Having to unexpectedly refinance my home I was nervous about the process. Carrington staff not only made the whole process easy and stress free they beyond exceeded my expectations! Even though I live in a different state Carrington made everything go so smoothly in a timely manner from start to closing! Highly recommend financing with this company!

Mrs. Haynes did an outstanding job on providing me the information I needed in order for me to move to the next step of my application. She went above and beyond any representative I ever spoke with at Carrington! She is also the true definition of a leader and very helpful! COVID 19 has had a major impact on the entire nation. Carrington Mortgage has been compassionate to their clients. They have employees like Catalina Hernandez that have the customer needs at heart. I felt like I had known her all alone. She was patient and in tune to my needs by taking time to explain thoroughly each option of the COVID 19 forbearance.

I had a tragic family accurance happen to me and it caused a major issue in my mortgage payments. Well calling Carrington Services I was panicking, afraid to talk to them, avoided it long enough. I had a Customer Service rep Jessica Ramirze, and she automatically made me feel comfortable to speak with her, caring, and sympathetic ! There was HOPE! Not only did she ease my worries, she was VERY knowledgeable, and came up right away with a number of steps we were gonna try and solutions. I am so much on board again with getting this resolved and looking forward to working with Carrington Mortgages. This is my mortgage company. it seems like every time I call they are happy that I called. Even the ones that aren't very "bubbly" are polite and professional. If I have to call them to discuss my mortgage, I am not embarrassed or ashamed to because i know they will treat me with respect and no judgement.

What can I say? Carrington was competed for my refinancing business with four other lenders. It bested the competition in professionalism, rate, and fees.

The past 19 months have been very difficult for me (COVID/medical issues) and I got behind in my mortgage payments. I was recently granted a forbearance for my mortgage and I called to see if there was anything that I needed to do and to say "Thank You!" From the moment that Belinda answered the phone I felt like I was a person and not just a loan number. She was bright and cheerful and professional in everything that she did. Belinda explained everything regarding my situation and made certain that she answered any questions that I had. I was so relieved by the end of the conversation that I became tearful (but they were tears of relief and happiness). Belinda treated me with respect and dignity. She is a true credit to your company and I look forward to working with her.

The 1st time I had to do a refinance was at the death of my husband. Carrington was very sensitive and compassionate towards me and my family. I had 2 young children and was not able to keep the current mortgage. I was able to get my loan done done and made it affordable for me. The next time was doing the pandemic. Carrington was there and I will never forget the kindness they showed me. I had a wonderful loan officer the 1st time and the 2nd. Thank you Carrington for being there for my family.

When i was first asked by my mortgage company (Carrington Mortgage) to refinance at a lower rate I was skeptical. I asked my loan officer, "Nita", why would your company want to make less from my loan? She said, to help you out and to keep your business! I have to admit, doing the refinance process online was a little uncomfortable. I have trust issues and with all of these scams that you hear about, you just don't know. Carrington's process is actually pretty secure feeling. My loan officer was amazing. She was the main reason I chose to refinance with Carrington! Every question or concern i had, she addressed and made me feel confident with choosing Carrington. I did look around to see what other offers I could get. Rocket Mortgage was about the same and i could have easily switched to them. However, Nita was Carrington's saving grace! She truly made our experience great. Based on my experience, I would feel fully confident with recommending Carrington Mortgage to someone in a similar position as we were when we refinanced. Carrington, you have a great loan officer and I wish her the best!

I always pay my mortgage on time and pay more than required. My family has been sick with the flu and now we are suffering a cold. I have been in bed for more days than I can count and forgot to make my payment. Instead of helping me, they want to charge a $20 processing fee on top of the late fee. I am still sick, I do not have my computer (work computer and only computer) and I tried to pay on my cell and got locked out. They are extremely unwilling to help a VERY loyal customer and I cannot stand companies that are unwilling to help people that are reliable but suffering from something they cannot prevent,such as ongoing illnesses. I completely lost respect for you Carrington. I will make sure you make no more interest off of my family, and I have the money and WILL pay off my loan and refi with another bank just because of your unwillingness to help

