Deseret First Credit Union Main St, Logan

I have had accounts with Deseret First since I was 8 years old and have always had a great experience. The Logan branch and other branches are open during convenient times of day, have low interest rates and great customer service in their departments. They also have shared branching for members who live outside of the cities where branches are located. I will keep my accounts with them for the foreseeable future!

I used to have accounts at Chase, MACU, KeyBank, and US Bank; now I rely solely on Deseret First because they have products that help me reach my financial goals, and lower loan rates than competitors. They are flexible and understanding when I'm in a crisis, and most of all, they don't just act like they care--they actually DO care. The bald guy at my branch in Logan is very helpful even if a bit talkative, and I email him whenever I need information on a transaction or advice with a potential loan.

Absolutely the best service I have ever received. I worked with a Woman named Donna. I applied for a car loan and ran into problems. Donna helped me figure out how to get what I wanted by giving me some advice and a direction. I found the car that I wanted and called her. She worked a full 24hrs to help with my loan and spoke with banks around the area I was in to make it painless and so easy! I almost thought it wasn't real. I kept waiting for a snag that might happen. The dealership worked with Donna and at the end of the day I walked away with the car of my dreams. I know that without Donna none of it would have been able to happen. I am so grateful to her for what she has done for me! She is a diligent worker and took my needs and applied them to her own. I owe Donna so much! Thank you Donna!

I have had accounts at several institutions, this one has been my favorite by far. The staff is great to me. They remember me by name. They are able to offer everything I need. They never badger you to open more accounts. They are professional. They have always been able to offer me everything I need from basic banking to international transfers.

These guys are fantastic and always willing to respond! Would definitely do business with them whenever I can!

Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone, also never could get them to get my online banking to work. Won't be taking a loan with them again.

Kind of a funny story: I went in here to open a savings account. I had just gotten off work landscaping. I had a full beard , and long hair. The gal was not nice... haha she told me she was sorry, but they couldn't give me an account, because this particular credit union was for LDS members only... (I was active in the church at the time) I awkwardly asked if being baptized at age 8 counted as membership... she reluctantly said yes. I said then I want a savings account. After all was said and done, I said, "Not that it's any of your business, I'm a full tithe payer, and I go to church every week... don't judge a book busy it's cover" I laughed, she said sorry, and that was that... haha all in all, not the greatest credit union, but not the worst.
