on 03/18/21 and told them the issues that you were having. They offered to have your vehicle towed in to the shop at no cost to you and offered to waive the diagnostic charge for checking the vehicle out. You declined our assistance on both counts. In trying to collect your payment the account management department talked to you again today, 03/19/21. You brought up the fact that you cannot currently drive your vehicle because it is not running, they again told you what the warranty department had offered, you refused and instead chose to bring up the issue that you had with your vehicle when you first purchased it in Aug 2020. You then disconnected that call. Then you called back again and ask how to get out of your loan because the warranty department won't help you. You indicated that you are frustrated because you are afraid that what it will take to repair the vehicle will not be covered by warranty. Until the vehicle is examined we cannot say what is even wrong with it for sure so there is no way to know if it is covered. You then went further to say that you feel like everything that breaks down on a vehicle should always be covered or that ECA should just give you another vehicle to finish out your loan. When we tried to explain that is not how either loans or warranties work you got mad and told our customer service rep that they were rude and needed to reevaluate themselves. Our representative then tried to offer you additional assistance and tell you to let warranty look at the vehicle, find out what the cost to repair is (if any) and we would see how we could help. You then continued to call her rude, belittled her and started using profanity. From our perspective multiple departments have tried to offer you assistance. We do not by any means think that we are untouchable or that sometimes we may not make mistakes. However, what we will no longer do is allow customers to post reviews and try and paint a bad picture of us as a business because they do not get everything that they want or because they omit facts. You purchased a vehicle from us in August 2020. That vehicle had an issue shortly after purchase. It was fixed at no cost to you. You called in one other time in Nov 2020 with concerns but never actually brought the vehicle in for service. It is now March 2021 and you are saying that you still have an issue. We have offered help to you. We have offered to tow your vehicle. We have offered to waive diagnostic fees. We even offered to look further at your account to try and possibly help you overcome the cost of the repairs in addition to having to make your payment. There is not much else that we or any other business could do in a situation like this. Keep in mind that all of these things we are offering we are not obligated to do. We do them because we do care about our customers and are genuinely trying to help. It does us no good as a company if a customer is not happy with their vehicle, if the vehicle is not running or if the customer is unable to make their payment. You have spoken to multiple people in multiple departments. All have offered you help. I understand that taking the next step is hard, when you just want someone to make the entire problem go away for you but writing bad reviews when people have offered you help is not the way to go. At some point you have to help yourself. We have made the offer multiple times, it is now up to you.

Tommy was my sales associate at the okc south location. He was very nice and made the whole process very easy and what I really liked he was not pushy and was upfront and honest with me. I would definitely recommend anyone here to purchase a vehicle and ask for Tommy!

My experience with Express Credit Auto was the absolute best! They were quick, efficient, and hassle free. They offer low down payments, great warranty, and even additional insurance coverage for your vehicle if you need it. Andrew did a great job and did not waste any of my time. He made the process enjoyable and had me in my vehicle within a couple of hours. I even had to leave a couple of times and Andrew stayed in contact with me letting me know where they were in the process. So overall it was an amazing experience I would definitely recommend doing business with them!

