Capital One Bank E Fordham Rd, Bronx

This is THE WORST BRANCH I have ever been. The most unprofessional, from the tellers to the manager. One star is still to much for them. I went today to withdraw money from my checking account and the teller questioned me about transaction from 2 month ago. Like, why are you going through my transactions? I've been a client for a very long time. I have my business account with Capital One, but every time I go to the teller is something. Also telling my business out loud, both the teller and the manager. You guys are putting a target on people's back when you don't keep it quiet. YOU ARE IN THE BRONX, YOU HAVE TO BE MORE CAREFUL. Because of the stupidity of this people, is that I rather go to other branch.

Not enough space to properly and comfortably assist customers for what seems to be a busy location, and an appointment is necessary for almost anything. Then making appointments can only be done online, and the site has a habit of telling you something went wrong try again later. The really bad part is that there seems to be no recourse!

Went to this location on 1/24/20 at 12:40 P.M. to deposit money in my account. The lines for tellers was so long, I decided to deposit using the ATM. Deposited my cash into the ATM and it read error and took all my money. Reported the issue to the employees and they said to call a put a claim in for my money. I deposited my entire check and the best they could do was accredit me within ten business days. While I was placing the complaint about the money, no one turned off the ATM or opened it up to count the money. While I put the claim in they didn't even accredit me with some sort of credit for my money. I was entirely disappointed with the entire experience at the bank.

Horrible business model, long lines are a sign of a failing business structure. Who ever is the manager at that bank needs to be fired and hire some one who knows how to run a business

This place is horrible in everyway possible/imaginable. Security does absolutely nothing for the customers safety. I give it one stars because the tellers I dealt with have been nice.. Only in the Bronx is this Bank run so unorganized is sad.

Dirty vestibule. Higher atm fee for non customers than the closest store with an atm. Feels totally unsafe because the doors doesn't close completely behind you and have to keep looking to see if someone if coming in behind you while making a withdrawal transaction. Updated 4/4/22 the condition WORSENED since my initial review. The lobby reeked of urine and it's a makeshift homeless bedroom after regular business hours. See attached photos. I went in (my mistake) to make an emergency atm withdrawal and there wasn't 1 or 2 but 3 people in the atm area as if it's THEIR BEDROOM looking at me like I don't belong there. The strong overbearing smell of urine was the secondary reason I immediately left. Management will say as a reply they're addressing the situation as they did to my original review, but the problems only get worse If you read my review, give it a thumbs up 👍🏻

The staff is helpful, what keeps it from a perfect score is the, ATM machines, only two or three, working, if you're lucky.

Today 11/19/2021 at 5:23 there is only one ATM working for Whithdrawls with a long line. Incredible

By far the WORST branch in NYC Managed by incompetent and most likely UNVACCINATED personnel who have no regard or consideration for customers. I loathe this branch

The Fordham Road branch is the worst. On three separate occasions after work have gotten off my bus an when I arrived at the bank was told they were closed (ATM) part. First and far most I use to go the Riverdale branch until it was closed but the biggest problem is to few branches..
