My first ever car purchase experience was at this Chevy Chase Acura of Bethesda. It was not an 80 thousands dollar car I purchased. Rather less than 20k but I was treated as if I was buying the most expensive car on the floor. I can't say enough about the customer service at this dealership. I appreciate taking my truck to be serviced at Chevy Chase Acura. The staff is courteous and they provide excellent service. They changed my oil, checked all of my fluids, checked my tires and ran various other tests to make sure that my truck was running efficiently. Was a fairly decent experience. Was thankful I wasn’t harassed while waiting to get put in a new car. Anyways, I went there for routine A1 service. I was asked about additional service (wheel balancing) and specify said I was not interested. When I ask given the bill it included the wheel balancing. I refused to pay for the service that I specifically refused and they thankfully honored that. Jeff the Tech I was working with, was excellent for getting that whole thing fixed up. However, I couldn’t help but feel like a less assertive person would have just accepted the service department's attempt to overlook my request and cost themselves money. (Like I feel about most dealerships) This made me feel like I couldn’t trust them too much. It felt like yet another attempt to get extra money anywhere they could. I guess I would go back again because I’ll likely need maintenance done and there aren’t that many other Acura dealerships in my area of MD part of the DMV.

I am so satisfied with the services at Chevy Chase Acura. This was my first visit and Mario took great care of my needs. Although it was a routine visit and under warranty he addressed all my concerns. Most importantly he proactively corrected a charge discrepancy I didn't observe. My service advisor is Rick Aldrige and he is fantastic. When you call anyone who answers is always very polite. I have to wait for my car while it’s being serviced because Chevy Chase Acura is so far from where I live. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. When I bought my car the sales person was Fred, and he made the experience easy, fast and great. I can’t say enough good about them.

My husband and I recently had a terrible experience that left us without our vehicle unexpectedly and due to miscommunication we were left upset and confused. I'm happy to say that since that experience, Chevy Chase Acura has attempted to make right the situation. I took my 2020 TLX in for routine maintenance on 4/26/22. David Petty met me at my car before I even got out, greeted me and told me that he would be the one who would be taking care of my maintenance needs that day. I went upstairs to the customer waiting area to do some office work. David called me once and visited me in person once to keep me informed about where my car was in the process. David is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and was easily able to answer any questions I had. He is very customer service oriented and is a guy who gets things done. I will be requesting David everytime I make a service appointment.

I was told to fill out financing application on Friday the 4th with Carlos Carrea for a VW GTI and he told he would get back to me in the morning on Saturday the 5th. In my experience a credit approval does not take more than 24 hours from a dealership. Carlos then called me at 330 pm Saturday to inform me “whoops sorry that car was sold this morning” and without being asked to put a deposit or any type of hold on the vehicle like a normal dealership would. While another customer was able to come in during morning hours and get approved right away puts a very bad taste in my mouth for customers who do not live in the state were looking to make the purchase over the phone. I feel bad for all future customers to this dealership that are in a similar position. Beware!

Good car inventory, great sales team, terrible financing they tried to add all kind of fees that I never heard of. When i said that i will use my bank for the loan they never called me back and sold the car to someone else. The loan i got trough them was double the interest rate i got from other banks.

Okay stuff. didnt really help with getting any deals or understand the needs from My perspective and kept talking about the perks of the car which I didnt ask for or we had already gone over. The sales person could have been a bit more friendly and explained the number for the car to me a little better. at one point even he didnt know how the number or msrp was that high compared to the window sheet in the showroom.

3 times I have been there for a new car service. The first 2 times, it took them 4 hrs to just change oil. The last time, my new car broken down on the way back. After towing my car back to them, they said it was because they made a mistake by updating the software. I had to pay Uber to work and to go back to them to pick up my car. I paid for their mistake. Tried to contact the manager. No response after a week. I don’t think they will do anything. Will not go back there! ************* 2 more weeks now and emailed the manager like he responded here. No response from anyone. I guess they responded here only because they want the people to see they responded. But no. They don’t do anything…

Though there were some expensive repairs needed for my vehicle, I believe the managers and technicians involved were helpful in finding ways to reduce the costs. I have been driving my vehicle for a week now and it seems all is well. Not very customer friendly but the sales rep who helped me was. Update 11/30/2021- Mr. Frederick Ginwright was the sales rep who assisted me. As stated before, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car I wanted to purchase, but it seems as if Chevy Chase Acura as a whole is not willing to work with their customers. When I left, I went to Acura of Laurel. Not only did I get the color I wanted, I got the package I wanted, the price I wanted for my trade-in, and the car note where I needed it to be all because Acura of Laurel was willing to work with the customer and give in a little. Now they have a customer for life and I will definitely refer my friends to them when they are in the market for a new car. Thanks Acura of Laurel!

