    I went through the drive through around 3:45 one afternoon, sat for 15 minutes waiting for some kind of approval on a check and they still put a 7 business day hold on the check. On top of that I got almost to my appointment and they called saying that the teller kept my I’d and money card. I went back 4 days later (because I stay busy) and they had already shredded my money card and sent my I.D. Back to dmv to be destroyed. I would at least recommend a different location. I’m probably going to be closing my accounts out with Chartway over this. It is really inconvenient to not have that I.D. And have to get a new bank card over a teller not giving me my stuff back!!

    Chartway is by far the worst of the multiple bank accounts I have. Both from the consistent lack of detail at the branch to the lack of service on the phone. They set up auto-draft protection as they call it, without my knowledge but who knows, and then charge you 30$ each time rather than let it go insufficient funds and not let the transaction go through. So they are stealing $30 each time knowing you don't have the money there to cover. I have a Fulton Bank account as well - set up this one on the fly because they loaned money to buy a truck. Paid it off and leaving this bank. They are crooks. You are all getting taken to the bank - no pun intended.

    If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. I was looking to apply for cc a few mths back and never finished the application online by choice. I was called the next morning and told them that I backed out (I never pressed the send button )and they still did the application as I saw it immediately on my credit report. I told them since it was already there, just do it and I was offered $2500 which, too me, was a slap in the face because I have good credit. I told them to forget it & after many emails I've been told it won't come off my credit report for 2yrs. I am throughly disgusted with this and will continue to post about it for the next 2yrs if need be. (1yr & 7mths now). It lowered my credit score because of the ping & I never got the cc. A week later, I received a letter saying I was denied, really?? What a joke !!!

    I see why they are everyone's last choice for banking around here. Very poor client services. My husband went to this shared branch location to make a withdraw and they refused to help him and instead told him to use the ATM for a withdrawal that couldn't even be done at the ATM. Very unprofessional and rude. They weren't busy and it absolutely says they are a shared branch so if this is how they are on simple transactions I can only imagine how rude, impatient, and unhelpful they are regularly. Will not even consider transferring my banking there anymore or recommend to anyone else. There are a ton of credit unions around this area that actually value clients.

    If I could give this credit union a negative 000 I would. Their customer service skills are worse than Walmart! The manager’s are incompetent and if you didn’t know, they have a TPA for their fraud dept that doesn’t document details appropriately so they accuse you of lying. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to my worst enemy! To make someone wait 3 weeks for money that was taken due to an acct being hacked and THEN to tell you “you didn’t provide enough documentation” when their illustrious so called tpa “fraud dept” didn’t document nor tell you that you needed to submit the actual emails proving what happened or provide a fax number is beyond me. Maybe to them $250 isn’t a lot of money, but to me, that is several bills that could be paid. There is an obnoxious person that answers the phone to branch and lies to the manager advising customers are yelling when in fact they are not. They are only trying to get assistance from a manager who should be willing to assist with something like this. However, manager Alyssa seems to have more important things to do than assisting their customers. What money I do have in there, not that it matters to them, will be withdrawn and put in another bank. They need to takes notes from Navy Federal and may have an actual Chartway Fraud dept instead of one that “attempts” to provide so called services to many. STAY AWAY FROM THIS credit union!

    Had to go to the ATM. Not sure what kinds of bank doesn't automatically let you deposit cash with your ATM card, but this bank makes you fill out a deposit slip with your account info inside an envelope, and then deposit that. Not only did they not provide deposit slots at the ATM, IDK my account info of the top of my head! Never have a problem depositing money at my other bank. 😞

    it makes no sense at all how long you have to be on hold just to get some information. It's as if they don't even want to pick up the phone. Usually i don't get frustrated enough to write a review but it ALWAYS takes 20min or so to just get on the phone with someone. when i get my car paid off i'm never doing business with them again.

    Customer service is terrible . Deanna siegrist was extremely rude and in pleasant! She made me feel very uncomfortable and made me feel like I needed to close my account. I would not recommend Chartway to no one !
