Kathleen is the best customer service representative that I have had the pleasure of working with. She is a consummate professional and a master of her craft. She has been my teller since I opened my account and she has always offered top notch service beyond reproach. I am a lifetime customer because of her.

My mother and I open a account today. Marcus was the one that help us, He was a very friendly and the enivorment was extremely professional. A amazing experience and all we did was open an account. I would give 2 more stars just for being open til seven and open at 9am to 2pm on saturdays. I am very happy with my move to this bank.

Very irritated as I got charged 9 nsf fees in 3 days!!! Payments went through as my check went in and they were charging me like crazy. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve banked with b of a when I worked there, Wells Fargo and so on but I heard good things bout here. But I am definitely thinking about leaving. Never heard of a bank charging that much as I worked for one of the top ones. Bad experience so far

My bank. Had some trouble with mobile banking at first, but they fixed it quickly. Never a wait and branches at Walmart are open till 7pm. Talk about convenient!!! Open a n account and see!

The customer service shown by the Desert Financial employee, Keith, was excellent. The process of opening and account was quick and feeling secure in the decision was immediate.

The absolute best staff and Financial Institution around! I no longer dread banking needs... I have been with many other banks over the years and none hold a candle to Desert Financial. I encourage any of you to join and leave the pain of the big banks behind you.

I've been a client of Desert Financial for many years since moving to AZ. They have always been a great place to do business. When I lived in NY I was a member of the IBM Credit Union for 30+ years. Desert Financial certainly matches their service in all aspects.

Charging fees before necessary, or not necessary at all... Absolutely unacceptable behavior. The very reason I left BOFA, is the very reason I will soon leave DSFCU. To see this type of nonsense come from a credit union is appalling. This is now the 3rd time (in the short 4 months I've had the account) that I have had DSFCU charge me an overdraft fee BEFORE I have become overdraft, except this time, I would have never been overdrawn in the first place had they not charged me 2 separate fees to begin with. In the screenshot I have attached (From their very poorly executed mobile banking app) you can see that my account is negative by nearly 60 dollars after collecting 2 NSF fees... seems strange, considering that it's only $59.10 seeing how the 2 $35 fees would add up to $70 alone, right? EXACTLY. See the truth is, I should still be positive by $10.90 in my checking account, yet I've been charged 2 NSF fees. Even if I were to have actually gone negative, it should only be ONE fee. It is apparent that the DSFCU algorithm for charging fees is incapable of doing simple math... $77.11-$32.62=$44.49, $44.49-$11.18= $33.31, $33.31-$22.41=$10.90... that total again is, TEN DOLLARS AND NINETY CENTS. NOT -$59.10. This one star rating is not for the fantastic ladies and gentlemen who work in each branch. I give THEM a 5 star... This rating for the scheming, penny pinching wannabe Big Bank credit union. DSFCU, you are NOT Wells Fargo or Bank of America, you DO NOT have the grounds to charge unnecessary fees to your clientele like big banks do. You are SUPPOSED to be a 'by the people, for the people' credit union. Lead by the example of Deer Valley FCU. I have been banking with DVFCU for 7 years now and they have done a perfect job since day one. Long story short, if you are planning on joining DSFCU to get away from the "big bank" issues, look to Deer Valley FCU instead, otherwise you might as well stick to the big bank you already have. These guys are the same as them, minus the benefit of having more branch/ATM locations.