I had an amazing experience today!!! I went to the dealership expecting to be disappointed because of my credit. I honestly did not think that I would have been driving home with a car today!!!! Henrico Hogan was so patient, and went above and beyond to get me the car I had my heart set on!!! The rest of the staff was also extremely pleasant!!!! I am SO pleased with the time and effort he spent!!!! I am now the proud owner of a beautiful car and will definitely be recommending my friends and family to him!!! They sold my friend a car with NAILS IN ALL 4 TIRES!!!! How do you miss that??? They clearly did not thoroughly inspect the car when it arrived on the lot. My friend even told me that the tire pressure light was on when he test drove it, and he informed the salesman, who then told him that he just needed to put air in the tires. Even if it was just regular low tire pressure, shouldn’t a dealership take of something minor like that? I have seen several other reviews of people talking about their cars having maintenance problems only weeks after the car was purchased. I understand that these cars are used, but there’s a fine line between “used” and “damaged”. I have had a used car for almost 3 years now, and it has only broken down once and had one tire replacement. There is no excuse for selling people cars that are in horrible condition, please inspect your cars more thoroughly!!!!
Ms. Conner- we would be very interested in the name of your friend so that we could look and see what vehicle he/she purchased. We DO NOT SELL vehicles in that condition. We run all of our vehicles through the service department before they are put out to sell. We ABSOLUTELY take care of tire pressure lights. Used cars do have problems from time to time. If they did not there would be NO need for technicians or repair facilities- they simply would not exist. Instead it is a lucrative industry in this country. We are not a typical sales lot that pushes cars out and once they get people to sign it is no longer their problem. Because we are a buy here pay here sales lot it is 100% in our best interest for the vehicles we sell to be in the best shape possible. The relationships that we have with our customers last for years, not minutes like most traditional car dealerships. We need to keep our customers in their vehicles in our to keep our business running. We gain absolutely nothing by doing anything else. We have been in business since 1996 and currently have thousands of active loans because we do exactly the opposite. Keep in mind that only people that are unhappy after the sale post reviews...so the thousands of happy customers that we have have nothing to say only the few exceptions. Congratulations on having a vehicle that has not had any issues- but I assure you that is rare. We also offer a 3 year/36000 mile limited warranty with every purchase- at our expense. Again if we were purposefully putting vehicles out there that had problems we would gain nothing by having to turn around and fix them with the warranty. The mentality that you are looking at this situation with is NOT OURS. Please have your friend send us their information directly so that we can get to the bottom of this issue. We do not do business this way.

This is probably the worst car place I have ever used I pay my payments on time and my car won't start most of the time like the starter is going out it runs hot in the summer I told the warranty company and they said they really don't know how to help me so please don't waist your time go somewhere else cause I will be doin the same.

I only gave five stars instead of six because I couldn’t get a fill up on the gas before I drove it off the lot. This was a very simple process. Joseph our salesman let us test drive as many cars as we needed to until we were happy. He even made a few suggestions that were cheaper just to save me a few bucks. If you come to the south side Express Credit make sure you ask for Joseph he won’t do you wrong. This was my second purchase with Express and both have been good.

Don't get a car here. If you fall on tough times, they won't work with you with payment arrangement for one payment. They don't care about anyone or their personal problems and just want money.. I suggest the key 100% becu they will work with you on payment arrangements.

I purchased a car from express credit auto and will be paying $20000 for it. After 3 months of buying it I can’t tell you how man things have gone wrong with it. This should not happen for the money I am paying for it. It’s very hard to get in contact with my salesmen I purchased the car from but before buying it I was contacted by him at least once a week. Maybe I should wait to post this review but I’ve just had terrible service. I hate to throw this in the face as well but after Covid-19 hit I was unable to make a payment and after a week they proceeded to turn off my car with the capabilities they have which was disturbing to say the least. I hope that things turn around. I thought the salesmen was a nice enough guy but $20000 for a car that’s already falling apart after three months sucks. They are very hard to work with when your even just a few days late.

First I'm sold a vehicle with no brake pads. Then when I tell the finance department I had to purchase suspension for the vehicle they did nothing but ask if that was gonna keep me for paying for the raw deal that they left me with!!!!! Updated 08/23/2021 I've had this vehicle for over a year since then I've poured over $4k into it, I hope and pray for a miracle because it's just spurrting along and when I called their warranty department they gave me their repair shop that you can have you're car towed to auto shop to be ripped off more. Total scam 😒

I'm trying to use the insurance that they have been charging me for. When I first called I was told I could drop it off and get a loaner vehicle so I drove all the way from enid to do just that. However once I arrived I was told they don't give one out until the claim is settled and the repairs are approved. So I told them to start the process and I drove it back home. Then they called me and said they were approved and when I asked about a loaner they said they didn't have any and they would call at the beginning of the next week when they would have some however that call never came. So I was forced to drop it off with out a loaner. I called them this morning to get a time line and they said that the parts may have not even been ordered yet even though the claim was approved nearly 2 weeks ago. They said they would call me back when they find out about the parts but that never happened either. I need a loaner if my car is going to take this long. This is awful customer service.

