Friends and family recommended them to me. They are wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. They were straightforward in the diagnosis of my car, had pictures and broke down all the issues that were significant and also suggested preventive maintenance actions. Gave me an estimate and we even had phone conversation about everything so I understood and could ask questions. Highly knowledgeable, great service, definitely recommend

I live in update NY and was down visiting my parents in Pennsylvania when my transmission decided to break down. My experience with Dave Automotive was professional and welcoming. They diagnosed and fixed my car fast. It's too bad they don't have a location up here! My only one recommendation is to add a payment option after services are approved by the customer so they don't have to call to make the payment or come in to make the payment.

Dave's Auto does an excellent job of repairing my car. My car always drives so much better after they work on it and there's never any reoccurring problems once they fix any issues. Brian, the customer service representative, is very polite and helpful. A great place to take your car!!!

They do great work and because I only live a block away they come for my car, get it out of my garage, perform their excellent work and then return it to my garage. They are a true blessing! Very convenient as they pick up and drop off your car. Findings and costs are texted to your phone to approve or not approve. Great communication as any questions are answered precisely with specifics. Pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Transmission oil replaced they did some research find out why my car didn’t have any acceleration. They found the problem and gave recommendation on how to fix. constant communication with me. I gave them five stars!!!!

The team behind the counter were fantastic. So courteous and kind. The techs that I came in contact with were all smiles and each went out of their way to say hello. Was this really happening or was it a dream? Because I’ve never felt so good about paying for car service. But I’m happy to have given it to this team of professionals. They earned it.

Dave's Automotive staff is always polite and courteous. They do a great job of helping me keep my car maintained in great shape. They don't make me wait too long to bring the car in and get the job done quickly. The last time I was there for an oil change and inspection, they found the transmission lines were rusted and leaking. They always call first and let me know what they recommend fixing. If they had missed that, I would've eventually been in for a massive repair bill for my transmission. They also send out coupons for discounts on their services. In short they do a wonderful job!

Dave's Automotive at 114 Main Street in Stockertown, PA did an amazing job and provided great service on April 27, 2021. They offered great convenience and no hassle service and pricing. Dave's is super professional in all that they do. The Customer Service end was fabulous from my call to schedule service right though to paying for the service. I utilized the free service of picking you up at home to retrieve your car. They were at my door in under 5 minutes from telling me the car was completed. The pricing is very competitive with others and mostly less expensive than what I have paid previously. I can't say enough about their overall service. Try them, you won't be disapointed!

Got an emission and inspection service done here. Excellent service. They gave me a breakdown of everything needed to be serviced on my car. Didn't even have to get on the phone with anyone. They sent me a link to the list. I will be using them in the future.

Had a great experience with Dave's Automotive. I live in Vermont and was interested in a Jeep near Dave's and asked if they could pick up the Jeep, inspect it and return it to the dealership. They happily did this for me (the day after a huge snowstorm) at a great price. Very happy with their service.

First time using Daves. Needed annual inspection on my truck and wanted to find someone local to do it. They got me scheduled right away, and even accommodated me after having to cancel my appointment last minute due to work. I received a text saying my service was complete and I could view the inspection report and pay right then with a link. They even dropped my truck off at my home. I dont know what else they could have done to make this more convenient. The price was fair, no greasy handprints on the truck and everything done within the time they said. I would use them again in the future.

I have been taking my cars to Dave's for years. As a single woman who knows next to nothing about cars, it is extremely important to me to be able to feel confident I am not being taken advantage of. I have never had to take the car back because something wasn't done right. The work has always been done on time. And even when I tell them to do whatever is needed, they only do what is necessary! This is a GREAT automotive shop. I highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Dave's Automotive for an inspection for my son's vehicle, as well as an oil change and new tires. We were able to get an appointment quickly, they serviced the vehicle promptly, and even worked with us to expediate the tire change, knowing that we were leaving that day for a long drive. Their software/text system for vehicle inspection (complete with photos) was very efficient and helpful. This was our first experience with Dave's, which we found by reading other reviews, and we were impressed. Highly recommended.

I dropped off my car for inspection and oil change. I was driven home until the repairs were completed. They then picked me up when my car was ready. This service makes it easy to have my car worked on and sets Dave's above the rest for service and customer appreciation.

Still impressed by the level of Customer Care provided by the team at Dave’s Automotive! The diagnosis regarding some of my concerns about my vehicle’s operating condition came much later in the day, on this particular visit. This has not been their norm, so it did give me pause…. Even so, the level service was good, and I’m appreciative of the courtesy transportation provided by Jack & Bob!

They even go the extra mile and will pick up/drop off your vehicle within a 7 mile radius. For me that was such a huge bonus with my work schedule.

I had called and made an appointment a few weeks before. When I dropped my car off for inspection and an oil change, they didn't have a record of my appointment, but they still were able to fit me in and get my car back to me that same day. I like the ability to see my invoice and pricing through their text message links, before the work is done. And their notification system is actually pretty great. Overall, great value, a little more expensive than some, but not outrageous. I would use them again for services.

They had impeccable service, a friendly and honest staff who worked hand in hand with our claims adjuster to ensure we got the most out of our claim. I’ve used Dave’s for a while now and have always been impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Recently I had the oil changed and the tires rotated. During the tire rotation one of the wheel studs broke, which can be a costly repair, but in a very professional manner Dave’s took full responsibility and is repairing the wheel at no cost. Always courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, flexible, and take the time comb through vehicles condition without taking advantage or fixing things that were not authorized or needed. They post the results quickly, detailing the work done, possible future problems, and take advantage of a comprehensive iphone/email platform which is easy to grasp and non-intrusive. The work they do is excellent. One satisfied customer!

Great place! Had a leaking tire repaired. Have had other work done in the past as well. Was in and out quickly at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate to make this your "go to" car place. They are very thorough and upfront with pricing.

Dave's Automotive was very helpful to me during a quick visit during the summer after I had purchased a used Audi and a code light came on. They diagnosed for me and gave me some pointers on what to do. Even though they couldn't fix the vehicle then, I told them I would definitely be back for service on the Audi - they had earned a customer just for their caring and guidance. I took my car in for an oil change and brake check and they went over the entire vehicle, sent a complete report which I could review, and made recommendations. I am very happy I found them. Ten Stars plus in my book Post note:. Two years later and all family cars go to Dave's for everything. We don't trust anyone else. Minor or major problems, they are always willing to speak with you and give you their best advice. You get a clear estimate of what needs to be done and you choose the services you need at that time. They have worked on our Audi, Hummer, Range Rover and Saturn Sky. If I could give them 20 stars I would.

First time using Dave’s Automotive. I’ve heard from many people that they were a reliable garage so instead of spending an arm and a leg at a dealer ship I went here. The customer service was fantastic I have to say, I dropped my car off and it was that. When making my appointment on the phone I specifically told them a couple things that I knew where gonna need fixed. One being a wheel bearing and the other was my heat shield was loose and kept hitting my muffler. I was so excited to get in my car and not hear a humming noise or the sound of a Tin can in the back of my car. I got my car back and the humming was gone but that annoying “tink” in the back seemed to keep its place. So I was not so happy about that but they did replace my gas cap so it now hangs again, didn’t ask them to do that but they did it anyway. Kinda wish they did that for my heat plate that’s all.

I have taken my cars to Dave’s for 40-plus years and have never had a problem. They’re true professionals who always diagnose the problem, fix it and charge a fair price. But just as important is trust — I can always trust them.
