My wife and I were about to give up on buying our first home. Our current mortgage company had made some collosal errors and we were about to not only lose on our contract, but also lose a chunk of due diligence. I remember being on the phone with my wife and telling her I had failed. It was one of the darkest days I can remember. Our Realtor recommended Christina Jaspers mortgage team (We worked with Christina, Jenny, and Ardashia) with 14 days to go until I was to be in breach. I was exhausted and unwilling to keep dealing with promises from mortgage companies and I was ready to quit. Christina got on the phone with me and said she would give everything she had to make this deal work and based on all of the information, we could get to the closing table. I rushed to supply all of the necessary information and the next two weeks left me stunned. By day one, an inspector was in. By day 3, underwriters were looking at the deal. By day 10, everyone had everything they needed for a clear to close on day 14. My wife and I closed with hours to spare and I am still in shock 5 months later. When Christina and her team went to work, it was a miracle. When her office staff took worried calls from my wife, they were gentle and sweet to her. In any universe, this was not a real estate transaction. In any other scenario, we were just dealing with "tough break, get em next time kiddo". We would have gone back to being renters and chasing the bloated market for years. Thankfully in this universe, Christina Jasper and her team exists. Miracles were performed, and two kids that prayed for a single break in their lives were given one. I've been fortunate to have experienced miracles in my life but this one nearly tops them all and the one phrase I can think to describe the entire experience was "Divine Providence".