If you are having credit problems you should give express credit auto a chance. Adam made my experience easy. I uploaded all my documents he told me what was possible and even got me a better apr than what he quoted me. As soon as i got there he had the car i wanted ready for me to test drive. I did wait a little longer than expected but he kept me informed. Adam is the man to see! Thank you again in a car i wanted and now have a way from A to B.

Evan was totally kick butt. He got me in a really awesome car and was very patient with me. Got me in and out had some issues the first week they came and got the vehicle and got it fixed in a quick manner and also waived the tow and deductible fees on account of how long I had the vehicle. I DO RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHOS FINANCES MAY BE A LITTLE TIGHT!

My grandpa was looking for a new truck after he had a bad van from joe cooper they helped us get in the truck that he wanted . I did take a bit long but that was due to us not having the paperwork we need they were all great and made sure we were happy before we left . I would highly recommend them. When I first purchased the car there wasn't a problem, now not only is Joesph never available or at the office to answer questions, but their insurance company never answers a phone and keeps telling me the information my insurance provider gave them isn't "good enough" so now they are charging me an extra $28 a month because I "have no proof of insurance". If you want a good experience and reliable customer service and to pay a decent price DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I will never purchase another vehicle here again after my car is paid off!

This place is a total joke. “Email us @ wecare blah blah blah” emailed 4 times now have yet to receive a response. Since mid October. Tried to call multiple different actual stores and customer service, never receive an answer to my problems/questions. Sure it’s easy to get a car here when you have credit issues but that’s about the only good thing you’ll get, i promise you that. Try somewhere else.

Edited one year later. The AC in my car went out. I called the warranty department to have it repaired. The only shop you are allowed to use is in OKC. I live over 2 hours from the shop. I was informed that they are a drop off only location and that they’re required 24 hour to diagnose the vehicle. I tried to make an appointment so the car could be evaluated while I was in the city and a loaner car requested so I did not have to drive to OKC two days in a row. They staff (Eric and Sarah) in the warranty department did not even pretend like they could accommodate me. Terrible customer service! I tried speaking with the finance department and even called my sales agent. Eventually they quit answering the phone. Real professional! Edited one year later. Great place!! Billy was helpful and polite. The car was just as advertised! Thanks!
We are sorry that you feel this way. But, our Warranty claims must go through our Warranty Department in OKC or Tulsa. Calling other departments that have nothing to do with customer repairs is not the way to go. Loaner cars are not guaranteed for anyone. When a loaner is provided, only for repairs that will take a week or more. With some other limitations & requirements. Anyone that knows Eric and Sarah at our OKC Warranty dept., knows that they do not have a rude bone in their body. When customers don't like our policies, does not mean our employees are being rude. This was my second car that I've gotten through Express Credit Auto. They really go the distance for you. My first one was totaled out due to the hail storm in Norman. Friday I drove away in the car I had wanted for years. They made sure to get me in it. Richie was my salesman. And he was simply amazing. Mike, the manager continually worked hard with the finance company to make sure I got approved for my Nissan Altima. It takes some time to get through all the paperwork etc etc. So make sure you have several hours to spend up there. But it'll be well worth your wait. They are amazing people and really do care.

They were nice. Process is long. Expect to be up there for 4 hrs or more, and don't expect to find a car there under $600 a month unless you have amazing credit or plan on getting a junker. Car selection is nice and they offer a 3 yr 36k mile warranty. They say they don't go off your credit but I have 2 hard inquiries on mine from them. They do work with bad credit so that's a plus. They put those gadgets in your car to turn it off if you're late on your payment, which is due whenever you get paid, be it weekly, bi weekly or monthly. Don't go in there with any less than $1,500 as a down payment just for a car, trucks are probably twice that. Long gone are the days you could go to a dealer with $500 down and walk out with payments under $400 🙄 there's a used car shortage right now so everyone is charging 3x as much as they used to.
Thanks for the review. Unfortunately, like you said, there is a used car shortage nationwide right now. All dealers are having to charge more but to be clear we are not making more money, in fact we are probably making less. The prices that we are paying for the vehicles is higher due to the shortage. We not seen anything like this in our 25 years in business. That is why, temporarily, you will see a few less vehicles on our lots. Unlike some dealers, we refuse to buy up all the inventory that is out there and charge even higher prices to our customers. Like you said we do provide a 3 year 36,000 mile limited warranty at no additional cost to the customer so when you are having to deal with those higher prices that is definitely a positive takeaway. As far as credit goes, we do check credit, however, our approvals are not based solely on credit. I will never buy a car from this place again and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. They were real polite and treated me very nice but once I bought the car I have had nothing but trouble with them. They took 2 payments out if my check 1 payday. When I brought it to there attention they would refund part of it but they were going to charge me a $50 processing fee for there mistake. They were late getting me my title. I was stopped 1 day after my tag went out and thank God the Norman police officer only gave me a warning. If that wasn't enough, I had told them when I bought the car who referred me. The sales person filled out the papers. They told us that we would have to go online and fill that out. We have jumped through all the hoops that they have been telling us for 4 months. They always had an excuse. Now they are telling us that it is too late and she will not be receiving her $100.00 credit. Once they get your money they do not stand behind their word. I give them an "F" rating and will not be buying another vehicle from them. Just warning everyone what you will be dealing with if you make the same mistake I did! Kathleen Himes

