Just to say they tried. The cars were nasty an the establishment was completely different from any I've ever visited busted windows on the vehicles. They told my girl an I we didn't make enough money to purchase a vehicle. But I know we did enough to purchase there best vehicle there. She didn't even ask how much money I had for a down payment

The service takes 3hours for you to get approved for a car and your options are limited for picking a car once you get approved.. The bad thing about Car Hop the cars that you get might have some minor problems but they won’t fix it because it’s not under the warranty. And if you do have any problems with a vehicle under the warranty they only replace the parts with used parts from the junkyard😢😞😩

When I first got a car there I had to take it back the next day because of transmission problems I needed a car bad because my credit is not good to go elsewhere and so I received another vehicle a 2005 Chevy Equinox the next few days I saw the engine light and was told it was not really nothing well I got the car Dec 2019 and the car has been running hot and the mechanic told me today it’s not worth fixing they sold me a lemon! I’m calling them tomorrow and I will give you all a update if they fix the issue I will give a better rating. If not I will still give feedback if the service proves me right which is bad

I will have to update this again as I was not able to actually take the car home tonight (I could not drive two cars and didn't think to bring someone with me) however I wanted to say that the customer service is great here. Thomas is easy going and easy to work with and DeAndre was very nice as well. No pressure and answered every single question without trying to BS me (like Infiniti of Marin did when I bought from them in July 2019 and returned the vehicle 3 months later due to their shady business practices)no games on pricing here and pretty easy with the paperwork. Even though the place was packed when I arrived , the actual process once it was my time to speak to Thomas and then do the paperwork did not take long at all. I went into carhop Vallejo not expecting to leave with anything, I was hoping at the least I could leave with a bucket. The women that helped me, Megan Walton was super chill an was trying to make sure that I left the lot with something decent, I didn't realize I had such horrible credit but she was still willing to work with me and ended up hooking me up with a really nice Mazda. Payments are super low and manageable. I highly doubt there are any other dealerships that would have hooked me up like this. I recommend this dealership to anyone in desperate need of a vehicle. Much appreciated.

EDIT: called to make a payment arrangement due to COVID (I have paid on time 100%) and they said they could only note the account and won’t set up a payment plan. Thanks for the help! So I bought a car from here and they prefer you to be on autopay. I signed up for autopay and my payments never get taken out on the day my payments are due. So now my payments are late. I call to see if my account is paid and I’m told it is so I’m supposed to be good?! But I’m not as I get an email the next day saying my account is past due and not paid and they “need to know my plan” WHAT?!?!? So I call and ask them to charge it please the money is in the account and it was for every payment I have made so far And the lady in the phone tells me I have to be charged a 5$ processing fee for this. The first time I called when this happened the lady over the phone told me because I have an online bank it’s gunna return my payment and my payments will be taken out at midnight on the 7th. Ummm ok. The second time I called a different lady tells me my payments are due on the 6th at midnight and she doesn’t know why this is happening and this can’t keep happening. ANOTHER WHAT. DO YOU PEOPLE AT CARHOP HAVE YOUR STUFF TOGETHER BECAUSE NOONE SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB OR WHATS GOING ON. Don’t go here. Go somewhere else like Paul blanco. They don’t know what they’re doing here.

I was very nervous coming to carhop my credit was not good and I didnt have much to put down as a deposit, but the associate Angelica was very helpful and answered all my questions. She got me a great down payment and set me up payment arrangments better than i had planned. i am driving away very happy that i came today!!!!

Don’t go here! It’s one of the worst places you can ever purchase a vehicle, they will rip you off, the cars aren’t even worth what they sell them for. You can get approved for bad credit at Carmax As well so check them out INSTEAD! You’ll be more happier to purchase your vehicle there. Carhop doesn’t fix your interior issues nor suspension or muffler, or cosmetic issues, they will only fix your engine, for the first 18 months and that’s it.

I bought a car from them years ago and paid way too much money then but considering my situation I figured I might give them another try. I was unhappy with service I got. They said I only qualified for a couple cars and both of them were junk had a lot of miles on it and very old not to mention the damage to the outside of the car. I went ahead and test drove one of them which had a knocking sound and I wasn't about to spend my money for something that was going to break down. When I told her I wasn't interested candy made me feel like I was passing up such a good deal because of a little bit of cosmetic work needed. That's not the case. The cars they showed me I wouldn't spend my money on and she put me down and tried to make me feel bad for not wanting the cars. The car they show you online are not the cars that they try and sell you. I know when I have the car before I was paying a lot weekly out of my paycheck which wasn't worth the car I got. It wasn't about to do it again. I won't be going back there.

