Derek Brown was absolutely amazing throughout our entire process. Working between him and our salesperson with Clayton it was smooth and efficient If I had any questions Derek was quick to answer and calm me down if I was anxious or nervous. He got us a fantastic approval and loan terms far better than any other company we considered. Working with him was a dream and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Recently my partner and I bought a home and we used Country Place Mortgage. We worked with Derek and his team - We were very pleased with the service we got and would recommend going with them! They made the process as easy as home buying can be and was always on top of their things and getting back to us in a timely manner!

If there was an option to give less than one star, I would have. This mortgage company is an absolute joke. The loan officer (Rick Acosta) consistently lies and as a result of his lies and the complete disaster of a process, closing has been pushed 4 different times. He will tell the title company one thing and say something completely different to us. Having a newborn, buying a new home, and trying to schedule a move is hard enough but when you're dealing with someone who cannot tell truth and doesn't know what he's doing it has made a difficult situation unbearable. All we want to do is close....why is this so hard?

I sent two emails with no response. The mobile home dealer also did not get a response from them either. I called and left a voice mail and sent one more email, finally I received a call back. I spoke with Derek. I felt like I interrupted his day, and there was 50 things he’d rather be doing than talking to me. His facts were not straight and when I tired to point out the part he had incorrect, he didn’t have time to listen. He was very rude to me and acted as if I was not good enough to be dealing with him. His words were literally insulting. My husband and I have come a long way to try and purchase a home, and it was very hurtful to be talked to like I was just a waste of time. Thankfully we were approved with Cascade and they are very kind, honest, and happy to be trying to get our loan for us.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. Read the reviews on here. This is the worse mortgage company you will ever deal with. We started a loan with them last year and still have not gotten further then the application process. Emailed Lonn 20 times, no answer. They never return calls. They lie lie lie about everything. They will say what you want to hear just to get your business, then never follow through. You email or call them and weeks go by before they get back to you. So if you want a company that will never answer you, lies to you and rude employees then do it. No I DO NOT suggest that you use CountryPlace at all, ever, never never never. Lonn Anderson in the Florida office, the loan officer my family dealt with, will ruin your life, and destroy all hopes of you ever getting a loan. He is a joke and a disgrace to this company. I beg you, use another company. Again read all the reviews below, it will save you.

Derek was so helpful and informative throughout the whole process. I really felt like he went to bat for us and helped get some more favorable terms. He was always quick to respond to emails and answered all of my questions. They also helped keep pressure on our contractor to keep to a tight a schedule! Would definitely recommend!

Derek at CountryPlace Mortgage was very helpful and knowledgable. He went above and beyond to help us get the home that we wanted and could afford. He also was willing to work with several different companies and avenues to help us determine the best option for us. We are so appreciative of Derek, CountryPlace, and all of the hard work put forth to help us purchase our perfect home!

Derek was extremely helpful in the home financing process for my 22 year old son. We had a very difficult situation with land and driveway needing to be in his name and Derek was so patient and helpful and answering all question very fast. I would recommend this company and Derek to anyone that needs their services.