Horrible nightmare that never goes away. This place sold me a lemon. Multiple issues with the vehicle and eventually I called them to come get it. I was a single mother and they took advantage of me since I walked in the door. Took 2 months for them to come get the car. 2 months of it sitting the the driveway with the keys in it. Each call, I told them to come get it. The transmission went out and there was no way to fix it AND the outrageous monthly payment they wanted from me. I had already replaced numerous other problems I had since driving off the lot- such as the leaking radiator, etc. these people just want money- at any means they can get. They sold the vehicle and I was left with $8000 owed to them. Sounded reasonable. Oh no.... now it’s over $17,000 for a car that wasn’t worth $1000.... oh and they got my trade in... don’t go to this place of business. Update- I see that you replied to my review with your records indicate a different experience haha! Yeah I bet. How about review the recorded calls...

When I first called Express Credit Auto Jose was very helpful we talked for days and I had my mind set on one type of car... Unfortunately I was not approved for the amount of this car... He politely offered me everything else he had available I n my price range!! All of which I politely turned down =) ... A few weeks later I came into Express by accident and he happened to have a car for me within my price range he was very helpful and honest with me during this whole process. Upon finding the vehicle I worked with Lori she was also very helpful! She went above & beyond to work with me and keep the vehicle within terms I could manage! Don’t go to this car lot I only had my car for a week before it broke down and I took it to the warranty department and they couldn’t even fix it. Had to take it to a different car shop to get looked at and was 5 days late on my payment and they turned my car off yeah it’s a cool lot for only a down payment of $250 but please go somewhere else if you really need a vehicle to get you from point A to B or you will really put your self in a hole if you go to this place

Grand daughter bought a vehicle 7 months ago and still hasnt received registration, title, still have the 30 day paper tag!!!!! Her and her husband have been pulled over numerous times and the police were going to impound the car and they would never be able toget it outbecause they have no registration or title and yes Express Credit Auto on I 240 keep putting them off with excuses of it must of got lost in the mail, we are sending it late because of covid, we're closed and they are open!!!!! Something is fishy here people, talking to a lawyer and either returning the vehicle because i am paying the payments but still cant prove the vehicle is theirs!!!! Everyone was super nice before you buy, receiving replies back with in a few hours on questions. As soon as you buy all that is out the window. I bought the car about 20 minutes before closing on a Friday. My key fob did not work and I was told they would fix it the next day. When I brought it in they said I would have to talk to there warranty department. 3 business days later and I still have not heard from them and when I call I am only able to leave a voicemail. That’s not even the worst part not a full 24 hours of having the car it shuts off While I’m driving. I talk to them and they said I have to talk to the warranty department. Which is $100 each time. I can not get any return calls, my sales person is no longer there. Customer service is great before but as soon as you sign, you don’t exist .

We was promised they could help us get in a vehicle after discussing everything over the phone first due to the fact that we were driving 4 hours one way to get there. Long story short, we got there got denied after driving all that way even after I provided everything they wanted including a down payment, and was rejected like it wasnt nothing. We wasted gas, time, and money!! If I could give negative NO stars I would. Besides that people look closely at them vehicles, most have been wrecked and repainted!!!
