My husband and I were directed to work with castle and Cooke mortgage because our credit Union directed us to them for the specific loan we needed. The communication with Jodie since the very beginning has been horrendous. I do not recommend working with her if you do go through them.

Jodie is the BEST mortgage specialist...ever. Enough said. Just call her. She's the only one we will deal with (after learning the hard way). She and her family have been our family's choice for 30+ years.

I can’t say enough about Taylor Madsen and Leif Eastvold. They are the dream team when you don’t know where to start or your dreams are just out of reach. Not only did they make my dream a reality, but they did it with such kindness and no pressure or feeling of judgement when my credit needed work. These 2 are the ones you want in your corner. If clear communication, honesty, and problem solvers are who you’re looking for you won’t find better!

We would recommend Jessie Van Wagoner to anyone and everyone! He is friendly, knowledgeable and has a heart of gold… He made our loan acquiring experience seamless… Though we have never met him in person (we worked over the phone and via email correspondence because we live in different towns) we feel like we’ve known him for years! Jodie was professional and was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions quickly and was patient with us as we tried to understand everything. She ran numbers multiple wines to get us our very best option with the type of loan and multiple scenarios. Over I would highly recommend her and this awesome company!!

Trish and her team at Castle & Cooke were nothing short of amazing. She made the lending process stress-free, from start to finish, and made a very hard process seem easy. Trish is incredibly personable and knowledgeable, and always made me feel like my loan was her priority. I can’t say enough for her communication skills. When I had a question or concern she immediately got back to me with an answer. I really appreciated her quick response time to all of my emails calls and texts. The office location is clean and very professional. Steve Sloan was great with communication. He answered all our questions and laid out our options in understandable and concise ways. He didn't seem inconvenienced when we went back and forth between decisions. And kept us informed throughout the process, including when interest rates dropped. I fully trust him and will use him again in the future.

Mr Van Wagoner explained and simplified the process and our options. Our conversations were clear and comfortable. He was friendly and direct with us with the pros and cons of refinancing our home and taking the equity from our home to reinvest and improve it. Only negative was a hiccup where phone call attempts for information request were initiated during the process instead of our consistent emails and texts between all parties. We would highly recommend Mr Van Wagoner and his office to our friends and family.

The team are very nice and professional, They response to the emails or phone calls immediately, They are very onset and always looking for the best option possible for their clients. I worked Mr. Robert Scott, he is more than excellent, I felt he was looking for a mortgage for his own family, he is more than good.

The absolute worst experience I have ever encountered putting together financing for a home- Castle Cook - Boise ID. The problems encountered are to numerous to fit this thread, and are still on going. It’s all very reminiscent of the bait and switch. Steer clear of this company or watch your mortgage become the nightmare with no end.

Jessie is exactly the type of person you want on your side when dealing with your most valuable asset, your home. Services from Caleb Cannon, Loan Office were great! Caleb was very helpful and responding the call immidiately and timely manner. I was able to close mortgage with the scheduled date/time with no issue at all. I recommend him!!!!

The only reason they are getting 2 stars and not one is because Robert Scott. He tried to help but his hands were tied over and over again by the underwriter. They sent me a pre-approval letter for the amount I needed before I signed a purchase agreement. Once the purchase agreement was signed they started changing the terms on me. A week before close they said I wasn’t approved. How did we get from pre-approval to not approved? Are you kidding me? I ended up having to put 67% down in order for the deal to go through. It was a terrible experience. I will never use them again because I can’t trust that they will follow through with a pre-approval. Especially waiting till the last week to say something. That’s just a bad way to do business. I would work with Robert again if he was with a different company, but the underwriting process was a nightmare at Castle & Cooke Mortgage. I do not recommend them because of their underwriting.

Jules Mower at Castle and Cooke made my entire experience almost effortless. She was patient and understanding, and took the time to explain things, and to answer my questions. She, and her colleagues, kept me up to date on the entire process. I would recommend Jules, and her entire team at Castle and Cooke, in a heartbeat. My experience was just fantastic.

My loan agent Jules Mower was amazing! My refinance was quick and easy because of Jules direction and knowledge. Castle & Cooke Mortgage is a great company to deal with.

Jasson Jimenez @ Castle &Cooke was a superb agent. He was knowledgeable and helped us get the best deal for our refinance. I would gladly recommend him and the agency as a professional and outstanding business. They provide you with courteous, quick, and outstanding customer service. They are persistent and tech savvy which enable you to get the best deal out there. We are so appreciative of this company and have already referred them to a family member and 2 family friends.
