The service is always top tier with Community Choice Credit Union. Mrs. Mahawa Lawrence is the best. She’s helps me with all of my big transactions and is very friendly and knowledgeable. Met Ms. Lauren today and she provided friendly professional service. I definitely would recommend the Redford Michigan Branch to anyone. Thank you to everyone at Community Choice. Every time I go into the Redford Mi. location I'm always greeted with friendly staff. I had to work with a personal advisor today and I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Willie Collins. Worst customer service EVER!! On Monday there were 20 ppl in line. I have never been to Credit Unions in my life! I was waiting for a banker for about 20 min. Just came in to open an account with $ 40 K for house purchase. The banker took older AA couple instead of me and when i asked why she did NOT give me an adequate answer and i asked for manager she cut off he wasn't available and slamed the door behind her. Will never go back AGAIN even if they pay me. They are not even in top ten best Credit Unions in Michigan.

However, I must say that one of the home equity processors named Grace P. with the Home Equity Team has set the bar even higher. So my employer decided to pay me in a personal check... I have had bad experiences with depositing personal checks into my chase account because they are on hold for 2 or 3 days.. so I decided to bring it to the bank it was drawn off of and I got Lauren, she was a very bubbly person and quick with the transaction! She even sold me on the choice checking account.. she gave me her contact information and I will be reaching back out to her for additional information and to open the account. I wish I could of opened it right there but I needed to go get my son! I will be seeing you soon Lauren!

Customer service is amazing! Lauren is always my go to for any financing needs, she is knowledgeable and personable! I always have a million questions and she is so patient and thorough! Not to mention how freaky fast she responds! I always suggest going through this branch and using Lauren for financial needs, she keeps you coming back!

I don't live in Michigan and isn't a member of this credit union but my friend has a account here. I was pleasantly surprised by how the staff treat the members. Me and my friend came into this location about a week ago and this young girl name Avia greeted us and treated us so nicely. I could tell she liked her job. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel comfortable. She answered our questions, complimented my hair, and overall made my first time coming into this location good.

I want to give major kudos to Shadonna Rawls, Assistant Manager at the Redford branch of Community Choice Credit Union, for the way in which she handled a transaction for me. Due to difficulty I have getting to the branch while recovering from a stroke Shadonna suggested she could facilitate my transaction without requiring me to come into the branch. She transmitted the necessary paperwork electronically and I was able to sign electronically to complete the transaction. Shadonna’s customer focus and resourcefulness were certainly appreciated!

I have bin with this bank my entire life and it has never failed me. Today was a very special day because I am buying a new car. I’m always transferred to this bank location due to this being where I opened my account. I never can get in contact with anyone, I’ve left messages over a two week period an have not received any help or even a call back. I have even clicked for a call back and have not gotten one. When I get back in town I’ll be stopping by to close the account.

They were very kind in helping me take out a large amount of cash with no heads up. Not only that I have been banking with them for years now and have never had much issues with them. Definitely a great place to bank with nice staff.

Sheila was absolutely amazing! I had been transferred a few times, and was a bit frustrated. But she immediately apologized for the service I had received previously, and was committed to addressing all of my concerns. We ended up laughing and bonding over songs tied to our namesakes, all while getting my questions and financial needs resolved.

Usually I utilize the drive-through or the ATM for most transactions, but on a recent occasion, I decided to seek service inside the building, and boy can I say I was not disappointed. I had a few things I wanted to do, and the teller that assisted me, Haley, was so helpful and nice. She worked very quickly and efficiently and even offered up some alternative solutions to my questions. It was a great experience!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this institution at all costs. I am 3000 miles away on a work trip, and they decided to close my debit card with 0 contact. They claim they sent my new card in October, but it's nearly February and I've never received or activated it. Every single worker is completely incompetent. Useless sacks of garbage. Removing every single cent and never coming back. Fuxk this place

The team at this bank is incredible, from the manager to the newest employee. Lauren, certainly went the extra mile for today. I went in today because I had a sketchy transaction on my app, and she dug around and found 4 more that turned out to be fraudulent., Sorry I can't buy her lunch ( that's kinda creepy) but I did say thank you plenty of times. So to sum it up. Smart, fast and friendly. FYI although I enjoy this credit union and it's benefits, this review is of the employees not the institution they work for.

For new small businesses, they don’t offer many business services for me! I have been with Community Choice CU for over 18 months, they have yet to provide me any help assistance or any financial assistance. I left them and open My New Business Checking Account with Navy Federal Credit Union, THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤝👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾I applied for a business credit card and navy federal approved me for $90,000 credit card for my business. Lauren Nino is the best! My father passed away a few years ago and it was his birthday; I wanted to buy a cake and visit him at the cemetery and I thought I could access my Michigan First Credit Union account from CCCU through shared branching. I went up to Lauren the other day to make a withdrawal and she quickly realized I didn't have an account and noticed I had my Michigan First account number card in hand. I was in a daze and was not listening to what she was saying until she asked me, Ma'am are you okay? She had a genuine concern for me. I told her my father's birthday is today and I just felt lost, upset, and angry because he left me. Lauren paused and listen to me vent and gave me words of encouragement and reassurance that everything is going to be alright. I felt like I was banking with the wrong credit union and need to bring all my assets to her because she was the first person to acknowledge something was wrong and showed me compassion. We need more Lauren's in the world!

I have banked with Community Choice Credit Union for 5+ years. I’ve never had any fraudulent issues but over a year ago I went to a GameStop store in Detroit and I noticed that close to $100 has been taken out my account 3times. I explained my concerns to a bank rep and in return this bank put restrictions on my account that doesn’t allow me to use my card, receive cash app payments, etc… Friends told me to lie and tell them that my card was stolen. But I’m a honest person I don’t try to get over on anyone and thought my history & good standings would be enough. Instead they treated me like I was the problem. I would never recommend this bank to anyone and I learned a valuable lesson trying to be thruthful and honest because it gets u nowhere nowadays just messed over

She not only made sure my account was secure but also got the charges removed off of my account within a day! I can't tell you how thrilled I was with this.
