I worked with Kara today and she was amazing. Very professional and helpful. I called ready to go to war and she deescalated the situation quickly and was even able to process a refund since student loan payments are on freeze due to the pandemic. Thank you Kara...

I had Emily as my representative and she was amazing! She was patient and kind with me trying to understand how everything worked. She made sure I understood and encouraged me to stick to my plan of paying them off during the grace period. Thank you Emily!

Bunch of lowlifes! Don't trust that if you borrow money from these people that they will treat you fairly, because they won't. They don't care about you as a student, they don't care about you as a customer, and they definitely don't care about your financial future. They got paid all of their money and just because there was some discrepancy of when the loan was payed off, there is now a delinquency on my credit report. There was never proper notification that there was a problem on my account and I'm now dealing with the problem a year later after running my annual credit report. Get ready for a dispute, Edfinancial!

Incorrect interest calculation. Ever since my wife's student loan was sold to Edfinancial Services in Jan. 2018, we are having issues. One more payment, and no more dealing with this questionable financial institute.

Clearly they just want you to make payments forever. They don't answer calls, when I make extra payments they don't apply it to my principle balance, even though I've requested it. And their website doesn't even have an option to request a payoff. Their servicing federal student loans, but they're bigger scammers than private banks. Why is our government letting these criminals service federal student loans?

This company cannot get it together. I’m still a full time student doing everything I need in order to keep my loans deferred, yet my request keeps being denied for deferment (meaning I have to begin paying the loans as soon as I graduate rather than 6 months after graduation). I had to spend 3 hours working with my university and Ed financial to the correct paperwork because all of a sudden the reports my university had been sending them for 3 semesters is no longer sufficient. After getting the correct form from Ed financial, they still denied my request (sent via email). When I call Ed financial, they say everything is fine and that the request wasn’t denied, even though I received an email 2 hours earlier stating that it was. This whole process has been me running around trying to get everything perfect for them and I keep getting misleading and contradictory information from each person I speak to as well as email notifications. 0/10 would not recommend If only I had any other choice for loan providers...

Two issues. Don't count on them actually processing the form to automate your payments for a loan. I sent three separate forms to them, and I'm still having to manually pay them all the time. The second issue is their phone support. They have no where near the amount of people to answer calls in a timely manner. Be prepared to hear "we apologize for the delay" and "due to our heavy call volume" messages over 50 times each while waiting to talk to somebody. You may want to get a newspaper, watch a movie at your computer, or learn Japanese in the time it takes for someone to answer the phone.

They are like the pawn shops of loans. they prey on students in the worst kind of way. The interest is approx 39 percent. I have been paying on 6K for over 3 years..not missed a payment...and only paid approx 900 on principle. I did get a tax paper that I paid $940 in interest last year alone. BEWARE POTENTIAL LOAN SEEKERS! THEY BUY UP LOANS FROM FEDERAL GOV ALSO AND SCREW EVERYONE IN THE PROCESS

Trash! There not here to support the consumer on repayment of Student loans. There here to continue to rob and steal from borrower's as they run your credit score into the ground.
