Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) Reviews

After visiting this location, I understand why they have two stars. I have been with Bank of America for 6 years. I was treated with 0 respect and no customer service at this location. They had no idea how to get through their insane lines with any grace or compassion. I was not Sked how I was today and the woman that was supposed to be helping me was beyond miserable and displayed every ounce of frustration with her day. Busy or not. I expect more from BofA

First I would like to say I wish I could give negative 5 stars. Anyway I just started with BOA and there online is ok but this branch, corporate should FIRE everyone and rehire staff that actually wants to work. I had a very important meeting the next day out of state and just transferred ALL my money to my new account at BOA. The branch manager made several mistakes to my account and I had NO access to my money. I was at the branch hours before closing and they made it worse and when I realized it couldn't be fixed over the phone I had to run back to the branch which closed at 4pm. I arrived at 4:02pm, people were still in the branch but the doors were locked. The manager came to the door and I told him about there mistake and that I need them to fix it because I have No access to my money. The head manager mr. reyes couldn't care less. He said come back tomorrow, I said my flight leaves before the bank opens again he couldn't care less. I even spoke to the assistant manager and the same thing, cold eyes no empathy, they just wanted to go home. They basically treated me the same as if I ran over there dog. It was a horrible, unprofessional, disrespectful, COLD experience. I am looking forward to going back to the branch so I can show them the same respect they showed me.

They never have enough tellers. This Saturday line was double wrapped in the lobby and they did not have the drive through open. There other location is the same way. Why is bank of America like this?
We appreciate you coming in. You may be able to save time at the financial center by using an ATM, enrolling in direct deposit or by using online/mobile banking. Signing up for the mobile app is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/

We've been with this bank for years unfortunately. Absolutely the slowest service I've ever received at a bank. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME! We've lived out of state and have dealt with many banks. Be prepared for a long wait whether in the drive-thru or in the lobby. The only reason I tolerate it is that it beats dealing with my Ex to close the account. :-P Also, why not extend your hours past 4pm? Maybe lines would be shorter and your customers would be better served.

Literally, save yourself the hassle and bank ANYWHERE else. I have never waited as long as I have (in line here) at any other bank. It’s insane. I have to come here to do deposits for work, otherwise I would never come back. I have never been able to be helped immediately. I have come at various times through the day. It doesn’t matter. They’re always busy and never enough help. One lane in drive thru with 7 cars waiting. The staff is slow and not friendly. I almost never have anyone say anything through the speakers in the drive thru. I have waited over 45 minutes in line to just make a deposit. It’s excruciating and has consistently been terrible. It’s pretty sad there are so many negative comments about it here and clearly corporate doesn’t care to fix it... shows how little they care about the customer.

Seems like this branch doesn’t care about customers, 20 ppl in line, 1 teller, take avg 10mins for one. Worst

I go to this bank several times a week for the company I work for and the line is always slow and no matter how long it gets, I have never seen more than 2 tellers at a time. The line is normally 8-12 people deep no matter what time of day or day of the week I've come. If there is a different branch/bank you can use you would probably be much happier.

Bank of America is the worst bank to use. Whatever you do, do not use Bank of America. I have had nothing but issues since I opened the account. I am paying off a BOA CC and I can’t pay it off online, I can’t pay it off over the phone and the bank closes at 4pm M-F. How about those hours? This bank will be the biggest mistake you ever make. Please close this company down. They have the worst fees and rates. They do not care about their clients. And I say they because I have gone to multiple branches, and they were all horrible.

