I bought a house in April of 2019, Jackie Jackson was the primary person i dealt with; she was prompt with every email and phone call and made sure I never had to question the process. Deann and Pamela also went above and beyond to make sure i felt welcome every time I had to pop in the office to sign paperwork or meet jackie with processes i had questions about. everyone at element funding works as a team and is very family oriented and i will purchase many more houses through them as a lending company! they are the smoothest and most trustworthy people around!!

It was already stressful enough building our first home, but knowing our loan was in the hands of Element Funding put us at ease. I had the pleasure of working with Jackie and Ashley and I can't thank them enough for all they did for us. Thank you Element Funding!

The worst! I've owned several homes in my life and this is the most horrible purchasing experience I've had with a lender/mortgage broker. I would never have gone with this company and we already had our own financing but we were muscled into dealing with these people because they are the builders preferred lender and we were told in no uncertain terms that if we didn't use them for financing, we could not purchase the house which is ILLEGAL. Jackie never returns call and never does what she says she's going to do. Our credit is good and the interest rate quoted to use from their "sheet" at the beginning of this application was predatory and a whole 1% higher than the interest rate we had locked in with our lender of choice. Jackie assured us that this interest rate would decrease after she put the paper work in. Well I've called and called and We are 2 weeks from closing and out of underwriting and this woman refuses to tell us what our interest rate is. Unbelievable! The good faith estimate wasn't given to us within 3 days, We weren't given any consideration for the closing date even though we told her over and over again that we needed to change the date. There was all kinds of rediculas fees and inflations in the good faith estimate. ie: application fee. What reputable, honest mortgage broker charges this fee to someone that was required to use their services? The loan origination fee is over 2% when they don't deserve 0.1%. Thank goodness we still own our current home because as much as I "like" (not in love) this new build, I will leave them with their Jaws on the ground and walk away from this mess. The dishonesty, disregard and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I will be reporting all of this to the powers that be when this is all over.
