Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley - Nazareth N Main St, Nazareth

We recently opened a checking account at Embassy Bank of the Lehigh Valley. (We bank at the Nazareth branch.) We have been extremely impressed with the customer service which is personal and conscientious. During the pandemic, we have witnessed and been exhausted by countless institutions/businesses in which the quality of service has plummeted to a shockingly low/non-existent level. This makes it all the more impressive how excellent the service is at Embassy. It is wonderful to have a truly local bank to bank at and support. Thank you for a clearly unwavering dedication to old-fashioned, caring, thorough service. In a time of immense stress and frustration, you are providing an oasis of competence, efficiency, and quality.

Embassy is a great bank with exceptional customer service and an old style feel with the services provided. Tellers are always friendly. Very well run local bank.

I gave this bank another opportunity based on it being a small, local bank. I'm sorry it's still a joke. Have an email from them stating Apple Pay would be available in January 2019 after being promised for a year. January comes and I was told it's been pushed back to the end of the first quarter. There daily spending limit on their debit card is significantly lower than almost every one else, $1300. So if want to make an impulse buy over $1300 on a Saturday at 1:00pm you can forget it because they have ZERO customer service between 12pm Saturday and 9:00am Monday. For example, Santander Bank's daily spending limit is $9000. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a bank I really wanted to like this bank but from a technology stand point they seem to be stuck in the 90's. Can't use their debit card with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Android Pay. Website has no detail as you can't click on a transaction to view any specifics about that transaction. On top of this when you sign up initially for online banking, they actually mail you a password. That's mail, not email. It's like a bank for senior citizens.

Very down to earth and friendly... In Nazareth Easton is a different story, if I rated Easton they would get a negative 5

We LOVE Embassy Bank! Everyone at our hometown branch knows us, and they are so friendly. Their personalized service is top notch. I highly recommend Embassy to anyone who needs a bank.
