Community One Credit Union Inc Mckinley Ave, Canton

Opened an account here for a more local account than just PNC. However, I was not informed that there was a $5 "account maintenance fee" for any balance less than $250 (all they told me was you needed a minimum of $5 to open an account). The names of the savings and checking accounts are also very similar and confusing, so when I accidentally transferred funds back and forth from PNC, I withdrew from the wrong account and got charged an overdraft fee (twice). Okay, my mistake, but the instructions were confusing, and when I brought it up with the bank teller they did not offer even forgiving one of those overdraft fees of just a few dollars. Got nickled and dimed all over the place and decided it just wasn't worth it.

For a checking account they've been ok at best. Loans are not their thing here it seems. They stole $337 from me saying my insurance didn't list them as lien holder even though my insurance company sent them proof it was. They refuse to remove the money from my loan. I have all emails and documentation to prove it they're knowingly steeling from me and causing me great distress.

I have been with this credit union for a year. After years of being taken by First Merit, it is refreshing to work with people that are actually looking out for my best interest. Also , They actually know my name!

It is so unfortunate. Since they merged with the Fireman & Policeman Credit Union, we have become just another number to them. They no longer treat us like they value our business. We have been with for about 15 years. I remember when they treated you with respect and understanding. I have had multiple loans through them as our family has grown. Cars, home repairs, etc. We had an emergency need for home repair this week and we have never paid an account late to them or any other creditor, and they would not loan us the funds. We had to call them to even get a status update on the application. After not hearing back from them, we called another credit union and got approved in ten minutes. We are going to be moving our funds this month.

I have been with this credit union since is was a kid. I also deal with another bank but this place is the best for loans hands down. I use to only deal with Nora but since she dont do loans anymore i only deal with Stephanie. This place is awesome the only down side is there is not enough of these banks around,theres only 2

I opened an account at Cleveland ave location today. The teller that helped me was very knowledgeable and very very nice. I would recommend this bank to everyone! Thank you Marie for being so kind!

Very friendly and caring bout our interest and saving our money. A bank that cares can hold my money any day.