Absolutely AWFUL. Here for 2 weeks on business. Went in to cash a check that was drawn at this branch!! Before getting past the front door, I was harassed by a manager telling me that they would not be able to cash the whole amount which was $75.00 and that there would be an $8 “convenience” fee because I’m not cashing it at my personal bank which happens to be out of state. 13% to cash a check at a bank???!!!!! Mind you, a personal check not a payroll check made out by a computer or accountant, personal from the business owner himself!! After asking why $8 the manager explains to me that “their bank does not offer the service of cashing checks for non-existing customers even if it is their check” and that they would have to verify the account. Last time I checked, people cash checks drawn on that bank so they don’t have to wait several days for it to be deposited into their bank account!! Common sense right??!! While waiting for almost 45 minutes to speak with a bank president, the manager who harassed me coming in stopped everyone who came in and asked why they were there and what they needed. 2 of BOA own customers were turned away before even getting to the line. One woman on a cane was practically chased down by the manager wanting to know why she was there.. 1st strike- VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... while speaking with the branch president, he very rudely told me that “everyone does it nowadays and it’s the norm”. Not my bank or several others I could name. Then he added that, “Your employer should’ve have written the check out for 8 dollars more then”. So basically, in a span of ten minutes with him, I and my employer were insulted and educationally degraded, 2nd strike. 3rd and most important, when asked several more times what the “processing and convenience fee” entailed, I was told “I’ve explained it, I don’t know what more you want?” I have a theory, the $8 goes to the bonuses at the end of the year for the presidents and to keep the lights turned. No wonder BOA is barely treading water just like Wells Fargo and Chase who are in the same position of going under as BOA is. Conclusion: BOA should be BOC, Bank of Communism, in which it’s nice to look at the stuff that you think is yours, but it’s really not. Also, I wouldn’t trust a bank that also has a Meryl Lynch office inside their branches. Will never return and HIGHLY recommend banking with someone who actually cares about the customers because after all, it is “THEIR” money!!!!

The absolute trashiest bank, I have ever dealt with. They refuse temporary checks and money orders, absolutely first bank out of 20+ years of dealing with banks to ever have this policy. They are also stealing money and constantly readjusting transactions to fit their narrative. Don't waste your time.

It's unfortunate you have to leave a star to comment because they deserve zero stars from me. So glad I don't bank with this company. Tried to deposit my rent in my landlord account with cash and was treated as if my cash had no value and was told in order to make a deposit it had to be a check or money order. Never heard such thing. I send my husband with cash all the time to deposit in my account and he isn't even in my account and never have had any trouble with my bank. Just awful customer service also.
Hello Kelly. We no longer accept third party cash deposits to consumer accounts, we do accept checks. You must be an account owner or authorized user on the account to make a cash deposit. You can use Mobile and Online Banking to send money to others by using just their mobile phone number or email address. Thank you. ^susan

Worst service EVER! Oklahoma City, Western Avenue. I flew into town to assist my 87-year-old mother and went to the bank to remove my deceased fathers name from the safe deposit box. Simple right? I only wish! They seemed to have a disconnect on their own process and now I can’t get anyone to fix. They told her she could take the stuff out of the box and go to another bank since they only have the larger (more expensive) boxes.

I’m not rating this Branch, I’m rating the bank institution itself. I used them for both my businesses and have been hit with excessive fees. Their mobile app I guess isn’t accurate and doesn’t reflect your actual account balance even though it says it does. I was hit for multiple insufficient funds fees when I had enough money in my account to cover any and all charges. They hit me for 4 insufficient fund fees even though my account showed to have enough funds until they took their fees . And when I called to dispute they came up with some lame excuse as if it was my fault I should’ve not relied on what mobile app says. Even though it matches my statement. Take your banking needs elsewhere, this place will rob you and take advantage of you. And customer service is useless.

I dont know if all Bank of America branches are this bad, but this branch did not even work on Fridays! Who ever heard of a bank that doesn't work on a Friday?? Now it seems like they have updated their hours, but how do they expect to support working people when they are only open until 4pm? And then, literally every time you go to the ATM because they are not working, their ATM says it is not accepting cash at this time. Worst experience at a banking branch I have ever had and they seem to leave their customers stranded more often than not with subpar service. It's just unfortunate that the BoA branches in the OKC area are so sparce that I'm forced to use this one. But at times, it has even been worth it to drive to a different one to get better service.

Good luck getting anyone here to ever answer the phone. It made me give them a star to write this.

I have been calling BOA for days now. I have called three separate locations back to back and still no answer. The first day I called, I was able to reach someone and she referred me to a home loan specialist. I spoke to the guy that day and saved his number in my phone. Ever since then, neither he or BOA will answer their phones. I have left a message for the guy to return my phone call. Only reason I am still pursuing is because of the grants to buy a house through BOA, otherwise I would never deal with them. I always knew they were trash and has never recommended them but this makes it a done deal.