I went here and was received by Diane who on the surface seemed very nice and helpful. We went through the process of approval and I received approval for only one vehicle based on my down payment. It was a 2004 Honda Odyssey with 140k miles. They wanted 10,095 for it on the sticker. The back bumper was cracked and the paint sun faded at first inspection. I then read the sales sticker on the window looking for other issues but the sticker said there was no issues with anything. Upon driving it, I turned on the AC because it was hot out. I had the vehicle running and driving for a half hour and the temp said 60 but the air was nothing but hot. This was one thing on the sticker that said "no issues". the interior stunk and carpeting was stained. upon returning to Car Hop, I told Diane my concerns about the sticker lying to the customer and the price of over 10k was ridiculous considering the age, miles and condition of the vehicle. Apparently this is an institution that preys on people that are less fortunate. Diane responded to my concerns by saying the AC was not a runnability issue. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!?! DO NOT BUY HERE!!! ESPECIALLY THE 2004 ODYSSEY!!!!!!!

This please disable me with my average credit zero dollars down incommunicado where is Emily before they close I took me my love in the made sure I didn’t leave until Hanukkah no matter how long it took to approve me what I don’t think I can approved period awesome please highly recommend 10 out of 10 five stars period when you guys don’t know where to go for a car please check this place out!

I just bought this car and my key doesn’t even work. They had to get a locksmith to my house and it’s the day before thanksgiving. So I can’t even get a new key until two days! My door has to remain unlocked because they key doesn’t work. Plus high payments. Almost 400 for a 2007 car. Man this womps.

My personal experience has been poor with other branches but the district manager and Thomas Smith at the Vallejo office made the process easy and stress free. He has excellent customer service skills and I would definitely reccomend HIS service. Can’t speak for all carhop employees. Honorable mention to Cody. He was very helpful too.

Carhop is such an awesome place to get a car I was in and out like that. Cody got me into the car I wanted! They worked with me in my time of crisis! She is friendly and will do what she can to get you into a car. My second time buying a car through carhop Vallejo was much better than my first. UPDATED: had some mechanical issues with my car and since I had paid consistently on the car, they suggested I bring in my car - with mechanical and body issues - and they would take it in on trade. Took a little over a day to find EXACTLY what I wanted (payment went up less than $20) and I came out with a great car that is in great shape. Love the service and the honesty I get whenever I work with this group - really nice people who make the car buying experience less painful. Would highly recommend as a repeat customer. Had an excellent experience at Car Hop, Vallejo. I called in advance and was told what to bring. When I came in, we did all the paperwork then they presented me with a car that matched my down payment and the payments I could afford. They explained the experience every step of the way - I never felt like they were leading me on. My sales rep, Angelica, stayed late to ensure that I had all my paperwork done as I drove off in my vehicle. If you don't expect to drive away in the latest car but in a dependable vehicle where you can also rebuild your credit, this is the place to go.

This is my 2nd experience dealing with CarHop and I am very happy and grateful. The process went smooth, even though I was pressed for time. Veronica and the staff were great there. I was sad to hear Lemuel had been transferred as he was the one that got me into the first vehicle but glad to hear he was promoted.I was able to get an upgrade from the last car I bought from there and so far no complaints. The best part, No huge massive amount I had to pay, the price increase is hardly noticeable (you can buy a beer with it). Overall, another great experience and another satisfied customer.

When making a payment arrangement that you have a history of keeping they question everything about it. Once they agree. Instead of a curtosy remindert of the upcoing date. They send a email that if the payment is not made by the day you schedule they threatened they will disable the starter remotely. The worse customer service ever. They were well informed of why the payment arrangements are nessary. Explained of caring for a sick parent. They asked if I can use my parents limited income to pay them. So not only are they tirents for money they make sure they add stress to your life when you explained that you were already in a stressful situation. I received the threat of a disabled starter 5 days before the arrangements where scheduled to be paid. I will never deal with this company again. I don't suggest anyone else should eaither

Angelica D and Deandre helped me so much with finding a vehicle here at carhop with my bad credit. i started off at carhop in Hayward and told the sales person (Alex) i did not feel comfortable with that vehicle he kept insisting that i "just give it a try" .i told him no multiple times. Later i found out he tried to say that i was getting the vehicle for someone else (which was not true) Deandre manager at vallejo made sure he cleared stuff up for me and got me into a newer better vehicle for a little more but in budget vehicle. i Highly recommend Carhop VALLEJO. they give you options for what you can put down and If you pay a little more amount as well.

Now this is only my opinion and experience, you are your own person you don’t have to listen to me..Now don’t get me wrong the people are very nice customer service is good but of course everyone is when they want to make a sale. the whole carhop program is really really bad. Do not buy a car from carhop, it’s not the cars, the cars are decent it’s the way they set you up. They know people go there as a last resort because of credit situation well that’s how I felt and they use that to get more money out of people. Yes I bought a car from there and it was the worse mistake I’ve ever done in my life I can’t wait until it’s paid off. On my last payment I’m going to walk in there with a smile on my face and whatever customers that are in there I will forsure let them know do not do it please. Hopefully not all carhops are like that.

I had unexpected surprises on my credit report and was unable to buy a car at a dealership. My car was in the shop and I was told the cost of repairs would be more than what the car was worth. I had no car and was in a rental. On top of this, I was dealing with a family emergency and my son was in the hospital. I had to get a car ASAP and stop paying on a rental. Carhop was so professional, friendly and understanding. They showed me the cars I would qualify for and I made my choice. It was all done in a timely manner.
