Coastal Community Federal Credit Union Stewart Rd, Galveston

This used to be a very good location, quiet and professional. I guess the inside is not open to customers anymore. For some reason there's only drive through. Not very good for handicap patreons.

I was surprised to see such a low rating on this bank... I have been using this location for shared-branching banking for three years; excellent service every time. Occasionally there is a wait, but never an unreasonable one - sometimes there's simply more people in line than there are tellers available. Never ran into any rudeness during any of my visits. Love the reliability, ease-of-use (the new deposit forms are very simple to use), and consistently great service. Plan to keep coming here.

Very poor customer service. I was in line in the drive through at 4:59 p.m. Google business hours have hours open till 5:30 p.m. Teller refused to accept a cash deposit and was very unprofessional.

Very rude tellers. Teller acted like she didn't want to deposit my money into my savings account. She had ugly attitude the whole time. Didn't make conversation or even look up at me the entire time i was at the window.

This site says this specific locations drive thru is open on sundays and isnt.

We have been with Coastal CCFCu since 1970's and love it. Very family oriented folks, nice and down to earth people and very friendly.

takes 30-45 min per person and when you get to the window, the teller us very rude and can get highly mean and has refused to deposit my money several times. I had to report her every time. She has also purposefully ignored me and helped the entire secondary lane until I demanded to speak to her manager. Super horrid place. I don't recommend this bank

Not sure what happened to this Credit Union. Loan department fumbled on my title work twice, causing me to incur additional vehicle notes and insurance payments. Asked about being taken care of/compensated and just got a sorry along with a denial. If I miss a vehicle payment, I cannot just say sorry, that would damage both parties involved. Good luck calling, their lack of call support is brutal. Leave a voicemail or send a companywide email and they’ll eventually get back to you. If you need something urgent then go to JSC or nearly anywhere else. Very frustrating to write this review as I hate to bad mouth small businesses. Will be withdrawing all funds, closing all accounts and moving over to Shell, JSC, Amoco, Texas Citizens and Chase. Very disappointed at how their mistake wasn’t handled properly.

Great place to bank. Got exceptional service and advice to rebuild my credit. Approval process for auto loan was fast and easy...

The absolute worst and least professional staff I've ever dealt with in any business. Do not work with these people.
