I am very appreciative of what all the team did. The only thing that I disliked was we didn’t close when we were supposed to due to one piece of the puzzle not being back in time to get the clear to close. I felt that it should have been handled within the 45 days to closing time period and not a few days before the scheduled closing. Other than that the experience was good from start to finish! Lindsay Gonzalez and Sarah (sales representatives)were amazing! Sarah Dileo, Jeff, and Madison did a great job during the underwriting process! The inspector, Dustin, was so helpful and taught us a lot about our new home!! If I left anyone out, I apologize!!! I must say that my family and I are enjoying our new home! DSLD is awesome! Thank you so much for building our dream home. Months before our purchase decision, I called and spoke to Sarah DiLeo. I even spoke to a DSLD building superintendent to gather as much information as possible. Later, I called a few of DSLD’s competitors and compared responses. From the start, we noticed their local competitor lacked DSLD’s business infrastructure. For example, their building manager/ architect was also the loan officer. Then I compared online reviews and found lots of unfavorable trends for the other builders. We opted for DSLD. Sarah DiLeo ended up being our loan originator and got us pre-approved. The largest factors in deciding on which subdivision was the school system and word of mouth. Ashley Pope was both friendly and knowledgeable. My wife selected the majority of the color choices while I mainly selected electrical upgrades. The whole process with Ashely, from signing the contract to the color appointment was great. We loved the DSLD videos available online and the virtual walk-throughs which made the selection process easier for us. Before the color appointment, my wife found the majority of our color choices through DSLD’s Pinterest site. Ashley sent us photos and kept us aware of the build process the entire time. I must have sent Ashely dozens of emails and she promptly responded to each of them. Lastly, Kelly Foster was very kind and polite during our initial and follow-up walkthrough. My advice to prospective home buyers is this: there is no such thing as a perfect home but DSLD will get you as close as possible.
