I called inquiring about a new vehicle. The sales guy mumbled they are being bought before they arrive which I’m well aware of. When I continued speaking intending to ask the process for purchasing/reserving before arrival, I didn’t even get a chance as he just hung up on me. Glad I didn’t get so far as buying a car with rude folks!

I just took my Toyota Rava 4 into the dealership for service at the beginning of September 2020. I take it every 5,000 miles. I am now at 33,000! Each time the fluids are checked, the tires are rotated and balanced (OR) at least I thought they were. I noticed a rumble sound in the tires riding with my wife this morning and she said she had been hearing it since her last visit. She did not know what it was. She thought something was wrong with the tires, so I took the car today to Smith Tire in Danville and they said the tires had not been rotated and they were wore out, the steel was showing in the back driver side tire, but the other three tires are just as bad. I did not know about this until today, that is why I take the car in for service, that was part of why I bought it for good service, I thought. This tells me the tires had not been rotated at all each 5,000 mile service as bad as they are. This tells me the dealership did do what they stated on the form given to me each time that they had done, which was not done.That also tells me I have been lied too by Toyota and the service staff. When I bought the car, it was stated over and over again, I am buying this for my wife because she travels and that was told to the office manager when I bought the car for her. This is very important to have good tires on the car, good gas mileage, and a reliable vehicle I don't have to worry about. Nothing, absolutely nothing was said in September about the tires, nor have they ever said anything about the tires. SO, I went straight from Smith Tire to the Toyota dealership and the service department said there was nothing they could do, the tires are only good for 30,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I was not told this when I bought the car, although they went through hell and high water to sell me every type of warranty they could, but nothing mentioned about a tire only being good for 30,000 miles. I reached out at 5:30 when I just arrived home to the Manager of the Dealership to make sure he knows what has occurred, the paperwork I have showing work that had not been done, and what he plans, if anything to do about this. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my disabled mother. They were very kind to my 2 wild little girls as well. They worked some magic to get us the deal on our van.

Twice they haven't called to tell me the car was ready. I'm now missing my $400 key fob for my new car because the service department closed at 1pm. The sales department wouldn't get my key fob for me. Also my car doors were left unlocked. So if you're a thief go check them out they leave customer cars unlocked. I will never deal with them again. I also told them I'm smelling coolant when at a drive thru window, they said they have been told this by several people but can't find any problem.

Tommy in the Service department is what customer service should always be. I love it when he's there because he takes care of his customers and does everything to accommodate them. But checking out can be unnerving, depending on who's there. Too often I've gotten unfriendly service and talking on the phone while taking my money. I don't like that.

I had an excellent experience with Garret. He was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. We wanted to do a lot over the phone and remotely and they were very accommodating and responsive. I hope to get to do business with them again in the future!

I’ve had good and bad experiences with Danville Toyota. Their repair shop is not tied into the national Toyota database so any repairs done at a major dealer are unknown to them. They do not always do all the items you ask them to and you need to check to make sure that the service was done correctly. Major repairs were done OK, but things like checking belts and hoses and cleaning battery terminals may not get done without repeated requests.

My experience started off rocky reason why I gave only 4 stars. However it ended very well. Reminded me to be patient and let God/Universe do what they do. Heath in the service department really stepped up and I appreciate his patience with me and for helping me out. Will be back.

No point in making appointments they don't take people by the times they are set up for had an 8am appointment and they havent even started on my car yet and people who had appointments after me or no appointment are all leaving before me. The last time i had an 8:30 appointment and it was almost 11AM before I left same situation .

I was in the area for the Thanksgiving holiday. I needed an inspection sticker, the normal maintenance check, and I wanted them to check for a leak in the right rear tire. It seemed that every other day, I was putting air in that tire. Simple enough, right? Well after they insisted that I needed new brake pads to pass inspection (I still do NOT believe that) and that I needed this fluid and that fluid to be drained and replaced (or whatever they said), I paid $571 and change 🙄. Also they stated that they found nothing wrong with the tire. That happened on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Today...November 28, 2021, while heading back home, the very tire that I told them about...BLEW on Hwy 58 East. I had to call roadside assistance! Thank God that it didn't happen while driving over a bridge in the 757. The oversight by Danville Toyota is inexcusable. If they can't check a tire adequately, what else could they be getting wrong? Their quality of work has decreased, it seems.

Great service from matter mechanics when needed especially the right place to go if you have a Toyota. I have a 2012 Prius V that runs just like it did the day I got it. Their service department sends out all recalls found for your vehicle and fixes them for you free of charge. They also send you reminders along with discounts for regular services like oil changes and air conditioning tune ups and other suggested time ups for the mileage of your car. Great staff great service.
