    I recently decided to refinance my auto loan and the process was done within 2 days! Kate was quick, responsive and prepared. She was wonderful to work with and everything went very smoothly. Still my preferred credit union for the last 10 years.

    I can't sing the praises of Kate Imhoff enough! She helped me with a car loan but more importantly she answered all my questions, both large and small, with an immediate response...and with great cheer, too! Because I'm hearing impaired, we communicated by email and I could feel her warmth through her written words. She always replied within minutes. Three cheers for Ms. Kate! ( I love my credit union...the CCU!)

    We had such a great experience with Renee Ziska, Loan Officer, when we bought our home that when it came time to refinance, we didn’t even shop around! We went right back to Renee. She is thorough and communicates along the way, so you always know where you’re at in the process. Thank you Renee!!!

    I recently opened an account with Consumers. The process was easy and the employee was a pleasure to deal with. Even after arriving just before closing, I was not rushed in any way. I’m looking forward to doing business with them.

    I have been with Consumers Credit Union for many years now and I highly recommend them! My main contact has been Leslie Ashbaugh and she has worked with me concerning checking, savings, car loans and IRA's. She is always friendly and helpful (as all of their staff is!) and her response to my needs has always been immediate. Thank you Leslie and staff!

    I had been trying for months to get someone at Milham branch to help me sort out why there was almost always an error when I used the “virtual teller”…. Usually money went into wrong account even though I gave info on the last four digits or the whole account number, etc. On one occasion when I was very frustrated I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and was told he was not in. Some time passed and I received a call from a John Marshall who said he was with Consumers I called back and left a message. When we finally connected he kept saying that is the way Consumer’s works now …. Remotely for routine activities. I tried to get across my frustration and he said he “had reviewed the tape” and that I “ got testy”….. at that point I hung up. When I had some other business to take care of I called and asked what other branches were near me…. The person on the phone did not know what branches were where but when he mentioned there was one called Millwod I decided to go there. I went in and asked for someone to talk to where I could sit down. Mr. Greg Smith was very helpful and arranged for my bond to be cashed and took care of some other needs and corrected a couple other items. Earlier this week I went in expecting to talk about another issue and he was not there. Recently I had gone to Milham with a 3000 Plus dollar check and asked very nicely that it go into account 68098, the free checking part. The nice young man took care of it…. But a couple days later I looked to check on when a couple of large checks I wrote had cleared and discovered that the 3000 plus check had been placed in the wrong account so when some small checks came through the system saw not enough balance and took money from savings and covered them….. and charged $10 each. I arranged to move the money immediately when I realized this to the 68098 account as I had requested. As soon as I had time, I went into the Milwood branch to get help. Mr Smith was off that day and Ms Kim Ferris offered to help me. First she removed the $10 charges. Then she set out to figure out why so many of my transactions went awry. It was a question of the remote teller looking for my name first on the various accounts instead of listening to the number…. Would not have happened if you still took deposit slips! She set out to sort it out and cleared up the names that had, apparently, been confusing the remote tellers. I do not believe all of this could have been sorted out while I sat in my car or while Mr Marshall was more concerned with the fact that I was upset than trying to figure out how to solve the problem. Hope this answers what a great experience I had at Milwood. It may mean I keep my accounts at Consumers . One last thing, Arbor CU used to have remote tellers inside their branch in Portage. When they rebuilt they went back to some real people as an option.
