Applied for a home loan in early April but the loan officers have gradually become less and less professional and poor timely communication. We sent them all the paperwork but then they contacted us on Monday about one still missing. We sent it and waited to hear if back from them about it coming in or not. On Thursday, they send a nasty and horrifically unprofessional email to our realtor about them trying to emailed and call us those last few days and we have “not been fully transparent”! The previous three days were silent on their end. After they officially retained all of the paperwork, now they demand 35% down on a house we only agreed to pay 15% down on. This is 2 days before close. At first we agreed be then got a text from the loan officer, “where is the other 20K coming from? Are you counting your mom’s money? Cause that is still not enough?” How unprofessional is that? On Friday, they move the close date back again because “the buyers refused to send all the paperwork in a timely manner”! If they had informed us on Tuesday that they had not received the paper as we asked them to, we could have closed on the previously agreed date.

Avoid at all costs even if they offer a 0% loan. I just paid off a car loan, but it was reported to the credit bureaus as delinquent with $0 balance due. This happened a month ago and I thought they would correct it, but I took a credit hit of nearly 35 points. Long time FAA federal employees who used FAA Employees Credit Union (ECU) are now leaving True Sky Credit Union. Reports of mistakes in billing, home mortgage errors, excess fees, and identity theft are occurring with FAA federal employees. Original FAA ECU employees at True Sky are great and helpful, but as a corporate entity leaves much to be desired.

My family has been a member for many many years and when True Sky took over FFA this credit union has gone down hill. Just looked at my account and found charges dated October 2021 that they say are mine but have no proof and cannot offer any information about the charges such as the location of the vendor. Gave no heads up that these charges were found and that they planned on withdrawing from my account just took it upon themselves to have free access to my account. Called to inquire and was told oh yea we found multiple charges from multiple members that were never posted so we are collecting them now ??? The lady answering the phone is working from home and messaged a supervisor who refused to speak to me because it was 12:01 on a Saturday and she was off the clock although I made the call long before 12:00. The only thing she told the customer service rep to tell me is they have 6 months to withdraw from your account after they say you made a transaction and she can call you Monday..really??? No proof, no location of the transaction to see if the merchant is near my house ?? Nothing...worst customer service ever...not to mention they double charged my account last month on an automatic withdraw I have set up and I had to jump through hoops to get that reversed. Needless to say I will be closing my account asap.

This company does not deserve one star. But had to put one star to be able to post. Been a member all my life but will be canceling all accounts asap. Once TrueSky took over from FAA the customer service and changes to the credit union have been awful. For example I made an appointment for a notary and that appointment was confirmed. When I show up to the credit union for my appointment the credit union was closed due to weather. While it is great to let your employees leave early for safety purposes you would think it would be wise to call the customers or send an email stating that TrueSky will need to cancel and reschedule the appointment. When expressing my frustration with not receiving a cancellation notice to the Edmond manager he did not care or apology. You would think a manager representing TrueSky would be able to say I am sorry that happened to you. But I received a condescending attitude instead. So if you want to be treated with disrespect and terrible customer service this is the place for you.

I've been with this credit union for years. My family used this bank for years. I came in to get a car loan, the *only reason* they wouldn't give it was because I missed one payment almost 5 years ago with a different bank. 🙄 I'll be finding a new bank and letting my family and friends know my poor experience.

Terrible customer service and very rude. Avoid Carrisa at all costs. She rudely told me to change banks after not making an appt with them, which I was not aware of because of a snow day.. no worries I will be moving my 3 accounts to include my business account. She cares more about her power trip than your customer experience. ✌️

I initially left a scathing review over the weekend. I will say TSCU reached out to me on Monday and listened to my concerns intently for about 30 minutes. They have acknowledged their shortcomings and have made assurances on their service standards and to improve. Prior to my call I reached out to TSCU about a new loan. I was able to get a real person quickly and get the business taken care of. For that I am raising my rating to a "4".

Worst bank ever! Tried to walk in not knowing you had to have an appt, Carisa was very hateful. Thankfully some other girl offered to help and apologized for how hateful Carissa was being for no reason. I no longer want to bank here. I would like to bank where my experience is pleasant. Before this no one seems to even know what they are doing through the drive through. It’s always so frustrating to go to the bank at this place. Taking our business somewhere els.

