Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC International Pkwy, Lake Mary

I have had a mortgage through Carrington for five years and have never missed a payment. Still, they call from different numbers to remind (harass) that a payment will be due soon. I have asked to opt out of the nuisance calls but they still continue. I’d go with a different lender if I could do it all over.

They did not grant us refinancing or any grace when we fell on hard times due to layoff. 3 years after foreclosing they reported our foreclosure date incorrectly and now we are having difficulty buying a home because of the erroneous date. Do not go with this mortgage company. Impossible to get in contact with them or get good service.

They bought my loan from Bank of America. They are rude every time I have had to talk to them about questions. I have perfect credit and have never been late, but they run as a collection agency with idiots that answer the phone. Avoid them if you can.

I have had Carrington for about 5 years now without issue. I think most people who have issues with this company have their own money issues. Their process is very cut and dry, i highly recommend for first time home buyers.

Excellent credit history, no money issues and Citymortgage sold my account and thousands of others to this clown company! This company is a debt collector, but buys thousands of good standing accounts from major mortgage companies that want to make room for new accounts with higher mortgage interest rates! Refinance and dump this company. It is ruining your credit!!!!

Charged $5 per month just to make a mortgage payment on time with a checking account online at their website. Autopay or nothing with this company. They bought my mortgage from Bank of America which was a terrible company too but that is another story. :) Drop this stupid practice and I change my review.
