Chase Bank Georgia Ave, Silver Spring

Needed a cashiers check for our mortgage downpayment, extremely rude manager. I ended up having to take a second PTO day from work and wear nicer clothes before they approved access to my OWN money!! AVOID THIS BRANCH

Abdul was a very helpful and knowledgeable banker. He was patient and listened to us carefully, provided suggestions and solutions without pressure. I was going to close my account but changed my mind. Chase you win by having professional employee like Abdul.

Eyasu Theodros, the least helpful banker that I never met, ever. He is the rudest of all manners. Please avoid to have appointment with him at all times.

When my banker opened my account, he made computational and spelling mistakes that would've adversely affected me had I not caught them immediately. The bank also held my funds for almost a month in part because it neglected to ask for authorization documents when I opened the account. I threatened to close my account if it didn't lift the hold that day, and the bank complied. Funny how that works...

Came in to set up a joint account with my fiancé. Seth was very nice and welcoming (and funny!). We even unfortunately ran over the 1pm close time and did not feel like a burden or an inconvenience at all. Eyasu helped us set up our account without issue and was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Great customer service all the way around. They made the process so easy and pleasant.

I had the opportunity open my first checking account with my mother. I had a fantastic experience with the bank I was welcome by Seth at the door he gave us a nice welcoming he asked us for our name and offered us a seat in the lobby. He introduced us to a banker called Kevin. As a new customer to chase Kevin made banking easy with me and my mother especially with their technology ( chase mobile app) as my mother is new to technology, so Kevin took some time to share with my mother on how to use the app my feel in love with the bank after multiple questions my mother asked Kevin. Seth (branch manager) later on came in and thank us for choosing chase and gave us a genuinely welcome and made us felt in love with the branch he also engaged a nice conversation with my younger sister he also gave us a gift of appreciation (coffee mug). I highly recommend branch manager Seth and banker Kevin to all the community in sliver spring.

The business banker is extremely unprofessional. I have been in branches across the nation and worked with various business bankers. This is the worst branch I have ever visited. Eyasu Theodros has literally ruined my expectations and high regard I have for Chase. I have opened multiple different accounts with Chase. I live 4 blocks from this branch and The vestibule is never open after business hours so there is no ATM functionality. There is no customer parking long-term or short term. I hate writing negative reviews; however, I am livid. At no point should someone be aggressive towards you, especially the person you're entrusting your deposits.

It’s funny how this bank will look at your way of dressing to judge u . Came to open a business account and how’s he looking at me like do u have 2000 to open the account ? If not get your Mc & dot ready first then u come back and open the account .. 🤦‍♂️ it’s sad and funny to see this kind of people in this bank cos I’m African so I don’t look like someone who have 2000 to open the business account . 🤣🤣🤣 done with this bank

The branch operates at a bare minimum. There is no access to the ATMs, and it always remains closed. After driving and parking my car around a little further(no parking available for the bank), and walking to the bank, now for a third time, the ATM vestibule and the bank are mostly closed. All I need is access to my money. Despite getting excited when Chase opened their Silver Spring branch, this branch never gave me any meaningful service. I think this branch ought to be closed.

Useless. I am a social worker contacted this branch to find out if my homeless customer could overdraft he account until her next pay day. Was given the run around. I use credit with chase but don't bank with them personally. I would advise the manager to train his bankers on how to provide proper customer service and be able to answer basic questions.