Been a customer for 10 years. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and the service. Waited three days for a call back about a mishap on our account. The lady we needed to talk to was Darla and she was always on lunch ( at 2pm) or in a meeting. My husband ended up going up there and NOTHING GOT RESOLVED! True Sky literally sucks.

Went from my favorite bank to one of the worst banks in OKLAHOMA CITY.. I can SEE why all the reviews on here have changed drastically.. to a 5 star now down almost below a 2.. Poorly managed ‼️ NEVER more than 1 teller even after they’re remodel to have tills.. EVERY teller seems confused and can barely count my deposits correctly , I mean the list goes on & on. Working this year to REMOVE EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH..

What can I say, not everyone is going to leave credit unions 5 star reviews because it affects peoples money and livelihood but I can say I’m pretty impressed with True Sky so far. They got my wife a 2.9% interest rate on a 2018 Mazda CX5 and we honestly couldn’t be happier. As long as you’re an adult and make your payments early or on time, True Sky is good to go. They also have an app for making car payments a no hassle process. I have a high interest rate with Navy Federal right now and I plan to refinance with True Sky very soon.

I live out of state and when I needed to withdraw money from my share account I would go online (use to have to call before internet) and do a check to myself. Well they said they mailed it and after two weeks I called to say I never received it. Spent an hour on the phone with them and filled out several forms that they emailed to me. After over a dozen phone calls and over a year later I finally got my money. I have been a member since 1974 and when they went from FAA CU to True Sky everything started going down hill and it has been very noticeable. I am in the process of closing my account.

This is the worst bank. I have been a member for almost 10 years and this morning in order to cash a payroll check. They made me state my full name, account number, scan my ID and wouldn’t let me deposit my check until they demanded a date I would make my June 1st car payment. Just found out they lied about how much my car payment was also. Was told it was $126 and turns out it’s actually $181. So even though I paid my payment a month early, it wasn’t enough and now I have a late fee. DO NOT USE THIS BANK, RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a member of this credit union since 1999 under its former name FAA ECU and considered it one of the finest credit unions in the state. Since becoming True Sky credit union, everything I liked about it has disappeared and I will be closing my accounts as soon as possible. Want to talk to someone? In the past year I have waited on hold over an hour when I needed help. Free checking or savings? I have been nickle-and-dimed for everything from not using their atm's, to paying a monthly fee for refusing to allow paperless billing. They swear it has always been this way but our accounts tell a different story. Additionally, two members of my family had late charges applied to their loan payments despite missing no payments and being on time. This took two months, numerous phone calls, and alot of frustration before it was resolved for us, even longer for my other family member. It is sad to see a historically great institution being run into the ground under its current leadership/re-branding/incarnation. See the recent reviews? I am not alone....

At True Sky u have to have an appointment to use lobby. When u open a checking account they do not give u a debit card, but a credit card. I have been standing outside to just get a few dollars. Branch manager, was rudly nice. I had to stand outside to get my money.closing account BET!

Well I see why True Sky has the rating it does. First of all, the buildings are beautiful! but the service does not match. I opened an account with the thought of giving True Sky a chance, and I have been disappointed ever since. I'm sorry that I cannot recommend this Credit Union to anyone, but I would keep shopping. The rates are not worth the hassle, and I value my time to greatly.

I have been a member for years and I used to get service at this bank. I have financed multiple vehicles and signature loans through the years, with all paid in full with no payments ever late. I tried just the other day to get a loan on a handicapped van for my wife and got such a run around and wasted so much time with a bank that I have worked with for years. They must hire people off the streets to be loan specialist these days! Terrible service!

They've gone down hill so much this past year. Can no longer DocuSign agreements with them, which makes it so hard for me to do business with them since I live outside of OK. They are now changing fees for wire transfers and 10 dollars to use your debit card anywhere. It's like their goal is to run this CU in the ground

Getting account information on the phone has become a real mess. Their security question process changes with the wind. It went from ss#, account, name... To acc#, name, ss#, or bypass code word... Now it's address, acc#, name, ss#, mother's maiden name, email address, and code word... The code word was designed to bypass this nightmare, to begin with, That has now become an irrelevant tool for identification... What's in store for next week's question and answer segment of true sky's who am I, is anybody's guess. Maybe your medical history, dog's name, first car, or favorite actor, will be up for consideration.
