Citizens Bank Thorn Run Rd Ext, Coraopolis

This is by far the worst branch of citizens that I have ever dealt with. I had an issue with a check taking a long time to clear from PNC called citizens 3 times was told each time that Nate would look into it and call me back immediately. On my 4th phone call they said there was nothing they could do. I called the Citizens inside the moon giant eagle and they said they’d look into it and call me back……great I thought. 10 minutes later they called and said they would remove all overdraft fees that were caused by the thorn run branch improperly handling my funds (which thorn run refused to do). If you’re going to bank with citizens deal with the branch in the moon giant eagle. They have the best customer service, branch manager and they truly go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied.

When I entered the bank, in Moon, all eyes were on me, even the employees sitting at their desks, at a distance-this was odd, and particularly so, as one man was overly attentive, and loud while asking if I needed assistance. When I finally reached a female teller, to ask her for rolls of quarters, she said she cannot offer me this service as I was not a customer of their bank. Still, she gave me a roll limited to $10. Every bank has their policies, but because there is an equal exchange of money, this should not be an issue, in my opinion. I just called another bank, and they will be happy to exchange my paper money for quarters. It only took one phone call, to one other bank, to solve my issues in acquiring change. My bank is not located in Pennsylvania, so I am very appreciative of this other bank.

Poor service for international people here

I went to deposit money into my checking account this morning and there was a ladder in front of the atm so I was forced to use the window. I gave a newer (younger female) employee $350 cash 5 $50 bills and 5 $20 bills. They were all larger bills, I counted it multiple times before handing it to her and was very careful with my money as I always am. Asked for her to deposit it into my checking she went to her drawer and came back with my card and a receipt stating that there was only $310. So I rang the bell when I noticed and she came back she went back to her drawer and stated that she could recount her drawer. I honestly ended up letting it go because clearly she needs it more than me but I won’t be returning to this location ever again. I’ve been going here for years and now will be looking around to change my bank.

First time banking on this side of town. Went to the drive through because it was raining. The service was quick, professional and conducted with a smile.

They would rather chat with the customers they know and ignore you for hours.
