    The Halls Ferry branch in Florissant it’s terrible the ATM machine is always broken when you called to speak with someone, they tell you it’s between 15 and 18 minutes to speak with someone one it’s really 40 minutes to almost an hour before somebody picks up the phone and I am not kidding they told me 18 minutes and I hung up the phone after 45 because no one answered the phone they need to do better. The customer service is not so bad on the inside they just never smile they always look like they don’t like their job not very inviting.

    I have been a member since I was 16, and I am now 69. I have enjoyed a great CU until lately. There has been NUMEROUS problems communicating with them, the service on location has dropped dramatically, and their Visa changeup was a fiasco. I still cannot get the points I am earning from them. Probably time to look for another institution. Sorry

    Excellent credit union, I was recently contacted by the fraud department asking me if I authorized a purchase in El Paso Texas, when I said no they immediately declined the transaction and blocked the card for further use. I am grateful they took such quick attention to get this resolved and lucky that no funds were stolen from my account. The staff is also very helpful and friendly, I have not had any issues with this credit union and have been a member for several years.

    When the bank us open for business, I expect that they should be able to do what us need by the customer . The other day I had walked in the bank with a friend that I was going to add on to my account . I stood waiting outside if an office with 2 females sitting at a desk that picked there , at that time the bank was empty from customers. Finally after 8 minutes that passed one female asked if I had an appointment, I replied no . The 2 workers in office continued on what they were doing , then the teller asked what I needed and when I said I wanted to add my friend to my account I was told she couldn't do that. Never in all these years that I banked with Neighbors that I had to make a appointment. I just walked I. And waited for my turn when they were waiting on a customer before I enter an office to conduct business. This bank is open to conduct business with the customers, and I personally feel these 2 workers that could of stopped for 5 minutes , but instead I have to line up another time with my friend to go back to the bank , drive 10 miles one way , which should of been handled the other day . I'm very tempted to pull all my money out if the bank and go to my friends bank to do banking business I have been banking at Neighbors for over 15 years

    I have been a member for a long time and main complaint is the difficulty in getting customer service. Hold times on phone average over 20 minutes.

    No credit unions Neighbors Credit Union has in their (very small) credit union network are remotely convenient to most. The downtown location is convenient for most city folks in the City, if there were more than 6-ish parking spots for customers and the entrance in to the parking area is formed in such a way that you may struggle to pull your car in/through the entrance without scratching your vehicle against the concrete walling. Constant fees.

    Our experience with Neighbors for a home equity line of credit was horrendous. My husband and I both have 800 credit scores so we are certainly not a credit risk. We were given different answers / information on various things: loan amounts, closings date was supposed to be 4-6 weeks (currently at 8 weeks), appraisal was not needed / then an appraisal was needed. The answer was different depending on who you talked to. Bottom line, we had zero confidence in anything they told us by the end of the process. As a realtor, I cannot recommend this company for any of my buyers and I would be hesitant in accepting an offer from a buyer who is pre-approved with them. Being able to close on a deal in this competitive market is crucial to contracts getting accepted. I wish my preferred lender did HELOCs. Hope to never have to have an experience like this again.

    My experience with Kamesha McDile , manager of the tellers @ Neighbors 6300 So Lindbergh was fantastic Ms Mc Dile helped me with my Visa credit card. She somehow updated it so my transactions would be posted. Ms McDile did things to my phone that i didn't know could be done. You need to give her a raise so you don't lose her. My experience with Mr. Kevin Poe of your investment office has been very good. We are not finished with this business so i can't give the ending rating but thus far it has been good.

    After a few less than stellar experiences at other banks, etc., I happened across neighbors. It was in my neighborhood so i figured I'd give them a shot. I went to the branch near Gravois Bluffs and was treated with nothing but respect, a helpful attitude, and answers to any questions I may have had. EVERY time I go there and EVERY person I deal with there treats me the same way. I've gone to other branches. One was outright rude. The other one told me I'd have to find somewhere else to go because their machine was down and she wasn't counting my change. The people at the Fenton branch are fantastic. Please don't rotate folks from other branches in, because I'm fairly certain they cannot be trained. Keep Fenton the way it is and you'll have at least one customer for life!