My schedule is crazy, hectic and sometimes so congested I don’t have time to squeeze anything extra in. With that, I am posting this one month after my purchase. My vehicle was totaled out and I had to move quickly with a replacement vehicle that would work for my children and I. I knew that I wanted to have a SUV as my previous vehicle was one. My time was limited and my budget was set. I inquired about a used car on the website and received a call same day. Emanuel my sales rep matched my pace and energy and scheduled me an appointment for next day. He discovered my needs in the quick call we had and even called to confirm our appointment the next day. When I arrived, he not only had the car pulled to the front but asked for my keys to the rental I was driving to get the car seat out. He remembered that I said I needed space for my car seats and he placed them inside for me to get a true feel of the space. He once again matched my energy and pace and our test drive was in motion. Emanuel was knowledgeable on the warranties and service packages enough to gather the more important items I required. He then got me to the paperwork portion I needed and also helped me maximize my short time allotted to complete the transaction. While I went to grab the payment from the bank, Emanuel went and put a full tank of gas in the vehicle and sent it over for detail. Once I was back, the car was not finished and I needed to get back to work so Emanuel went one step further that will always be the above and beyond memory for me. He allowed me to head back to work (5 minutes away) and brought my mew vehicle to me. This was the best service I have ever experienced when purchasing a car! Emanuel also did follow ups to ensure my experience with my vehicle was still as pleasurable as my first time driving it away. I am thankful I found my new vehicle at Chevy Chase Acura with Emanuel.

I had an awesome experience with the Chevy Chase Acura. I am a Costco member so I went through their Auto Sales Program for a search of what I wanted. Within 30 minutes after I had submitted by application I got a call from the senior salesman and I scheduled an appointment. My experience with this dealership service department was terrible. I've been taking my car for service since 2017, and this was yet one of the worst experiences ever. To get started - I scheduled a pickup for 8 am and had to call them after 8 to find out the status of the pickup. It seemed as though they were not aware of the appointment. The driver finally came around 8:55 am. Moving forward - I waited for 6 ( 3:00 pm) hours before calling the service department to find out the status of my car. And he stated that someone would contact me with that information. Again, I waited for 2 1/2 (5:15 pm) hours before I got the call, and the individual who called had no status or updates to report to me. He finally emailed me an analysis of my car. Another issue on their end was trying to find a driver to bring my car back to my home - unbelievable! When they finally got a driver, the driver asked what time would be the latest to bring my car back. I gave him 9 pm - I'm agitated at this time. I asked the gentleman - Did my vehicle go through the car wash, and he answered yes but, it didn't. I could not see if the car had been washed because it was evening and too dark to see. The following day prevailed - the car was much dirtier than before the service maintenance. The bottom line is the service department had my vehicle for over 12 hours only to rotate my tires and an oil change. I'll be looking for a different dealership to service my car the next time.

Leasing my new RDX and trading in my vehicle with Chevy Chase Acura was the most pleasant and seamless experience I’ve ever encountered with a dealership (and I have purchased or leased a new vehicle every 2-3 years since 1998). I explained and was given exactly what I wanted and received zero pushback or attempts to upsell or change my mind. I was offered the full KBB value for my trade and given all of incentives advertised on their website that I qualified for. I live 90 miles away from the dealership and was able to process all of the paperwork remotely so that when I arrived to pick up my gorgeous new vehicle, the only thing we had to cover was how to use all the fun gadgets and controls. David (my salesman) and Maciring (my finance manager) made the whole process quick and painless - the opposite of a typical experience as most of us know all too well. I cannot say enough about how amazing my experience was and how highly I recommend this dealership (or at least the personnel I had the pleasure of working with).

I Arrived at 7:30 AM but there was a long line of cars with only one person Working in the service department. Joseph was very nice and helpful but he could only do so much. I had to wait 30 minutes before he could get to me. It seems that day many people called in sick or something like that. Your office needs to develop a back up strategy to avoid situations like that in the future. Just to make it clear the service I got from Joseph when he got to me was very courteous and professional, but after a 30 minute wait I was quite irritated as I had to Rush back home using the shuttle service to participate in a video conference.

