    Long waits, the people that work at this location are not well informed and therefore not very helpful. The app never works. There's always some problem with the system or their computers or something that makes it impossible to do what I need to do. I have maintained accounts with other credit unions in other states, so I know what banking with a credit union **SHOULD BE**. This is NOT it. If you're looking to open a new account here, I suggest looking elsewhere with a more reliable bank. That's what I am doing now. I'll be closing my costal accounts and going elsewhere with my money.

    Only a month and trying to make a car payment and issues already. I don’t have time to go to a branch and this is a issue for me. Now going to have to be late for my job cause your app doesn’t work. Get with it. No I will NOT change my one star review.

    I banked with this credit union for six years without a issue. Until today, I went into the garner branch due to fraudulent activity on my minor daughter acct. and was treated with utter disrespect, racial profiled and my daughter treated like a lying and incompetent child. Marta the banker who “assisted us” and Alejandra “ in investigation dept” are the absolute worst people at this branch. It was to the point that they were laughing at my daughter and I smh. Do not bank here! Take your hard earned money elsewhere. I definitely will be taking this matter further.

    Started an account bc a family member suggested growing a relationship with a credit union.. Good idea right.. Nope, it's been one bad experience after another. I referred my husband to join. When my husband and I came in to this branch.. We felt awkward and out-of-place, unfriendly staff... The banker who open my husband account coughed the entire time, but looked at us like we had a disease.. I have had to argue with customer service repeatedly over the phone and via messaging.. I had my direct deposit set up to go into these accounts... Well I switched back to my original bank and asa the direct deposit switches back.. I WILL BE WITHDRAWING MY MONEY AND CLOSING MY ACCOUNT ALONG WITH MY HUSBAND.. I WILL ALSO BE LEAVING A BAD REVIEW WITH BETTER BUSINESS

    Great service and knowledgeable loan officers at this branch (who make a point of explaining the lending process to you) made the stressful process of securing a home loan quite easy. I need to get my car loan under Coastal Credit as well, their rates are very competative.

    Currently on the phone on hold hoping SOMEONE at this credit union finds my money. I've only been with this credit union for about a month because I just moved here from out of state and I prefer utilizing local businesses. I went to the Garner location to deposit cash but had no idea that NOWHERE are there actual people at a teller to give cash to. First, I have to use a machine that connects me with a person in some other location. This person tells me that the machine can only take 30 bills at a time so my cash deposit is split into thirds. Then after I send the second set of bills through the machine, something goes wrong and I lose the person I was talking to. Mind you, I deposited cash, yet because THEIR system lost me before the transaction was done, I didn't have a receipt. Then, when I got someone on this machine again, I complete my last third of my money sending it through the machine because they tell me that shortly they will have my other money deposited correctly. Eventually they tell me they have it corrected and posted to my account. I go to the one person at a desk in that location and he prints me out a little statement and yes, it shows my deposit. I leave thinking everything is OK. Imagine my surprise just now when I login finally (app wasn't working earlier) and my money is GONE AGAIN!. The person on the phone assures me that it will be fixed tonight. I'm not so sure. If this issue is fixed and stays fixed for awhile, I will change my review. However, I will be finding another bank for sure because this experience has been horrible. Edit: The credit union did fix my account that night and I have had no other issues directly with my account. I still do NOT like that there are no actual tellers at the location.

    Went in because I had an issue with a credit card that I was approved for and could not reach anyone from the Digital Applications Support Team. My issue was solved in less than 10 minutes and now I just have to wait for the card to come in. Great job, will be coming in for any issues going forward!

    I have never had an issue when it came to opening a business account. I had gone to another location closer to my home and had major issues and poor customer service. But the location in Garner has always been great especially when it came for me to change my business name. I'd rather drive the extra 30 minutes to this location for my banking needs.

    The receptionist is rude, unpleasant, and makes you feel like you are a burden. There are MANY other local banks that would love our business. We went in to open some business accounts and were made to feel like an inconvenience. The receptionist made an appointment for a banker to call us and they were over an hour late calling. We ended up going with a different bank that appreciated us wanting to do business with them. We will also be closing all of our accounts at Coastal in the coming days. What a disappointment. You may want to reconsider your sign of “new members welcome” outside your branch. That is far from the truth.

    Poor customer service! I absolutely hate this bank, no one in their branch offices has a clue what they are doing! I ended up taking my business elsewhere because they took money out of my account without my permission then tried to tell me it was fraud, so I ended up getting the police involved only to find out it was actually them this entire time! Then they proceeded to cancel my credit cards without my permission as well! Astonished at the amount of glaring mistakes and colossal mess ups a bank can do in such a short period of time. Went through the drive-through today and no surprise, poor customer service from the teller! Here's a tip...stop hiring idiots with no social skills to work with your customers!
