I processed a skip a pay with Cheif financial and the first time I completed it they said they never received it when I received confirmation on my end showing showing it was completed so they sent the forms again and told me not to make the payment since I had before. Then AGAIN they tell me they did not receive my documents and today I spoke to one of the reps and I told her I did this twice already and when we confirmed that the payment I thought that went to chief was something else I told her to send the documents again and I will pay the fee and she responds “there’s no again you never paid it” and repeated herself when all I said was send the documents AGAIN and I will PAY the fee. She was very rude and there was no accountability on their end and no apologies for their lack of upkeep. I’m actually super disappointed in this service I’ve never had a bad experience until now. This rep was rude argumentative and talked over me when I was speaking. I literally had to yell that I’m still speaking to get her to stop. This was gross and disappointing

Very disappointed as most are experiencing finacial hardships. Chief financial credit union will not work with customers on overdraft fee's. You are just another person coming through the door.

I have been with Chief Financial since 1998. I have stayed that long because they were the one helped me finance my very first car in the United States. Staff are extraordinary warm and very helpful. They are very good with alerts when they find something suspicious, they care about their clients like their own family. As the technology improved years gone by made banking easier with them, always available to answer your questions and help you in so many ways. The staffs go above and beyond to make their clients happy like me. I will forever be grateful with Chief Financial Credit Union with their excellent customer service, and will definitely recommend them. Thank you Chief!!!

I cannot come up with the words to describe the dynamic duo of Nadia & Sherie!!! If you're looking for a team that will treat everyone as if they are priority these are the ladies for you. The best customer service you will ever get in the industry. Both Sherie and Nadia take time out to educate the client and the realtor they are working with. I closed Both a conventional loan and refi transactions with no problems. They will work through any situation to see the client to the closing table. I love Chief Financial and wouldn't recommend anyone else but SHERIE & NADIA!!!!

I was looking for a credit union close by my home (Rochester Hills). Chief Financial and their staff have been fantastic and very customer friendly! From the day I walked in, I have had nothing but great service. Any questions I had were answered promptly. Allie has been the most friendly and attentive person anyone could ask for. Customer service by far is excellent! This was the best decision I have made and I would recommend this credit union to anyone.

Every time I go into this place, I'm treated like a friend. I've financed two loans through these guys and they were super accommodating through both occasions. Most recently I worked with Allie and she exceeded any expectation I had with the way she handled my needs as well as her understanding with my busy schedule. We were able to communicate face to face but also via phone and email which really helped me...she worked with me how I needed to be worked with in order to ensure I got the car I wanted. Very poor loan service. Holding a lien for a week after it's paid off just to be difficult. I was never late with a payment but get treated terrible for paying a loan off early.

This credit union was amazing to go through for my auto refinance! Such a quick and easy process and super friendly!! I already had a motorcycle financed through them and they called to update my info and told me I could save money... everything was done within a couple days and I never had to leave me house.

Outstanding customer service! I had the pleasure of working with Allie to finance my motorcycle, and she got me a great rate. We were able to take care of everything over the phone and through email in a timely fashion, saving me a long drive to the office. Nadia Luchtman refinanced my home loan this month and did an exceptional job. She not only found us the best rates, but was very honest and explained things every step of the way. She was not pushy like some mortgage people I dealt with before selecting her for our refinance. She kept to her word and was there to explain everything along the way. I know nothing about this business and she made me feel comfortable the entire time. If she was busy, her assistant Lana was very attentive to make sure our every need was met. It is hard to know who is honest and fair when refinancing because there are so many choices out there, but I can assure you that Nadia is very honest and fair AND will find you the best rates available! She is great....can’t say enough good things! We now have a refinanced mortgage at a great rate and a great monthly payment! Thank you :)

Chief Financial CU, with a special shout out to Allie at the Rochester Branch, has been awesome to work with. Recently Allie reached out to me to let me know Chief Financial CU could possibly save me money by refinancing a couple of loans I had other financial institutions, without extending the term of the loans and at a lower interest rate. I gave CFCU approval to pull my credit and prepare an offer, and I'm so glad I did. Allie was awesome to work with. 24 hours after her initial call I closed on refinancing the loans, all electronically. Allie definitely delivered. She, and her team at CFCU, reduced my monthly spend on the refinanced loans by hundreds of dollars. Thank You so much Allie and CFCU. Absolutely love this location. Every worker I came in contact with went out of their way to ensure I was able to get everything I needed. I am a full time college student and was in desperate need of a car loan. Dina went out of her way to help me out. I don't have many hard credit inquiries on my credit score, so there was a low chance of me being able to get approved for getting the loan on my own, I needed a cosigner. Not only was Dina able to work it out where I didn't' need a cosigner, but she was able to get me approved for more than I originally needed. I'm currently a student over at Rochester College, and I'm grateful for our partnership with Chief Financial. I highly recommend going to them for not only loans but even to start a checking or savings account. Beyond grateful for how helpful and kind everyone was!