I have had the WORST EXPERIENCE in Service. I've have a TL and a MDX. I'M hoping it isn't a discrimanation thing 😔 I was lied to and treated unfairly. Let me further clarify as the appears to be a misunderstanding: my problem isn't with the car wash, but the principal of the lie. 10/4 I came back to this place again. Spent money on a rotation and oil change. I don't think they did either. I took a picture of my tire pressure before I gave it to them and after... the lowest tire was in the same place! I called to complain they said the would fix it.... charged me 350..... and when I got back the tire is still in the same place and they never filled my tires!!! Cheats or racist???

-Body Shop Review- The estimate for repairs was lower than expected, the work was completed faster than expected. Stan, who handles claims involving our insurance company at CC Acura, even called the night before it was done to let us know it would be done the next day. The car was cleaned inside and out before it was returned. They even have a little waiting room with coffee, tea, water and soda while you wait for them to pull the car up when leaving. Enterprise rentals (actual location down Wisconsin near Bradley - adjacent old WSC gym) delivers and picks up from this location. Can't really ask for anything more.

I am shopping for a new car and visited this dealership this morning. Within minutes of walking into the showroom, my wife and I figured out that we were not going to buy a car from them. When we walked in, the employee at the front was eating at his desk and of course not wearing a mask. He put his mask on when we approached him, but still had his mouth full as we started talking to him. Then we were greeted by a salesperson, Mike, whose demeanor and super casual clothing was not what you would expect in a dealership selling luxury cars. On top of that, he was wearing his mask under his nose, which defeats the purpose of wearing a mask, and another employee was walking around the showroom without a mask. We asked information about the models we were interested in, but he gave us only very generic information about the different packages and handed us a low-quality and unreadable photocopy of a flyer with information about what was included in each package. When we pointed out that the flyer was difficult to read, he told we could go online. At this point, we were almost going to leave, but decided to go for at test drive. Before entering the car, my wife asked him to make sure his mask was covering his nose, since we were going to be in an enclosed space. He seemed visibly annoyed by this request and reluctantly complied. As soon as we sat in the car, he pulled his mask down, and I asked him again to cover his nose, but he complained he couldn't see with his mask up (he was wearing glasses, but so did my wife who was double-masked). At that point I told him "We are done!" and exited the vehicle and left. He offered us to test drive on our own, but we informed him that there was no chance we were going to give him our business. Based on my experience today, I believe this place is overrated. If you are going to spend $50k or more for a high-end car, you should expect nothing less than an exceptional level of service.

After having getting fantastic service for sox years at this location I’m wrapping up one of the worst customer experiences in years. I have brought car in twice for significant brake noise and been told there is no issue. However the service and communication has been terrible especially in comparison to normal experience. It took five call simply to get my car picked up with no call backs from Joe my advisor, and now they have missed the window for dropping off my car and when I called to find out when it was coming in I was told it would be soon and they did not know; after which Jermaine hung up on me (first time from a luxury service center). I don’t know what is going on, but not sticking around to find out. Love the brand; but the service center probably just lost the dealership my next car.

My 2013 Acura TL was having a power steering issue and Rick did his research and it turned out to be a recall. They fixed the EPS unit for free. Rick was great throughout the whole process and everyone else at the dealership was very helpful!

I’m not gonna lie I think I got good service but as a woman who knows nothing about cars. It’s the lack of attention to detail things that they may overlook but it is an issue for us. Right now I got my car back from an accident and my hood struts don’t work so the bonnet of my car or the hood of my car can’t stay up. The mechanic had to notice this but I guess it wasn’t a big issue for them but it’s an issue for me. I bought the car 02/21 pre certified. Now I have to come out of pocket for something that the insurance most Bobby should’ve paid for.

Made an appointment for an oil change .... Appointment time was 12:30pm ... got there 12:17 .... Checked car in ... went to waiting room. This was my first time here so I was like let's see how they do. 2:10pm nothing !!!! I text the service advisor and ask on the ETA And I get a list of repairs that they recommend @ 2:15.... My car had not even been attended to 2 hrs in ..until I text to ask on the ETA. I do expect to wait , but what's the point of an appointment? I was running late so I walked down to pick up car oil changed or not .... Took 10 min to figure who had my RO... it was terrible and the service guy was kinda rude ( he did not know I could hear him and he said ...she can wait.) I will not be going back. Communicate with the customers as they wait 2hrs is too long to have nothing done when one has an appointment... disappointed !

