City Credit Union Ferguson Rd, Dallas

I've had it with this disgusting, greedy credit union and their usurious fees and lack of customer care. This is by far the worst financial institution I've ever had to deal with. The customer service experience is poor at best, with long hold times and contradictory information from their reps. When I received a $35 fee due to a fraudulent transaction, they sent a threatening letter which said, in part, "Otherwise you may find it difficult to establish an account, to negotiate checks, or to secure credit at another financial institution." Sounds like a threat to me. I've paid off four notes with this bank over the years and was never late. And to be fair, their interest rates were great. However, whenever I tried to make early payments they made it extremely difficult in a number of different ways. In fact, it was almost impossible to make principal only payments without jumping through hoops. What do you think about a financial institution that is willing to discard a long term (> 10 years) customer with a perfect payment record because of an unjustified $35 charge? Stay away from this junk institution.

I have been with City Credit Union for many years and with this new care loan I got the privilege of talking with Nayo S., truly outstanding. 5 stars for your expertise. Every single question I asked she knew the answer, fast, super efficient. A+ in being helpful. I asked so many questions on loan, rate, terms and she never hesitated to answer. Very kind. Someone needs to know in management when you are handled with respect and professionalism the entire company looks even better.

I had the pleasure of working with Eva Gomez for my Home Equity Loan and from the beginning she was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable about what I needed. Eva made the whole process quite easy and closed on my loan in just a few weeks. Sergio Martinez, is a great access to the City Credit Union, I met him when he was working at the 320 E Jefferson location. I recently applied for an auto loan with City Credit Union. My Loan Officer was Ashlyn Williams and she was very helpful throughout the whole process not only was the process quick, she as well responds fast when you need help or have any questions. Amazing service I’ve experienced.

I do not usually leave reviews but we recently applied for a car loan on line and was told that it usually takes 1 day. I called several times and was told it was in the processing. I called at the end of the Day and spoke with Sergio. This is the type of person you want to have help you, he went above just telling me it was being processed. He said if it wasn't assigned he would get it and help me. After checking that it had been assigned he then told me the loan officers name and transferred me to her extension. He then gave me his extension in case there was anything he could do to help.....Thank You Sergio!! in today's time when there is not much customer service it is nice to be treated in that manner. I hope your supervisor see this and acknowledges your professionalism.....Thank you again.

This was hands down the easiest loan process I’ve ever been through. Ashlyn Williams went above & beyond to make sure it went as smoothly as possible. I would recommend her and City Credit Union 10/10 times. We will definitely be using them from now on.

I realized that my debit card had been compromised while I was at work. Not being able to talk on the phone and in a panic, I pulled up the website and began a chat with Jennifer. She quickly deactivated my card and put a contact on the account that way when I go to get another card, I won't be charged a fee. I appreciate the timely response and accuracy.

I have been doing business with City credit Union for about 7 years and normally they are awesome. I recently got a personal loan from them and the beginning process went great. My issue is that they mailed out a check to me for the loan proceeds. I thought it was on that I still have not received the check after 3 days and so I reached out but I was told I needed to wait 5 to 7 business days before they can cancel the check and reissue a new one. I went back to my loan dogs just to confirm the address that they have email to and I see an old address listed on the closing docs. When I did the loan application I applied with my current address. Send an email to my loan officer on Saturday and by 11:00 a.m. on Monday I still hadn't heard anything so I called in and spoke with the representative letting them know the situation and so they spoke with the loan officer and confirmed that the check has been mailed to the wrong address but they had to get approval to reissue the check and allow me to pick it up. I find it frustrating that there was no apologies for the error made on City credit unions end. I gave the correct address on the loan application and they overlooked it and sent the check elsewhere and now it's been over a week. I'm waiting to have a call back and I'm told I should hear something by the end of the day and I was told that last week but no one called me and I had to call them. Really disappointed in how this has been handled.

I've been with CCU for at least 7 years, and it's been smooth sailing all the way through. I known so many friends who switched/complained about their banks, I'm so lucky I can't relate all these years in. Their staff (especially those on the live chat) are extremely knowledgeable and kind, a charming mixture. Highly recommended, earned every star.

I have been a member of the City Credit Union since the late 1980’s. I have always received great services. When you walk into the Ferguson location you will be greeted by Crystal who is full of energy, welcoming and professional! I miss Saturday’s service and hope one day It will return for customers who are not able to take care of banking business during the week.

The City Credit Union Ferguson Branch has great customer service. Crystal is polite, personable and works quickly to assist you. I would recommend this branch to anyone! The other staff should take notes from Crystal, specifically the male teller who seemed more occupied with putting up his "closed" sign than making the customer feel like the priority.

I love this location, staff are prompt and focused with completing tasks that same day. Even on the phone, people like Bryan (call center) really make you feel as if you're there and answer every question. Right then, right there. Really great service.

I worked directly with Ashlyn Williams, and she completely exceeded any and all expectations in the auto loan process. Very communicative, helpful, and attentive. Every part of the loan process was just absolutely simple, from the online application process to the quick direct email response all the way down to the e-sign documents. Not to mention the absolute LOWEST auto loan rate I was offered between 5 other CU. I actually left my other credit union of 6 years when I opened my account here. Plus, when I visited the Ferguson Road location to withdraw money everyone was nice and friendly and worked quickly to help anyone and everyone that came in.

I am very very thankful with Bryan and Marlu from collections I finally was able to pay off my car and they both worked with me especially when I lost my job due to the pandemic they helped very much this is an accomplishment to me a goal I accomplished they are very understandable highly recommend ask for them seriously Bryan and Marlu thanks guys

I had call the help desk on 2/22/22 and spoke with Samantha Delbosque to close an old account of my deceased mom. Samantha was very professional and showed empathy. Customer beware! You will not find a worse banking/savings experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have repeatedly asked for statements to be mailed to me since I live out of state. For some reason they can't make that happen! I am never late on my credit card payments, but too often the payment doesn't get credited until after the due date, or at all.. And their mobile app is the worst! I cannot see my credit card statement. I guess keeping a customer completely in the dark is a good revenue generating practice.

The chip in my Debit Card was not working anywhere. I went into the Ferguson Branch and spoke with Crystal. There were several people in front of me. She took time to help each one of us. She kept apologizing for having to wait, but there was not much of a wait time. She handled each one of us with a professional and courteous attitude. She issued me a new Debit Card and reminded me to change the accounts I paid with my old debit card.

I would like to say how much I appreciate Adrian Zamora he is so efficient, courteous helpful, very attentive and congenial. He is great!!!! Thanks so very much for Laquisha Hammond. I ran into some issues on my end with the way I was setting up my account. I called the Ferguson Road branch and spoke with Ms. Ayana but I was on my way out to work and, she said she would call me back. We all know that sometimes work can be busy especially, the first thing in the morning or shortly after you open up can be very busy and sometimes hectic but, Ayana took the time out to call me back and help me with my account. She made sure that I was all set up and ready to go so that I could do business with City Credit Union. I really appreciate the assistant hard work that Ms. Ayana put in to help me. She waited very patiently while my computer was loading. Not only did she wait patiently but, Ayana assisted and walked me through the details of what I needed to do in order to complete my process. Horrible customer experience! I got a mortgage through Prime Mortgage and it turned out to be through CCU. I paid the loan off in 30 days and canceled my membership (which I had to have to get loan). They continued to charge me monthly membership dues. I’ve called 3 times and visited branch once- was told I needed appointment to speak with some one and have to return. Still unresolved. Avoid if you can!!!
