Elga Credit Union is exceptional. Many locations to serve their members, live teller ATM, live chat feature on the app, mobile banking and the best point system to redeem for gift cards or other needs. Elga also has very low rates for overdraft and their team members are the very BEST. Also, I would like to point out that Elga really has my back! One time I did something very out of the ordinary and my card was very temporarily turned off. I immediately received a call or text I'm not sure which, but I was put on the phone with someone from Elga. I verified myself and while it could be seen as an inconvenience to some, it took literally under about 7 minutes from the time I was trying to use my card until I spoke to a rep and had it turned back on. That really made me feel good that my money is safe! I've NEVER had a financial institution do anything like that and I was glad they did! Especially since it was cleared up immediately. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Elga and I highly suggest them to everyone. Also, I like that because Elga is a credit union, members have a say in what goes on. Couldn't be happier, been with them for years!

Great service. He answered every question I needed answered and gave me everything I wanted with no problem. Will definitely be ELGA full member after while!

Got an auto loan through LaFontaine at Elga credit Union. Terrible decision. got a letter in the mail saying they did not have proof of insurance. Went to branch office with proof of insurance customer service was pathetic she didn't want to accept my proof of insurance. That was the same proof of insurance when I bought the car. With a insurance company I have been with for 30 years.Do not recommend them to anybody. Glad I was able to pay mine off and be done with them.

Fees for everything, horrible software, horrible customer service, debit card that basically doesn't even work.. Literally the worst banking experience I have ever had. If I sat and tried to think about how I could be worse than Elga, I don't think I could actually come up with anything. I wish 0 stars was a thing... 1/5 is way too generous. They cost our business thousands of dollars.

I went In there on Thursday to get an auto loan and had to wait 30+ minutes While the MINDY wasn't even doing anything but sitting in her cubical. Once she finally came out to help she was very rude. She got all the information she needed and said I would hear back from her on Friday around 2. Well she never called. So I called her 4 time and she never answered or retuned any of my calls. So finally before the closed at 7 I had drive 30 minutes to the branch to get any kind of information. For her to tell me "they just looked at it." Which was a lie and she never apologize for being rude or wasting my time. She WAS NOT helpful at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Out in California and Elga put a restriction on my card after I already put card travel notifications on my cards. Customer service is a joke can never reach anyone in the member center! I'll be seriously considering changing financial institutions when I return home.

This is wors bank ever for customer service period. Loyalty me nothing to these people me and my wife been a member Combined over 20 years. We will be closing all are accounts and going to a bank that will appreciate there customers it isn’t one Particular branch it is all of them don’t do business with these people

My wife found out someone was using her Card in Texas at a Sears. She called Elga. They did nothing. My wife had to call Sears, and take care of everything herself. Then someone took my number and was using it. Later I found this is happening to everyone I know that banks there. I told Elga the only way someone could have her number was the one place she used it, which was only twice, or their institution. I really believe who does their cards must be selling the info.

Stress is my worse enemy ,as a Pastor and pushin 60,Elga employees offered me more unsolicited "HELP," than anyone I've met in my years (MOM knows she's the exeption,Bless her soul!) And YOU FOLKS AT ELGA!! Corruna & Linden rds!! Thank You so very,very,much!
