I really have no idea how my experience can be in such contrast with those before me, but black and white doesn't begin to describe it. I found Phil to be incredibly professional and just a super nice guy. Always responded to my calls and emails the same day, usually within the hour. I purchased a 2018 Cobia 277 in Naples, Florida and Phil made the transaction essentially flawless. His fee was disclosed and frankly is a fraction of what I was willing to pay, considering how easy he made this. I closed on my boat in approximately two weeks and it only took that long because of Christmas and New Years. Phil has different lending programs, if you have credit issues like some of those posters before me, higher interest rates are to be expected. If you have good credit, don't be afraid to call, you'll be blown away.

This is the most rude, unprofessional, nasty, inconsiderate person i have ever spoken to in my life. I called to inquire about a loan for a boat we are buying from a friend. We are getting a great deal, so i had questions on how much i could get a loan for and what we should pay for a down payment. This jerk immediately started yelling at me about how i didn't read the website and i need to stop bothering him. I again decided to try to reason with him and express my concerns, he then told me that i had no clue about a boat loan and he didn't want to deal with me. Of course i have no clue, i dont own a boat and I'm not a boat loan broker. I would never deal with this company in my life, EVER! Navy fed happily gave me the loan!

After reading these reviews my husband and I were hesitant to even apply. But, wow were we surprised! Not only was the process smooth and painless. The customer service was outstanding. We applied on a Monday and got financed and closed on our boat by Friday. I would absolutely recommend Phil and his team to help anyone with a boat loan. We have already referred a lot of friends and will continue to do so.

We just want to tell everyone, that this co. is a joke, they are very unprofessional, they accused us of fraud when we only did what he told us to do, we, They accused a lot of people we know who used this co. of the same thing. He insulted us, come to find out he never called our Bank, all he did was pull our credit and make our credit score lower than what it was. We had excellent credit until this joker played his games, Don't trust this co. Heed the warning. They only tell you a bunch of nonsense, he wasted one wk of our time when we could have went to a professional co., He told my me and my wife exactly what to do about the contract for our camper, He blamed it on us and accused us of horrible things we never would have thought of, This is a armature co. and a scam, Please listen folks, avoid this co. or you'll be sorry. Beware, I noticed on all their rating everyone gave them a one star, this joker of a co. only gave everyone 7% which which stinks, this co. thinks they can get away with their nonsense, Go to Good Sam, they are an excellent co. they got us accepted within an 1 hr. Don't go to Chesapeake financial, Once was enough for us. Don't waste your time, you are just a joke to them. Hope this rating helps.
