Chase Bank Reviews

Their ATMs are always down/broken… even when you go inside no one greets you. This is one of the worst chase banks in the city. Terrible ATM and customer service. I might move to another bank.

Great customer service on my issue on bank statement. No other concerns.

I hate that i have to give a star at all. Worst chase bank in Louisville. Set up an account for my son, was promised he would receive his atm card within 7 - 10 days. 12 days later, after 5 different chase representatives, i was told it was never processed and to come back in and try again. 🤷🏼♀️ Great, just what i wanted to do with what little spare time i have in my day.

I love any of the chase locations ! Whether you have 12 cents or 1200 , always treated with the upmost respect. Each rep is more than ready to answer of your questions.

I will NEVER bank here again! I work at a Fortune 500 company. My coworkers who bank and MULTIPLE competing banks and credit unions get their paycheck automatically deposited on Wednesdays. At Chase, I had to wait until Friday for my direct deposit to hit. The same with stimulus payments. Coworkers deposits made were made 4 days prior to Chase! Chase allowed the water company to illegally take auto-pay deductions from my account after I had stopped them bouncing checks and damaging my credit scores...TWICE! When my son passed away and I had to take a medical leave from work, since I couldn't afford to keep their unreasonably high $1,500 minimum balance and didn't have 2 direct deposits a month due to lack of work, Chase hit me with monthly fees while my other 2 banks only required a $5 minimum balance and no direct deposits. When my checking account fell below $300 Chase again charged me monthly fees while my other 2 banks only required a $5 balance. Finally, when I grocery shop, I REFUSE to use self check outs...I DON'T WORK FOR THEM! I REFUSE to use automated teller machines in the lobby that cut out human jobs! One Chase location near me is entirely self service, while this location is already 50% self serve cutting out jobs. I will take ALL of my business elsewhere! And Chase STILL owes me late fees they said they would reverse and never did. Thanks for nothing!

I parked in front of the bank before driving to the ATM to get my card out of my purse and before pulling in the drive through lane. It was past two o'clock PM of Saturday and a Bank officer got out of the door and offered to help me before closing the door. I told her I only needed ATM service at that point. I was very impressed of her professionalism to go an extra mile to help bank clients even if it was past bank hours. I would like to give this bank five stars! I had an opposite experience with a different local bank (Federal Savings Bank). I arrived at the driving through at exactly two o'clock PM of Saturday to remit my monthly car payment due that day. Unfortunately, the bank teller at the window told me they were already closed.

A friend reimbursed me with a check from Chase bank. I went to a local Chase to cash this check. There were no drive thru lanes, only ATM's. I went inside and waited about 5 minutes, as there were only two teller Windows open, only to be told that there was an $8 charge to cash the check because I wasn't a Chase bank customer! I told the teller that I was glad I wasn't and I took the check to my bank. How rediculous is this. I would never, ever want to be a Chase customer. I wouldn't even give this bank a star, but it won't let you post a comment unless you do. How sad Chase!
