I never thought I would be so passionate about loving a bank but this place is awesome, aside from smooth banking with awesome perks the staff is beyond friendly and so personable, they know me and what I do for work, and always ask questions about specific things that I can't believe they remember I mentioned, its such a great environment I always leave with a smile on my face.

I have always turned to CBC for my auto loans and personal loans due to their great interest rates and customer service. I have been banking with them for years and will continue to do so. I highly highly recommend them!

The customer service here is great, let me start with that. What they need is better facilities. If you have to go to the ATM, which is the only one in town, there’s about a 50/50 chance it’ll be broken; this has been going on for awhile now. Which means if you have to do any banking outside of business hours or during all the closures due to the remodel, you’re driving to Oxnard. Hugely wasteful of time and money alike. This is a great bank with great rates, but the ATM situation badly needs to be addressed because it’s unacceptable at this point.

It’s funny this is a “credit union”. $7 a month for a checking account? Really? How is that supposed to make it “easy”? Especially on my already budgeted finances? Rates here aren’t the best in town. The staff here seems like they could care less about trying to help, with the exception of 1 or 2. There’s always new faces, which isn’t a good sign. All the construction going on here is a nightmare. The parking lot is even smaller than it was before, making it inconvenient since I need to physically get off and step foot into a branch to unlock/reset my password to my online banking. Plain stupid if you ask me. Also, if you’re looking for a functioning ATM, look elsewhere. This one is always down or never gives me my cash, resulting in an even bigger headache, since, again, I need to visit the branch to see what went wrong. Mind you, I work the hours they are open: 9:30-6. Those hours are just plain horrible. Join another credit union, any other one actually. You’ll be far better off, trust me! You’ll thank me!

Maria Borton is very helpful since the first time my mother applied for a Personal Loan last year. And now my father needed a personal loan and I contacted Maria, she is always willing to help and accommodate us. Laura at CBC Federal Credit Union provides excellent Customer Service. Despite the office location being remodeled, she is extremely helpful, efficient, upbeat and professional. Her assistance, knowledge and demeanor are outstanding. So don’t let the temporary remodel, which is nearly complete, deter you from patronizing this branch. My story actually starts a long time ago in November 2005. I was around 22 years old, financing my first vehicle. I was approved for one rate. Which was actually pretty good. When I sat down with the finance lady doing the loan. The payment was quite low I said I wanted to hire payment so I could pay it off my truck faster. She said no problem, it wasn't until about a year into alone I realized what she had done. She had just increased my interest rate. I was blatantly taken advantage of. I highly advise any young person going into this Credit Union be careful. Don't be as naive and trusting as I was.