We had an amazing Carrington experience today. We are new to the Carrington family so initially we where rather annoyed with having been pushed into an unfamiliar company from our original Mortgage Servicer without our consent but Jose actually did a wonderful job servicing our mortgage account, going over our mortgage status, and options with us today. He really gave us some great solves for our impossible situation. I feel Jose really listened to us, he was great at 'caring' for us, and though it's in their name, that was an unexpected surprise from a Mortgage company. I am very impressed by the way he handled our account and represented the company. We’d grown used to a lot of careless fast talk, and nonsensical information in our previous mortgage relationship but Carrington Mortgage seems to be a company of integrity so Jose made the delivery of his explanations very clear and thorough. Initially we were quite defensive about calling into Carrington but after speaking with Jose we soon realized that fear was irrational. Jose really wanted to support us and fuel us to have all the information and options we needed to be successful homeowners in continually good standing. He seemed to want exactly what we wanted and provided us with the information and options we needed to succeed. As an agent he was very well trained, knowledgeable, with a lot of experience, and a genuine passion for helping people in our situation. Also Jose was very patient, encouraging, and thoughtful during all of his explanations. He made sure we properly understood our situation thoroughly, and gave us a handful of options to help us overcome our hardship, increase our knowledge, and succeed. Jose had an answer ready for all of our concerns and besides giving us about 7 options to manage our account status he also recommended counseling options and emailed us some needed grant funding opportunities that we didn't know existed. Every question was answered and he seemed very wise, encouraging, pleasant, and considerate of our needs as customers so we felt lucky and blessed that our random phone call into Carrington Mortgage had reached him of all the agents but, when going to leave my own glowing review of the company I noticed that he’s among great colleagues that are trending at doing this kind of outstanding services however I still feel our agent, Jose Vasquez, is the very best of them all and I want to thank Carrington Mortgage, and Jose Vasquez specifically, for going above and beyond to care for us. We are overwhelmed by the thoughtful kindness you fuel into your Agents and are relieved by your consideration of us as individuals. This phone call settled all our doubts. I called to get information about how to bring my account current after being in a COVID forbearance plan for the past few months. Gloria was extremely helpful and went through the entire procedure with me in a clear and concise manner. She even explained programs that I may be eligible for in order to pay the forbearance amount over time. When I explained I would be able to make a lump sum payment she then explained that process without any hesitation. She is extremely knowledgeable and very clear in her communication. She even informed me how to best follow up with her in a few days. It was a pleasure speaking with her today and I look forward to continuing to work with her. She is an exemplary employee and someone that others should try to emulate. Very pleased with my experience today. In an age where some do not take pride in their job, or don't have the motivation to learn, she is a breath of fresh air. She is definitely an asset to your company.

Instead, when I called back, I got a different associate on the line and he was a breath of fresh air for the customer service world that we live in. Jesus "Jesse" Reyes was very professional, understanding, patient, kind, courteous, and most of all respectful and non judgemental. It was not that he gave me any information that made me happy, but it was his delivery of the information, be it favorable or not, and his willingness to go above and beyond to assist me in such a professional manner with getting solid factual answers that was much appreciated. He never made me feel rushed off of the phone and did not come across as being judgemental about my already stressful and unfortunate situation. I think Jesus "Jesse" Reyes is exemplifies the characteristics of a leader and should either be promoted, given a monetary bonus for his outstanding work (or both), but he should definitely be put in a position so that his communication skills can assist the team on a much larger scale. Others could definitely learn from his professional, above and beyond, non judgemental, customer service approach when dealing with customers. Carrington bought our contract from Wells Fargo. Wasn't sure what to expect because we have never heard of them before and frankly, we thought it was a scam when we got the paperwork in the mail and it just didn't look right. After talking with Wells Fargo and Carrington, all is well. After a year, we are satisfied that Carrington is a good company. They send us emails from time to time to keep us up to date on our loan/home information. I like that we do not get phone calls like Wells Fargo did just to try to get us to do more business with them. Here's to a long business relationship.

Esalina has been great throughout this entire process. She has always been timely with her email/phone contact. When I had questions concerning my home and options for bringing my loan current, she explained things to me in terms that I could understand. She updated me on the status of my review often and has always ended her emails with an opportunity to contact her if I had questions or needed any other assistance.

These ppl are wicked!! I tried to access my OWN acct to get a copy of MY OWN tax document. However, I couldnt. Now, mind you, I have NO PROBLEM accessing the acct to PAY my mortgage. But, i cant access it to review and pay my taxes??? What kind of tom foolery is this? If this is indeed MY home, MY acct, why cant i access MY information??? what is the problem here? this is not costing Carrington any money at all. So MAKE this information available to the homeowners ASAP!~

Actually I had a most wonderful experience with Carrington Mortgage. This is the second time they will refinance for me. But this was the better of the two. It was quick. The communication was fluid and constant. The interest rate was great. And closing was done within the time frame I asked for since I was traveling outside the country. I will highly recommend them.
