I've always had great service at Commerce bank. Friendly and helpful people. I've been doing business with them in Illinois and Missouri for over 40 years.

Banker here Rufus to open a new account . The reason is I’m from IL !!!!! I tried the other location opened new account no problems. Ladies who charge the office there feels she’s in power .

Tories is an awesome banker fixed an issue another branch wouldn't & told me they couldn't. Couldn't be happier with her level of customer service.

WHY ANYONE CHOOSES TO BANK HERE BLOWS MY MIND. They charge to cash their own checks. I got paid by a local business, and decided since my bank isn't here to cash the check from the bank that issued it. Unfortunately it happened to be Commerce Bank. They serious charge $8 to cash their own checks. Never, ever, ever go to them to do anything. They did not even tell me or explain there would be a fee. Illbe letting the business know that their bank is absolutely awful, and they should seriously consider changing to a better bank.

Commerce Bank is my jam. I've had an account with them for over 20 years. They are always willing to help fix my accounting errors, assist with difficult questions and each and everyone of the employees is extremely nice.

Lost a 50+ year customer. My mother and father opened accounts at Commerce, Affton in the 1960's and did all their banking there. I opened savings accounts there in the 70's, checking in the 80's, and business accounts in the 90's. They lost my business by around 2000, when they started trying to empty my accounts with fees. No more free checking, etc., and the bank next door was more than happy to have my business. But my father refused to change and stuck with them, until yesterday. My father is elderly now, and he can no longer get out to run errands. He has been sending me up to the bank to get him cash. This has been fine with Commerce for years, until yesterday, when the teller wanted a thumb print and everything short of a W2 form and court order, and to cap it all off, a FEE. My father, retired and living on a fixed income, and they are going to charge a fee for him to access his own money that he has kept there for over 50 years. We're in the process of closing all of his accounts at Commerce and moving him to a more friendly bank who will not steal what little money he has left by fee-ing him to death like a tick sucking blood from an artery.

One staff member was so rude with me yesterday. I don’t recall her name. The one on Webster Groves is way better.
