Lake Pleasant Village Apartments N Lake Pleasant Rd, Peoria

Love the manager here & office staff. They are always friendly & helpful. We have gone through two different companies buying them out & rent going up twice because of this even though told our rent wouldn't go up second time. Maintenance answers quickly & gets requests done. Haven't had many issues here-going on 2 years now.

I have lived at Lakepleasant Apts for 15 years, my manager has been here 15 or more years she is a straightforward manager best of all she listens and gives honest feedback good or bad . This is a great peaceful place to live.

I just moved here recently and I love the apartment but the only thing I don’t like the kids all over playing and making so much noise and I have a baby she can’t sleep from the kids and they stay very late playing and make to much noise I hope the management they can do something about it other then that I really love this apartment

Ms Jennifer and Ms...are wonderful, professional women. They are compassionate and energetic. The parent company is invested in the people and properties.they are getting the job done and doing it as best they can and still keep our rent affordable. Thank you office staff ( current tenant 2020-2021)

Overall a good place to live. Management is fair. Most neighbors are quiet and reserved. If luxury is what you want then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a good, affordable and fair housing than this place would be ideal.

Consider yourself lucky if you can get into a rental here. Huge space! amazing staff! and maintenance crew (Fred!) Always making improvements! Some issues with residents byand again... But what complex doesn't?

Great for a family and management and maintenance are prompt to respond. Have been a resident for 5 years and it has been great being located by our kids school and by alot of stores.

I want to compliment Fred and Craig for working so well together to correct my plumbing issue. Whenever I submit a work order, it is completed in a timely fashion. When checking my mail this evening, a group of boys were tossing a football 'over' the path. One boy shouted, "Stop throwing!" and halted their game until I had gathered my mail and crossed again. Of course there are poorly behaved children here but many that I encounter are highly respectful and good.

I was forced to take up residence here and I moved in to February 10,2020 big mistake, I was homeless because of the rat, scorpions, termites, insects and other insects in the apartment at Riverbend ll Apartments but, that's another horror story. As far as Lake Pleasant Village Apartments well here goes: 1. I haven't had any electricity in the Kitchen area and I still don't. Jennifer had Miguel from another complex come out and since the maintenance men she had prior to my move in they both quit the day before I moved in. Two weeks ago she had Miguel and John the new maintenance man come to the apartment and neither of them were able to fix the problem. Last week Miguel was in the apartment again and he informed me that she needed to call an electrician however, I told them that on the day after I moved in. Because I have a friend that is an electrician and I told her that she would have to get an electrician but, today is April 11,2020 and still no electricity. I saw Jennifer last Wednesday and she told me that my having no electricity was not important or urgent and I informed her that I was going to get in contact with the BBB, the Attorney General's Office and her response was so what and she couldn't get anyone to come out. I know that's not true because she resides on the on the property and if it had been her unit she would have had someone get out here immediately and other residents agreed. Kids are allowed to ride their bikes, scooters, skateboards and other things and if you're walking down the sidewalk they don't move so you can get pass. I have reported this issue to the Housing's Attorney because I pay my rent on time and I would appreciate it if she lived up to the rental agreement I signed. I had to come back to the apartment complex seven times because of her errors and I had witnesses every single time but one and I recorded that interview. Now I know why this place has so many negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and don't make the mistake that I did, if there had been any place else I would NOT be here. We moved here in Oct 2012. Management goes above and beyond for their tenants. The only thing you must do is pay your rent AND adhere to the rules. Jen in the front office is wonderful! I am going in my 7th year here and I am blessed. It's a safe area where you can take a walk. Those who speak negative about these apartments are most likely those who did not pay rent or adhere to the rules. Cathy A.
