We first tried a cash out refinance with a credit union and it was a nightmare due to their slow service and bad attitude. Steve and DG Funding reached out soon after and I figured it could not hurt to give him a call back. Steve quickly got us a preapproval/rate lock and did an excellent job shepherding us through the process. This is a cautionary tale and the worst experience in refinancing I have ever had. Although this is my first time refinancing my home, I have had a very pleasant experience with my first loan officer when I first purchased (lost contact with him). I had already completed an appraisal with another company and I was unhappy with the value of the home. I was contacted by Jacob Cogger in Feb who convinced me to switch over by promising to "fight" to increase the value. Well, four months later, that never happened and he barely explained the process to me. This was a nightmare and I wished I never switched because nothing about it was good. It was a complete waste of my time! Even at the 11th hour I had to remind Jeff to tell the team about my last payment. I'm just glad I caught it!.

Working with Billy was awesome. He made the financing process seemless for us as first time homebuyers. Our purchase was a non-arms length transaction between me/my wife and my grandmother. We opted not to use realtors and Billy went above and beyond to help us facilitate the sale of the house.
