I could not have asked for better service at a bank than what I received at Central Bank on South Glenstone! Gracie was kind, compassionate, caring, and patient as we changed my sister’s Account information due to the death of her husband. Once she saw my power of attorney document she walked us through all the necessary changes with complete professionalism. We felt very comfortable in knowing that she knew what she was doing and did it with confidence. I have been in a couple of times since our initial experience with Gracie and she answered my questions and did not make me feel inadequate in my understanding but just showed me where I was confused. I would recommend this bank. I also have my personal account at another Central Bank location. However, if I need to speak to someone about my account, I will go talk to Gracie and so should you!

Central Bank is a strong supporter of nonprofit community organizations in Springfield, not only with monetary support, but with volunteer time and talent. They truly do invest in strengthening the community they serve. We appreciate their ongoing support!

I came in to inquire about a new account and was welcomed to a very nice and clean environment. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. When we sat down to see what best fit my needs, it was all explained and straightforward and professional. I had been told this was a great place to bank and I believe it with what I've seen so far. Looking forward to exploring some of the other services they offer that I wasn't used to getting from my current bank.

I was in there a few weeks ago to get a new debit card. I believe the gentleman that helped me was Eric? Anyway, he was totally amazing and helpful and made me feel comfortable with him right away. I felt like I was talking to one of my friends and not someone at the bank. He was so detail oriented, an excellent communicator, and really showed concern that I had lost my debit card. He paid close attention to detail to assure me that no transactions had been made except ones that I had authorized up until I lost my old debit card. This guy was awesome and central bank is so lucky to have such an upbeat and caring person working there!!

I’m a white woman and I went with my black best friend to deposit our checks. I deposited mine AND got cash back no problem, no questions asked even without having matching funds in my account. However, when my best friend deposited his and decided he wanted cash back too, they refused to give it to him because he “didn’t have matching funds in his account.” ALSO just a tid bit of info, he has never gone to that bank and they have never seen him...so I’m gonna assume my white privilege left me non questionable and left him with no cash for the rest of the day. NEVER going to this bank EVER again.

Went to this bank for a cash advance. When I entered the lobby the lady behind the desk didn't want to speak to me. I called this location before I went in so, I knew that they could do the cash advance because I have an account here. This was my first time at this location and I didn't know where to go, so the first person you see is supposed to be friendly and assist, but, she reluctantly did so. After I made it pass the lady at the front desk everyone else was very nice and helpful. If it matters my cash advance wasn't a small amount which is why I went inside. To the young lady sitting behind the desk, don't "judge a book by its cover." I guarantee I make more than you in my sleep, and I still treated you with more respect than you did me.

Very poor customer service, unprofessional! Almost cost me a sell of a vehicle! Extremely upset!!! When the Teller Superviser Cindy Reed said we would have to speak with the branch manager, the branch manger closed her door! Highly offended and will not ever conduct business in this branch.

Vicky Johnson was very helpful in closing out brother-in-law's lockbox and checking account!

I closed and opened a new account (to transfer from when I was a minor to an adult banking account). It went by super fast! Vicky Johnson was very helpful and explained everything perfectly! Amazing service!