I have taken my current Acura and my last Acura here for all of my service (and unfortunately, occasional body shop needs). They are professional, prompt, and courteous with all of their clients. And, they return your car washed! I truly appreciate how they make me feel like I'm the only customer there, despite how busy I can imagine they are. Thank you! Chevy Chase Acura is a very trustworthy establishment, dedicated to giving you great deals and a great service on new and used Acura vehicles. I promise I don't work there; I'm just a very happy customer. I'll tell you a little bit about my experience at Chevy Chase Acura: For the past month, I searched around Maryland, DC, and Virginia to purchase a car; I visited Acura, Lexus, Volvo, Chevy, Toyota, Subaru, Kia, and a multitude of used car dealerships. I liked some of the dealerships, such as Lexus, Volvo, and Kia, and I found them to be pleasant experiences. At other dealerships, it seemed like the sales associates were at war, with a single-minded focus on reaching their hands down my pockets. Chevy Chase Acura was breath of fresh air compared to the stereotypes about car dealerships. My sales associate, Moe Nessem, was dedicated to providing the best possible service. Moe was very knowledgeable - Moe answered all of my questions about the vehicle I was interested in with full disclosure, provided detailed information about the vehicle's maintenance history, and remembered exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I experienced with Moe and some of the other associates was waiting for long periods of time -- Moe and the finance manager seemed over encumbered with other customers. At one point, I had to wait for almost an hour for the finance manager. That said, the finance manager, Mas was very honest, and I particularly enjoyed strategizing with him about ways to help me save money (Mas, I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong) All in all, I had a terrific experience with Chevy Chase Acura. Everyone I met at Chevy Chase Acura appears knowledgeable, is honest, and has fine sense of humor. I'll attach photos of the vehicle I purchased, with a short description: Used 2015 Acura TLX - 4 Cylinder with Technology Package This TLX is beautiful and in mint condition - I plan to keep it that way. The TLX has Honda reliability and is very comfortable. The fuel economy is good for a car in this class, but that doesn't take anything away from its power; It's exceptionally fun to drive, with Sport and Sport+ mode for increased speed and dynamic handling. The only issue I have with this vehicle is the infotainment system - This model needs Apple Car Play, and the USB connection interferes with the Bluetooth system. To be fair, it's a 6-year old model. Other than that, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase from Chevy Chase Acura.

This was my first time at this Acura service location. Joseph was exceptional. He was very personable, kind and professional, and ensured I was constantly up dated on the status of my car. I will definitely continue to service my car at this location. The waiting area was clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. I was able to work by connecting my laptop to the free wifi. It was a nice experience. Didn't take too long for my service either.

Very bad and non professional experience,after booking my 2022 MDX accura 1st maintenance through Acura USA website , and getting my confirmation emails the day before and three hours before my time for opened online check in , when I have arrived there they said your appointment is canceled because we are not accepting the scheduling through Accura USA, it is not our website, and they plot you the time out of our working hours!! Friendly service, careless mechanics. We take our truck there for servincing, however the last 2 visits this year, they broke the rear wiper (and replaced) and I just found today, that after our last oil change, they either did not secure the Engine Oil Fill Cap or never replaced it after they changed the oil because it is NOT there. I will go purchase another one, however that should not have happened.....I mean seriously, they are changing the oil how do you not replace the cap...falls in the 'You have 1 Job' category.

Overall, I was happy with my purchase, but felt the process of selling my car and buying a car took a bit longer than usual and the transparency wasn’t completely there. Upon closing the deal, the paperwork held several errors and I wasn’t completely aware of what I was signing until I read the paperwork more thoroughly myself; stronger explanations would have been helpful upfront. My sales rep, who was actually a product specialist was great though. Favian T was able to help me when I had questions and provided excellent customer service. Overall though, as said earlier, happy with my purchase!

I was happy with the service advisor and mechanic work done to my vehicle. However, as a luxury dealership I expect a better auto detail experience. My vehicle was returned to me with fingerprints (dirty prints) throughout my vehicle. They assured me they had washed/vac my car, but the windows were dirty, spots ALL over my vehicle and no interior vacuum had been done. So I was left extremely disappointed with the dealership for this reason, mostly because I get better auto detailing service from a Honda dealer in Virginia. I hope they do better moving forward, but I'll probably have my vehicle serviced in VA from now on.
