The Credit Union of Georgia is simply amazing to work with. We have been members for several years and they are the first place we contact for any financing / investment needs. Melissa Thorndike recently helped us with our auto loan and she was so great to work with. We received the best customer service (as always). I would highly recommend CU of GA and Melissa Thorndike to anyone.

I don’t write reviews often but I just had a phenomenal experience at the Hickory Flat Credit Union of Georgia branch. I applied online early in the week for new auto loan and manager Sumer reached out to me promptly and worked with me through every step of the process. She was extremely communicative and worked quickly and efficiently to guide me though the process of becoming a member and obtaining our auto loan. I look forward to doing more business with Sumer and the Hickory Flat Credit Union of Georgia staff.

We moved to the area in mid-November 2021 and found Credit Union of Georgia close by. Sumer helped us open an account, electronically transfer our funds from another credit union, suggested re-financing our car at a lower rate, and just recently helped us open credit card accounts. Sumer is such a knowledgeable and sweet woman and we love doing business with her. We feel such a “small town” feel when we walk in and she calls us by name.

Working with the team at Credit Union of Georgia has been awesome. We have financed several cars with them, and they make the process so simple. Much of it has been completed without having to even go to the branch. We were with a Big Brand Bank for our personal and business banking, but after having such a great experience with the car loans, I moved everything over. I love knowing I can walk into a branch and the team there knows me.

Melissa with Credit Union of Georgia - Hickory Flat has been our saving grace over the last year!
