I refinanced my mortgage with CME about a year ago -- they cut my payment in HALF! Today, I moved my new car loan to CME and got 2% cash back, a better interest rate, and significantly lower monthly payment. I worked with Emily on my car loan -- it couldn't have been easier. I just sent her an email with my current loan details and she went to work to find me a great deal with CME. We handled everything through emails and phone calls - I never had to leave my house. Emily was an absolute gem to work with. I can't speak highly enough about Emily or CME. If you feel like "just another number," or like your voice isn't heard, I encourage you to reach out to CME. I worked with Kristi in the Consumer Lending Department at CME. She helped my family obtain a personal loan as well re-finance both our vehicles at a lower rate. She was extremely responsive, thorough, and walked us through each step. It was a pleasure to work with her.

My husband and I just refinanced our car loans with CME. We have been members for almost a year now. We couldn't be more pleased. The customer service is beyond OUTSTANDING. I have never called that I have received anything by OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Kristi helped us with refinancing the car loans. She made everything simple to the point and quick. I am extremely happy that we have now switched all of our accounts to CME. This will be our last switch. We plan on staying with CME.

Federal CME and Kristi Ohler were fantastic to work with. Not only was she able to match a rate for me she was very informative with the entire process and helped made sure I got the best possible loan/options. I will use them again if and when I need another loan.

I have had more problems with CME in the past 6 months than all my other banks combined for the past 10 years! I got a car loan from CME because it had a lower interest rate, but watch out because they hit you with petty fees. After 3+ years of payments, I paid off my loan and instead of “Congratulations”, two things happened: 1) they started charging me $6/month for my checking account I never used because it had inadequate funds and 2) the small amount of interest that was due didn’t hit the auto loan till the END of the month so I had $4 in interest still to pay and they started adding late penalties. Here is me thinking I have all ZEROES(!) in my accounts, nope... I ended up paying $100+ to cancel the account. Also, for what it’s worth, it is super annoying you cannot transfer money easily between CME and non-credit union banks like 5/3, Chase etc. They intentionally make it difficult so you have to use ALL their services to make your life easy! TLDR: CME looks enticing for the lower rates but in the end, it’s not worth it!!

1st off I have been on an all out grind to accomplish a mountain of goals to provide for my children. Balancing my money books and making sure my children didn't see my discouragement at times when things added up in the "bottoms." I have other accounts and places I bank but my very 1st trip into CME CREDIT UNION I was met with a very comfortable and courteous experience from the staff. The level of professionalism was unmatched compared to any other services I previously used. Also, the extra mile to look into my situation and find ways to work out my financial hardships were organized and completed; extra mile being an understatement. I don't have to look at payday as a mountain to climb as far as facing finish lines for goals. They truly caried me the rest of the way up the mountain. I am forever grateful for my job and the services CME grants our 1st responders. Ms. Ohler hats off to you. Great job.
