My wife and I had a great experience with Gavin and his team at Cross Country Mortgage. It was our first home buying experience and we had no idea what to expect. This is the second time I have worked with CrossCountry, once for a refinance and now the purchase of a home. The whole process was seamless and I never once had to check in for the status of anything. They were on it and I received updates almost daily. Any questions I had were answered immediately. She is very savvy at what she does and will work hard to get you the best product available. We have used them for our purchase and then recently for a refinance when our property taxes went through the roof. We will never use another lender or another Team as long as Team Gavin is around.

We decided to re-fi our existing Cross Country mortgage in order to use proceeds for investment purpose. Half way thru the process our plans changed, but we were encouraged to continue with the re-fi, which would see our original interest rate drop, saving a great deal on our monthly mortgage payment. I appreciate the folks at Gavin for staying on top of the process and always keeping us informed. This has been a difficult market due to COVID restrictions, but Team Gavin has been innovative and found how best to work around the challenges in our virtual world.

I worked with Team Gavin on the purchase of my new construction house about 2 years ago. They were very responsive with any questions I had during the process and helped me through the long 8 months it took for the house to be built. Fast forward to about 2 years later and they reached out to me to let me know it would be in my best interest to refinance, which I totally agreed with. I did try refinancing with 2 other lenders, but they couldn't do what I wanted them to do. Gavin reached out and put me in contact with Jill and she took the lead on my refinance. She gave me multiple scenarios as far as lowering my payment, getting cash out, and keeping my interest rates low. She was very responsive, at night, on the weekends and always during business hours! Throughout the loan and home buying process, Rachel was always really quick to answer our questions and/or give guidance. We never felt like we didn't have a partner, and I can't recommend Rachel highly enough.

Overall the process was fairly easy and smooth. It was good service and the time process wasn't overly lengthy. It was not exemplary service though, as one team member of Team Gavin was slow to communicate or went a whole week without updates, also expected us to understand certain documents or terms and as a first time home buyer we probably needed more explanation. However, this was overcome, and Gavin is very professional and tried to send updates when he could. We are happy with the experience and glad to be in our home. Note: we were incentivized to use this company through our builder.
