I must say that Capitol City Pawn is one of the best shops in town to buy, sell and trade! The workers are extremely nice, I was greeted before I even had both feet in the door. Calm atmosphere variety of items and they DO NOT try to low ball you! They take time with each customer and really look at your items good so that you will get the best price for it! This is the only shop I will go to! They are honest and integral with their business! I would give them 10 stars but google only allows 5!

I've been going here for 8 years, always pleasant and friendly.. Great prices and deals. Very fair selling and buying. Everything I've bought I still have and works great. Need cash fast check them out. All the electronics work great. Very honest establishment.

Went to sell a piece of jewelry. They told me a clean 1 carat ruby in 14k gold is essentially scrap gold, and the ruby has no value. Obviously that is not true, but they were pretty aggressive with their opinions. Do your research and know exactly what you have before you consider selling here. They deal in whatever they can make a buck on, and obviously are not experts in the field of fine jewelry. Take the time to find a buyer who appreciates the true value of your jewelry, clientele of the pawn shop most likely are not these people. I'm not saying they were disrespectful, they seemed nice enough, but had very limited knowledge in jewelry. I had also talked to them about diamonds, and they kind of just glazed over when I talked about cut, color, and clarity. They assigned diamond values based on carat weight alone. Proceed with caution.

So I was shopping around on Facebook market for an AC, all of the ACs I kept saving to come back to later was at this facility. As soon as I got there y’all I was scared because the ACs were pretty much sold out however they had more downstairs and they were able to hook me up with an AC at a affordable price and I am forever thankful because I really needed that AC. Also the kids were with me and one of the employees brought the AC out to the car and I really appreciated that. The AC is amazing my daughters room was so cool and comfortable.

Pawned a few items, wasn’t very expensive to get back, very polite and easy to work with. Would recommend this store. They have the new Xbox’s and Ps5’s for decent price if anyone is looking for those.

They are nice friendly and go out of their way to give me the best fair deal they can. I literally have gone to other pawn shops and have been offered a ridiculously low price and turned around and came to capital city buy and sell and was offered 10 times the amount that the other place offered. I won't go anywhere else

Went to trade silver rounds for a used tool they had. Tool was priced very well but was only offered 78% of daily bid price of silver. Don't like haggling and the tool was worth more to me than the silver sitting in my safe. Overall happy with the transaction but will only ever do cash transactions in the future.

My husband and I love coming to see these guys! They always do right by us no matter if we're buying or selling. If your planning on selling I can guarantee they will give you top dollar for your items!

Great service, friendly people, lots of good merchandise! They didn't really want what we were trying to pawn, but they took it anyway just to help us out.

First time there sell something and they gave me exactly what I asked for it didn't try to haggle me at all. I've had experiences with other pawn shops and they always try to haggle your offer down but not these guys definitely recommend them

Not very good customer service offer you very little money for good condition items I was personally offered 75 dollars for an item that sold 300.00 refurbished and used and the customer experience was not great at all they have no experience in bargaining trading ect and have no clue to the market surrounding any items there but they sell fake jewelry

The owner approves his employees forcing you to sign the pad pretending its to verify your information. Then hand you an amount you didn’t agree to. I got 148 dollars total for 4 different pieces of brand new EGO Powered lawn care equipment. He laughed in face and said well its done with now. Edit: They’re favorite line is “you must have us mistaken with another location”. No I don’t; I came in and The guy who said he was the owner basically laughed in my face and said it’s too late now. Explain how 4 pieces of Ego battery powered Lawn equipment sold for 148 dollars including 3 batteries? I would never approve that price. No one wanted that amount and you guys know that. Please don’t lie for the internet or I will record next time.

This was the first time I ever was in a Pawn shop so I had no clue how it worked to sell stuff. Both gentlemen at the front counter went above & beyond to help me. Very professional & great store, next time I will be browsing as it looked like they had some neat stuff!

This place is a joke!! They offer you very little money for stuff that is in good condition. Sometimes people fall on hard times and if you do and need to sell something that you have to pay a bill or even to put food in your mouth, don't take anything to this place. Worst pawn shop in the state 💯. Next time I will just give my stuff away to someone in need

Employee was extremely professional when it came time to negotiate the sales price of what i was selling, we hagled back and forth for a minute or two. I never really go into a pawnshop, but I decided to check out this one I keep hearing about??! Capital city Pawnshop on Walnut street. Well I am so thankful I did! The employees are very nice, friendly, and ready to help you find whatever you were looking for, like Valentine’s Day present beautiful jewelry! Birthday presents, ANYTHING!! This store Has EVERYTHING!! I will be returning and I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

I don’t normally go to pawnshops, but I stop by Capital City Pawnshop In Harrisburg And WOW! The customer service is fantastic!! They have new and used items for GREAT Prices, and yet they will work with you on the prices.. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out sometime you won’t be disappointed.

I go here regularly. I have bought/sold and pawned/repawned items. I also sell a lot of gift cards here and I can honestly say I never had a bad experience here. They're upfront and honest with you and if you build a positive relationship here, they will help you if they can. I will only go here for all my pawn shop needs. 👍🏼

I deal with this shop on a regular basis, either buying or selling or for a quick loan between checks. Eitherway they are absolutely 💯 professional and fair. Some people don't understand that just like any other place around , this is a place of business and they are in it and around for that reason, TO MAKE MONEY!! You can't expect to bring in first off in most cases used items and get the full value. You have to take into consideration that its going to sit for a while before sold which means its going to depreciate even more in price... This place is by far one of the most fair shops I've been to and I will continue to give them my business because of it. Keep it up guys , absolutely 💯 professional, fair and genuine 👏 👍 👌

Only pawn shop around. Decent people working there. Give about half of what something is worth. Not bad for a pawn shop. You can haggle prices and and they have a very good pawn/loan service

Overly priced when buying and when selling they try to low ball . Pawn shop down the street is more worth your time.

Horrible experience with them the taller white gentleman was very rude and disrespectful when being asked questions and speaking about the items my neck also began to turn green after purchasing jewelers from them

Honestly never really tried pawn shops before, but I came in the one day when I was in a real bind, as flustered and frustrated, it was a difficult time, as I was the gentleman at the counter, Christian really provided some amazing customer service, options are great, offers are very fair, 10/10 would recommend. Great people, great selection of stuff available to buy too!

I’ve always had good experiences dealing with this place, but on my most recent visit they really went above and beyond. I needed the bare minimum in order to take care of of some personal stuff. I told them upfront what the situation was and they offered me an amount over my asking price in order to help me out and I am so grateful for that.

Everyone there is so kind so nice and so willing to help you I never usually go in upon stores but I saw some items outside that was for sale and now I can't stop going there it's pretty much like a thrift shop.. I mean their deals are outrageous everyone likes to work with you even if you're still unsure regarding the price they will figure out another price that works with you and also accommodates them highly highly recommend this business
